Mortereve all!
Who all watched the Super Bowl? Great game, huh?
Hope I answered your question and didn't bore you too much.
Bore me?! Not at all! Sounds like a very fun job; I envy you getting the chance to do it. I'll bet you learned a lot, too!
Ugh, every day? That would become tedious. Yup, -29º. It was one crazy weekend, apparently. The weather at home hasn't been anywhere near that cold, though it has been below zero a lot. I like winter, but it's so... cold. I dislike wearing coats, so that presents problems for me.
It sure seems like every day! Come to think of it, it actually hasn't snowed for several days. Must be the longest we've gone without snow in a long time.
I don't like wearing long-sleeved shirts, so I have to wear coats during winter. But I don't really like coats either, so I try to wear really thin coats or sometimes just a sweatshirt.
No sad movies, eh? I didn't find Up extremely sad, actually - I just didn't find the plot interesting. *shrug* I always thought WALL-E was better.
So, you like WALL•E? I suppose once the story got going, it was a little more interesting, but it took a while and never grabbed my interest, like Up. I couldn't say which movie I like better, since I haven't seen either in a long time.
*GLOMPS Aiden* Long time no see, eh? How have you been doing? Hmm, you don't like WALL-E? Understandably so. I thought the movie was pretty cute, but I know several people (including you now) who didn't like it and I can see why.
Wow, I've never been glomped before! *glomps back* I've been very busy, but well! No, I didn't really like WALL•E, but I don't know many who do. Now, what do you think of Up? I didn't like it too much, either, for most of the same reasons as WALL•E, but most people I know love it.
Have a good mortereve all!

Good mortereve, all!
Ithilwen: Aw, a kitten? What fun! Boy or girl? Have you named it yet? Is this your first pet? I have two cats at the moment, a five year old and a six month old. We had two others who disappeared over the years, as well as a rabbit and hamster. My dream is to have a dog, however. I absolutely love them, but my parents won't let me get one until I have my own house.
Ruby! It's wonderful to see you as well! How are things going for you? Life has certainly been busy these last few weeks, and I feel like I'm drowning in schoolwork. Somehow I end up managing, however. It's not that the homework is particularly difficult, i's just so time consuming. I was sick for the first two weeks of the semester, and I still haven't caught up in math. Ugh.
Ooh, was it your first time skiing? How fun! Have you ever ice skated before? And thanks for the link! I'll have to check out your blog one of these days.
And I'm so glad you're enjoying Harry Potter! (I said that in the Harry Potter thread already, but I always get excited when my friends read them. It's definitely one of my favorite series.)
*waves to Lia* Hullo! I've seen you around, and I think I possibly might even have met you, but since I can't remember I'll go ahead and say hi again. You can decide on a suitable nickname if you like -- Rose, Rosa, and Miss R are a few of the ones I go by. (Though "Rose" might be confusing now, with the other Rose around.) I think I'll adopt Lia for you. It's a pretty name.
*watches Nick and Ruby glomp each other with interest* Now that is something I've never seen before. Hopefully it isn't as painful as it sounds (...clomp, stomp, whomp...).
I think we were supposed to get a warm spell, Nick. I'm not sure if that's still the forecast, but I haven't been able to feel much of a temperature difference. I still freeze on the way to school every morning. (It's a very miserable trip, considering that our heater stopped working.) We haven't had any major dumping of snow, either -- just a few inches now and then.
I don't mind thin coats; it's the huge, poofy ones that annoy me. They're so inconvenient! I can't move around well, and end up waddling about place to place looking like a penguin. I try to go with layers instead - a sweatshirt, with a thin coat over it. Something like that.
I didn't love WALL-E, but I thought it was an okay movie. It was cute, even though the plot was a bit slow at times.

Hallelujah! Choir practice wasn't cancelled tonight. Last week, both of our choir practices were cancelled due to snow. It's supposed to snow again tonight, but I'm so glad we got to sing. We did surprisingly well. We're singing a piece called "Scarborough Fair", arranged by my mother. She's really excited to be playing it for the first time in concert with us singing. And then we're singing another folk song called, "The Gods have heard" and then a song in German, but I can't remember the name of that song. And I can't remember the tune either, because we sight-read it...
We're doing exceptionally well at sight-reading. Admittedly, sight-reading as a soprano is easier than sight-reading the alto line. We did re-placements and I'm a soprano now, not an alto.
You know what's strange? (change of subject) My back has been hurting all week. It's never hurt before and I don't understand why it's hurting now. It's really driving me crazy, because I can't practice the piano for more than half an hour without it killing me! Sorry if this is random, but my back's hurting right now. I just finished washing the dishes.
Aiden, you've never been glomped before? I got the word from my sister who got it from her friends on The Lions Call forum. It's something like a friendly tackle, in which the person glomping is so excited to see the person getting glomped that they accidentally run over/tackle the poor glomped person. But it's in all friendliness! Most of the time. You can glomp people when you're mad too. Just be sure to put the angry face next to it.
I've only seen UP like once. And that was in theaters in 3-D. I don't know why but I was feeling horribly sick that day, like heat exhaustion or something, so I couldn't really concentrate on the movie. I thought the dogs were pretty funny and it was a sweet story. But it is very slow-paced. I imagine it would be a story that would fit better in a children's book or something.
Miss R, glomps are not as painful as they sound. I've glomped very few people in real life...probably because I'm a bit too pathetic to really glomp someone.
Yes, it was my first time skiing. I have skated before, but I'm not very good. I mean, I balance fine and I know how to move forward, glide, and the like. But I've never taken lessons. My parents are excellent skaters, because my dad used to play hockey and my mom took figure skating in high school.
Getting sick is no fun. My sister has had a cold for the past few days. She's getting over it, but it's definitely hard to get schoolwork done while you're sick. I hope you get all caught up very soon. I'm very bad about catching up when I'm behind. I tend to only fall farther behind rather than catch up, which is why I try and avoid falling behind altogether.
Yes, I am really enjoying reading Harry Potter! They're definitely one of my favorite series--well, I haven't read the whole series yet, but I'm sure it will be one of my favorite series.
Speaking of great series, have you read any of the fairy tales retold by Regina Doman? I've only read one of the books from her series (The Sign Of The Bear, a retelling of Snow White and Rose Red). Winty and Valia introduced me to her and she's a very good author. I plan on reading the rest of her books when I'm done with Harry Potter.
You know what's funny? When you put your music on shuffle and you get the acoustic version of Relient K's "Which To Bury; Us or The Hatchet?" and then right after that, you get the non-acoustic version of the same song. Makes me chuckle. I'm easily amused.
My shuffle isn't very good--so far I've gotten like four Relient K songs in a row, right now I'm listening to "Forgiven". Hmm. This must be my favorite Relient K song of all time. *happiness*
Well, I think I'll call that a post! I'll be hanging around here for a while! God bless!

Hello all!
Looks like a lot of catchup! But first a few little updates . .
My parents are on vacation, so it's just me and my two siblings at home, but we're having a friend over soon, and staying at our grandparents house some. It's kind of fun.
Packers won the Super Bowl! How awesome is that? Go Aaron Rodgers!!
Eh, so your parents aren't too keen on you seeing them, huh? I know how that is!
Oh, really? That's interesting. I've always liked his style, especially like the parts where he's figuring out what the clues mean.
Up never seemed like an interesting story to me, kinda like WALL•E. I guess it's just me.
Well, I've heard of most of them, just never seen any.
Yeah, I think my parents would prefer it if I never watched them, though they haven't personally either. They've seen clips of the more scary and gross things. You know. But they will eventually (let me watch it).
I don't think he's excellent, but I'm not down on him like some people I know. He makes the movies fun.
I actually found Walle a little boring, but I loved Up. I guess it's a matter of opinion.
*waves to Pon*
But I'd rather ruin a movie than a book, wouldn't you? Not being able to enjoy a move because you are picky and love the source material is sometimes unfortunate, granted, but ruining a book because you have been indoctrinated by some mere filmmaker's interpretation of it is ... tragic.
Agh - you're making me agree with you! I would agree with everything except this movie. When it's the best movie in the world . . and my sister's read and watched them, and likes the movie better. So won't you go with it? Please oh please?
I am so against those people who can't enjoy movies after they've read the book.
A good friend, who knows me very well, gave me a T-shirt that reads "Movies: Ruining the Book Since 1920" because he had heard me grouse about so many adaptations. I love that shirt.
haha - that's awesome!!
*waves to Star and AC*
Did someone mention NaNo editing? *runs in corner and covers ear* Don't remind me!
*waves to Elanor*, it's good to hear that you're doing well! Time with friends is always the best, especially when you get to have a good long discussion. What have you been up to lately?
Hello, Ruby! How are you doing? It was amazing, thanks! We did have some really deep talks, and then the hysteric laughing one's too. I'm doing really good, thanks!
I'm doing good! Life's been kinda weird lately (what with Rose and the owls and all *looks innocent*) but hopefully this month will straighten itself out though.
Um - yeah, that does sound weird! *hugs*

Another snow day! Whoot! And this one is a pretty snow! With only a few little drifts. The ground is completely covered in white and I feel like I'm in Narnia! Right now I'm sitting with my mother's laptop in front of a beautiful fire in our wood stove. Aaah. Bliss.
Since all school for today was cancelled yesterday, my sister and I stayed up until past midnight watching "Harry Potter and The Prisoner of Azkaban". We crazy. I thought the movie was good, the only thing I didn't like was that
They cast everyone in the movie extremely well. Aack! I need to hurry up and read-read the rest of the series.
Elanor! Good to hear that you're doing well! How's school been going?? I can't remember what grade your in...but I think you told me once. I'm in the grade where you have to learn Chemistry and Algebra II and all kinds of nasty things.
Well, I need to go, erm, get dressed. Yes, it is 1:30 in the afternoon and I still have my pajamas on. But I haven't been doing nothing. I've making really good head way on the Mozart Sonata I've started learning. I love it! It's so pretty and I can't wait to learn the rest of it.
Oh, speaking of piano lessons, my piano teacher is having me play in one of her studio classes with the college level students. Eek! I'm going to die. I just hope they aren't all playing uber-advanced pieces and I'm the only one there with a dinky Intermediate piece. Sigh. Well, see you all later! Stay warm!
God bless!

*watches Nick and Ruby glomp each other with interest* Now that is something I've never seen before. Hopefully it isn't as painful as it sounds (...clomp, stomp, whomp...).
Lol! Well, according to Wiktionary, glomp means "to embrace enthusiastically; to pounce on and hug, often from a running start". Could be painful, I suppose.
Yeah, I think it's supposed to warm up here, as well! Ooh, sorry to hear your heater broke. I know how you feel; we don't have any air-conditioning, which, for me at least, is worse than having no heat.
I don't mind thin coats; it's the huge, poofy ones that annoy me. They're so inconvenient! I can't move around well, and end up waddling about place to place looking like a penguin. I try to go with layers instead - a sweatshirt, with a thin coat over it. Something like that.
Yes, exactly! Same here. This is the type of sweatshirt I usually wear, with a light coat over it.
I didn't love WALL-E, but I thought it was an okay movie. It was cute, even though the plot was a bit slow at times.
Yeah, I suppose.
Aiden, you've never been glomped before? I got the word from my sister who got it from her friends on The Lions Call forum. It's something like a friendly tackle, in which the person glomping is so excited to see the person getting glomped that they accidentally run over/tackle the poor glomped person. Nope, I've never even heard the word before! But, now I know what it's like.
Oh, I'll bet seeing it in 3D didn't help your sickness any. Yeah, there were some good parts, but, like you said, it was very slow-paced.
Yup, I can relate to that. I supposes the movies could have done with a little less violence, but they're not too bad.
Well, I enjoy watching him. Have you ever seen him in anything else?
Yup, it's a matter of opinion, although it seems like most people I know like Up, but not WALL•E.

Mortereve all! Well, it's been way too long since I've been in here. Been keeping busy with school and Life.... and continuing to discover new soundtracks.
*Are you going to try a catch-up post as you mentioned earlier, Cor? *
I think I will. *looks at the previous pages* Only about 5 or so pages to catch-up on, shouldn't be too bad.
*Second famous last words..... *
What was that?
*Oh, nothing. *
Riiight....
--------------------------------------
@ Rose. Congrats!! You're the first person on my catch-up post!!!
Heh, well, Mom has actually talked about doing just that (carrying off the chocolate tree). Vern and I have talked her into forgoing that plan as the tree might not grow outside of the Square. (if you think differently, please don't tell her! It took us several months just to convince her of the above.... )
Yep! The entire first week of classes were cancelled! Granted, we're going to have to go longer at the end, but that's fine.
Heh, I was posting about it a lot for a bit their on FB, wasn't I?
@ Elanor. Aww, sorry to hear that you've been down. Hope you're doing a lot better now.
I'm afraid I'm not a football fan, sorry! I do enjoy watching some sports though: baseball, figure skating, gymnastics... and that's about it.
I'm doing quite well, thanks! School and Life are kind of busy at present but overall everything is going well. We keep getting cold spells down here and the threat of winter storms, which is something a little odd for us.
Oh yes, quite. I even ordered the soundtrack a few weeks ago. Thanks! I really like as well.
*Of course you do or you wouldn't have it! *
"Thank you for summing that up..."
@ Ara. Congrats on graduating! (this is probably extremely late, but anyway) Heh, well at least you a bit of a break between college and getting a job. Speaking of which, what kind of job are you looking into? Something to do with landscaping, I presume?
College is going well. Good and into my second semester already which is going well so far. All my teachers have been/are really nice and I get along well with them, which is a nice bonus. (thanks! It's now a family favorite.... the movie, not the avvie )
@ Dryad. Lot's of people despise me for this, but..... Finding Nemo. I can understand the love of this film from a production standpoint (the animation is amazing!), but I really never "got it". It's O.K, but hardly the amazing, moving, perfect film everyone claims it to be. *wonders if he has also alienated Dryad now.... *
@ Princess. Sis!!! Tis been far too long since you have graced us with your presence. Glad you're doing well and that the move went smoothly.
@ Lys. First off, sorry about that first emoticon. Can't remember which one I meant to put.... but that definitely was not it.
Well, when you have multiple interests plus having to pay for more than groceries every-now-and-then, I can easily understand where there wouldn't be much free room for getting soundtracks. Hopefully you can add at least 2 more this year.
By the way, I noticed As You Like it at our local library. I know you highly recommended the score, do you also recommend the film? *hopes he got the name correct...)
*waves to everyone not specifically mentioned above: Lia, Gazer, Wolfy, Ruby, NN and Ben*

Alright, I think that gets everything. I hope everyone has a splendid evening and a pleasant Thursday!

I'm so happy right now - I've sent in the final report of this project I've been working on for school since September, and now I'm donedonedone!! Don't have to do any more work, ever.. *sighs contentedly* Well, I have to present it next week, and then I guess I'll be completely done. But this is such a load off my back.
And, tomorrow is a public holiday - more importantly, it's one of the very few that my school actually gives us , so my weekend starts today. Yay!
Catchup time!
Aww, Riella, that's so cool about the kitten! I've always wanted a cat.. but we've never been living in an appropriate place for long enough. One day.. Anyway, how's the kitten doing? What's his/her name?
AC!! *hugs* I know, it has been eerily quiet around here on the Square! I'm in fault here, because I haven't posted in ages. I peeked in here once just to read up on some of the posts though. But I'm too far behind to even consider catching up, so...
How have you been doing?
*hugs back* I'm doing well, thanks. (see top of post for my current mood, it's pretty obvious ) My workload for school should lessen considerably after next week, and when that happens, I'll actually be able to sit down and consider how my life is going. When I'm busy like this I just tend to go and go until it's over, d'you know what I mean? How are you doing? Oh, I saw from a later post you're reading Harry Potter?! Yay! Enjoy. How many have you read so far?
No, I don't believe we have. *waves* I'm Lia.
Ok, Lia it is. You can call me whatever you want.. I don't have too many nicknames. How's life? I like your avie.
You know what's funny? When you put your music on shuffle and you get the acoustic version of Relient K's "Which To Bury; Us or The Hatchet?" and then right after that, you get the non-acoustic version of the same song. Makes me chuckle. I'm easily amused.
You know what's creepy, is that exactly the same thing happened to me, like, a week ago? I can't stand the acoustic version, so I clicked on, and it got the better one for me. lol. I suppose that makes me.. easily pleased.
*waves to Star and AC*
Did someone mention NaNo editing? *runs in corner and covers ear* Don't remind me!
*waves* *raises hand guiltily* that would be me. I don't exactly want to be reminded either, but we do have a deadline, remember? I still really want to get that copy.. but I don't know if I'll be able to satisfy myself.
With that, I'm off to enjoy my weekend! Have a good mortereve, everyone.

There's nothing really to say about being happy, though. I journal about not having anything to journal about, sometimes. Speaking of that.. I've barely written all week, because I've been so tired by the time I've gotten to bed, I just sleep. And it never seems to occur to me to write at another time of day.
Haha, yes!!! That sounds like me! Haha. I haven't written since, like, January. But I copied down something that I wrote on Feb. 1... When I write next I'll probably write about my birthday or something... That's the only exciting thing in the past week or so.

Good Mortereve everyone! I've missed the Square and all its Onions. I don't remember the last time I posted in here. Oh dear. I'll come back and try to find my last post later (hopefully [maybe]). So, how is everyone? I survived my first statistics test (barely) last week in between weather delays at school. It's still freezing cold outside even though it hasn't snowed for a week now. Right now, I'm looking forward to the Father-Daughter Dance at church tomorrow. I love dressing up. Other than that, the only thing going on is school. And more school. And even more school. I can't wait til graduation.....although I'll probably be going to summer school too so I can get ahead before school starts in the fall so I can get my Bachelors in two years......anyhow....
That was a lot more random and rambly than usual. I'll try to come back fairly soon so I don't get behind again. I miss talking with everyone.
*exits the Square in a more normal fashion than her entrance*
*won't even attempt to read all that she's missed*
I can't really stay, but I wanted to pop in and let you all know I'm not dead.
I miss you guys, but see some of you in chat... so it's all good.
Anyway, I'd been sick recently but feel much better now. (other than being really tired now, and my asthma causing trouble, I feel totally fine)
My writing is really exploding right now. As in, really crazily. New ideas for old things are hitting me right and left. New ideas for related new stuff coming out of the clear blue! That sorta thing. Been keeping me pretty busy.
Ummm..... what else is there? I'm pulling a blank. Sorry. *shrugs* Guess I'll have to stop in later, if I can think of it. Hope you all are doing well!
Time for a quick catchup post before I head off to bed.
Hmm. I like that word, Ruby. Glomp. It sounds funny. I think I will adopt it as one of my favorite words. (Aren't words fun?) I don't know if I would be brave enough to glomp someone in real life, but it sounds cool anyway.
Oh my, I'm not very good at skating either. If only you could see me try! After wobbling about for half an hour or so, I can usually get around and stay up on my feet all right. But I still haven't learned how to stop. I guess that just adds extra excitement to the adventure! (But it sure makes it more scary.) That is so neat about your mom taking figure skating in high school. I always thought that would be a fun thing to learn. I've never done anything like that - dancing, ice skating, gymnastics.... I've done some music, but nothing in the area of sports.
Yes, there seems to be several colds and flues going around the school lately. (Though I guess there's always something, isn't there?) I struggle with math as it is, so it's always rough for me when I have to miss a week of assignments and tests. I just seem to fall farther and farther behind rather then make any progress.
I just finished The Sorcerer's Stone tonight! Yet another one of Rowling's plot twists was thrown into the ending. (I actually never read the books; I listened to them over audiobooks, which is what I am doing this second time. Have you heard of them? They're read by Jim Dale, and they are excellent! I recommend them to anyone who enjoys audiobooks... even remotely.) Ooh. And I'm glad you enjoyed Prisoner of Azkaban! I love that book. There were so many plot twists. (Not that that's unusual for Rowling... lol.) I think my two favorite scenes were when
No, I haven't heard of Regina Doman's books. How many books are in the series? I should check them out, maybe during spring break when my schedule relaxes a bit.
You know what's funny? When you put your music on shuffle and you get the acoustic version of Relient K's "Which To Bury; Us or The Hatchet?" and then right after that, you get the non-acoustic version of the same song. Makes me chuckle. I'm easily amused.
Ha, yes! I've had that happen before. I love my iPod shuffle.
Lol! Well, according to Wiktionary, glomp means "to embrace enthusiastically; to pounce on and hug, often from a running start". Could be painful, I suppose.
Hm, interesting. Well, I learned something today! I didn't even know glomp was a word.
Yeah, a non-functioning air conditioner isn't very much fun, either. I'd have to agree with you: I would much rather have the heater stop working then the air conditioner. Hot weather and I don't usually go well together.
What a privilege, Cor! I feel most honored.
Maybe we should chain the chocolate tree down to the ground somehow. So there isn't even the remotest temptation to steal it, you know?
Congratulations, AC, on finishing your project! That feeling is always so wonderful. AND, hurray for the long weekend! Wow! No wonder you're feeling so happy.

Good Mortereve all! And how are all my fellow Square Onions doing this fine day? I say fine for of course it is fine, for it is February 11 and 17 years ago this very day I was born into the world! So how could it be anything but fine?
Well Miss Rose looks like I will be doing a bit of catchup after all (since there was only a little and I had some time on my hands)...
Ben: Yeah, we actually saw How To Train Your Dragon in theaters in 3D. It was the best 3D movie I've seen actually (but I haven't seen many at all) and the whole family enjoyed it.
That is cool! I have watched it twice since I was in the Square last. I enjoyed it a lot, though I wish I could have seen it in theaters and in 3D.
Oh my goodness, that sounds like the loveliest, most awesome way I've ever heard of to get a stiff neck. OK, I am so adding "take a nap in a tree" to my list of things I want to do before I die.

Hello all!! I don't like being away from home (and computers) for entire day's at a time, so it's good to be home. A friend is coming over here today (oh, you mean I should start cleaning up our filthy house? ), and rehearsal tonight.

Hello, Ruby! School is going pretty well - I have an average of A in my math tests, though I'm not very good, so that's encouraging. Oh, that's okay - I'm in 8th grade this year. haha - poor you!
Yup, I can relate to that. I supposes the movies could have done with a little less violence, but they're not too bad.
Well, I enjoy watching him. Have you ever seen him in anything else?
Yup, it's a matter of opinion, although it seems like most people I know like Up, but not WALL•E.
I totally agree - I won't enjoy the violence and stuff, but it won't scar me or anything (lol) and I'll love the movies. I'm certain.
Oh, let me see . . agh, I can't think of anything else, though I think I probably have.
Hmm. Well - I do think Pixar does a great job every time. You can tell that by the money they make!
@ Elanor. Aww, sorry to hear that you've been down. Hope you're doing a lot better now.
I'm afraid I'm not a football fan, sorry! I do enjoy watching some sports though: baseball, figure skating, gymnastics... and that's about it.
Aw - thank you so much! Mood swings - some day's I feel like life is not worth it, and I'm really depressed, and the next day I'm perfectly happy and content. I guess that's natural.
You don't know what you're missing! but I like figure skating loads (go Evan Lysacek!) and baseball too.
I'm doing quite well, thanks! School and Life are kind of busy at present but overall everything is going well. We keep getting cold spells down here and the threat of winter storms, which is something a little odd for us.
I'm glad things are going well!
Oh yes, quite. I even ordered the soundtrack a few weeks ago. Thanks! I really like as well.
Haha - that's awesome!
*waves* *raises hand guiltily* that would be me. I don't exactly want to be reminded either, but we do have a deadline, remember? I still really want to get that copy.. but I don't know if I'll be able to satisfy myself.
How well I know - but it's what I want to forget! Agh . . I really need to start editing. I have to be done by then, I'll be awfully ashamed of myself if I don't! Good luck!
*waves to Queen Susan* Our PM's get shorter and shorter don't they?
*phew* Now that's done!!

Hey ho!
Back to page 61 ...
One of my favorite fantasies is to go hiking on the fields and hills and mountains of the clouds.
May I join you?
*waves* Hello! I don't think I've officially met you, but if feels like I know you quite well. So I'm very pleased to make your acquaintance.
And likewise, Elanor. It's great to have you and your sister here on NarniaWeb. Btw, how is she doing? I've missed her lately. I hope she is healing well.
Oooh, thank you, Vern, for lighting that fire. *rubs her hands together close to the embers on this cold, invigorating, wintery day*
*offers Vern a lovely plate of cheese and crackers* And lookee that, it's even labeled in case there is any doubt.
Believe it or not, Lady A is currently working on a dragon etiquette book with my great aunt, Jules. It should be an interesting read.... if they ever finish it.
Well, well. Do let me know if when this will be published. Ahem.
Yes, Vern and I are trying to keep them in-line. It's a full time job, you know
I didn't realize the King and Lady required such attentive care.
Louise! It's marvelous to see another familiar face and that maroon post of yours.
And you too, dear middle-namesake, along with your green font.
Yes, it was, although it's Aiden.
Wups. AidEn. The one person we know in offline life by that name uses two a's, so hence my mix-up. Heehee, I just thought of something: instead of Lucy Maud Montgomery's "Anne with an 'e'", you can be "Aiden with an 'e'".
Every few days we get several inches. But I love it! It's also quite cold which, aside from the fact that it prevents us from getting "snowball" snow, is very fun! It got down to -4°F last night, and I spent a while outside enjoying it.
Ditto. DiTtO. DITTO!
You know, I was thinking, NN, if you ever changed your avvy and sig, that would be nigh catastrophic!
Aravanna! I've been thinking about you on your trip to Kentucky, and praying that you will know God's guidance as you job hunt! Ooh, business cards too, eh? Niiiice!
I join others in saying how lovely your avvy and sig are. They make me want to walk into that peaceful scene, as Mary Poppins and crew managed with Bert's chalk paintings.
So, I received my Cloud Appreciation Society diploma in the mail, and a button which I have proudly pinned on my purse.
p_o_n! Great to see you. And how cool you and sweeet could work on a film together!
Silver the Wanderer, loving the unique cake creations you've been posting.
At first I was excited about all the snow days, but now I'm getting a little stir-crazy.
I can't imagine how you'd handle living up here then. But then, Epicness can handle almost anything, oui?
Lots of snow, some ice, much cold ... a gorgeous winter!
Sozy clippers and dweet sreams to all.
Now, that brings mack bemories.
Mom has actually talked about doing just that (carrying off the chocolate tree).
Well, well, this wee hobbit just may have to have a word with the Lady of Archenland. Such travesty. I did not think she'd stoop so low. ( )
*waves to all who she hasn't specifically mentioned in this post*
And now, in celebration a very special day, we raise a toast to Benjamin, in this occasion of his birthday! Apparently this really is a ... cake! Or ... here's a fun one.
