Heehee, he is cute!
Ok, Riella, I am really having trouble deciding whose side to join...what is this battle about? Perhaps there could be peace? *doubts that*

^^ haha, if there was peace then there would be no RP.
Apparently one side insulted the other side, and now they are fighting. But no one knows which side started it. Everyone will claim the other side did it.
Think about this, Lu... RPs are for fun... Which side will you have the most fun writing?

Oh!!! *begins to doubt her decision to join with Lady A*
AAAAARGGHH! You've almost got me, Riella! What do I do???
*sigh* I think I already know...

*sighs* Ok, you win.
I must inform Lady A. of my resignation...

I have returned.
I'm afraid I'm not really replying to all the comments (unless something really "important" comes into my head") but mostly just to the questions... because I want to get school done this morning.
Ben: Yeah, we actually saw How To Train Your Dragon in theaters in 3D. It was the best 3D movie I've seen actually (but I haven't seen many at all) and the whole family enjoyed it.
MountainFireFlower: Haha! That one was pretty funny. It's just so-- him. Haha!
I'm doing well, and you? Finished a few sewing projects lately (yay!) and my birthday is in a week or two and my sister is expecting a baby in April and today I have piano lessons, and yeah. You?
Aravanna: Ah yes! I really like that version of In Christ Alone by Owl City.
I guess small arguments are usually the best, though. They blow over quickly.
Haha, yes! We felt kind of stupid and lousy about arguing, but were sort of laughing at it a few minutes later. I can't remember ever having huge arguments or anything with family members; so I'm grateful for that.
And thank you for your encouragement/care.
I would totally die if that happened to me. It's definitely too personal. I think/hope I can trust my parents not to read it, though.
I think moving gets worse as you get older. I never used to mind, or at least, I accepted it as part of life. But now.. not looking forward to it so much.
How are you?
Yeah, me too. I don't know if I'd let anyone read my journal. I've read parts of my old journals to people to laugh at them (but I skip certain pages sometimes)
So yeah. My journal nowadays-- bad news if anyone read it. Haha. At least, IMO.
Yeah, I can imagine. We moved when I was 10 or 11 and I didn't mind so much. Now I'm super glad we moved. But if we moved now it'd be the end of the world almost.
[*feels like an over-dramatic teen... Ugh*]
Doing well! And you? Yeah, I never really pictured you as a Japanese person, but I never really thought too hard about it. :/
And... the end...

Wow, I've been gone a while. There is no way I'm going to get caught up on everything since about page 34 to wherever this thread is now. I did go back and find a question I haven't answered.
They do seem a tad unrealistic or at least many do. I haven't read many biographies but I do like fantasy.
I really like fantasy too. Have you ever read anything by Diana Wynne Jones?
No, I haven't is her stuff good?
I mentioned I was worried about not talking at the Lion Party. I didn't need to. We found plenty to talk about. I wrote a detailed review of it in the thread about how Lion Parties went. My Wal-Mart schedule has finally settled down.
I don't have anything else interesting to say so I guess I'll go.

Sorry I've been kind of quiet lately; I've been rather preoccupied making crazy roleplays even crazier. I hope everyone's January was a good one!
Not sure how I missed this. . . .
Hm. I notice that there has been some conversation about journals? I used to keep one, but burned it after my parents read it. I regret that somewhat, as a diary is something I was hoping to keep to look back on in later years. But then again, it was too personal for other eyes. Anyway.
Oh, yikes. I can see why you burned it, I would have probably done the same thing! Writing in my journal is the only time when I really let my guard down, and it would drive my crazy if somebody else read my ramblings.
Heh, I hope nobody ever snoops in my journal Word document, because I hardly want to set fire to my laptop. Not while it's still behaving itself, anyway.
It's such an amazing movie!! Have you read the book? It's also amazing, and you have to be good at being able to watch a movie adaption that isn't at all like the book, and still appreciating it, to appreciate it. It is a bit odd. I agree. And the music is amazing! And I fell completely in love with Christian Bale's voice.
He does have a rather nice voice, doesn't he. I was surprised at how much I liked the film, too, because it's so different from the book, and I love the book. Movie!Howl doesn't measure up to Book!Howl for me—I didn't think he was whiny and immature enough. Too suave. And I missed some of the subplots from the book, like Michael and Martha, and was frustrated that they cut some of the characters, but all in all it's a very nice film.
*Believe it or not, Lady A is currently working on a dragon etiquette book with my great aunt, Jules. It should be an interesting read.... if they ever finish it. *cough* *
I'll have to poke Lady A about that.
*reads the overview of Brave* Huh, sounds like it should be a good little film. Of course it's Pixar and they have only made one overblown film, so.... Looking forward to it.
Which one did you think was overblown? *Is curious if it's the same one she thinks is overblown*
*is slightly stunned at miss Dryad's very long post* Wow....
It scares me, too.
I hope your upcoming move goes really well, Aslans Country. I've lived in the same city all my life, and we're contemplating moving to the country or the coast, which I would love, but it's still about as scary and intimidating to me as moving to the other side of the world.
Hmm, by the way, what do you think about the nickname Lana, or Lani? Aslans Country. . . geddit? Don't mind me, I love trying to find nicknames in people's usernames.
So back on the Sunday before yesterday's Sunday, I went with two of my sisters and one of my brothers to Louisiana again. We had a fun time of there as usual and I got to sleep in a tree! They have the tree that has song pretty weird limbs that inter-twine and the limbs make a little place for someone to lay. So I decided to sleep there a night and I did
Oh my goodness, that sounds like the loveliest, most awesome way I've ever heard of to get a stiff neck. OK, I am so adding "take a nap in a tree" to my list of things I want to do before I die.
Elizabeth it is, then!
Ha, in the seven or so years I've been active on the internet, very few people have ever agreed to calling me by my full name (something about nine letters being too much to type), so that's almost exciting.
Thank you! As are yours! They make me want to wander around a rose garden all afternoon. Not that a rose garden would be very pleasant this time of year. All thorns and no flowers.
Oh, thank you! I took a long time finding my avatar and signature before I joined, so I think that's one of the reasons why I'm loath to ever change them. They're actually from an oil painting called In the Rose Garden by Henry John Yeend King. Someday I want to own a print of it.
And Rose, The Villain-to-Be, I hope you ready to begin the battle once more...
I wouldn't miss it for the world.
(And no, using the evil laughter smiley once in a blue moon does not make me a spoiled rotten minion. )
^^ Oh, I was just asking Shadowlander some questions one day, when I realized that the little bug held the secrets of the Universe. I put him next to my signature to remind myself and others that there are things out there we do not yet understand, and must seek out if we ever hope to achieve peace. *dramatic music*
Plus he's a lil cutie. XD
Wow.
*Waves to Queen Susan, her fellow Defender of Beards* Maybe we should start a club for that!
*waves to Rose* Hi, Rose! Are you sure you don't want to join Booky and take part in the buffet?
Quite sure, thank you.

No, I haven't is her stuff good?
I know this wasn't addressed to me, but I enjoyed quite a few of her books when I was younger and would love to put my two cents in. The Chronicles of Chrestomanci are very good (the first four, anyway—haven't read the newest two yet), and Howl's Moving Castle is wonderful. I never get tired of rereading it.
"So, how is everybody? An alarming but of news has come my way that there is a war going on! The War of the Overdomes, they call it. Though I know not why they fight..."
It is but a reflection of the great war that has been waged since the dawn of Time! The struggle between light and dark! The battle of Good and Evil!
. . . Ahem.
Libby, I really don't know how you do it! I'm glad you're enjoying the film so much, even though I didn't like it as much as I'd hoped.
Well, I think that's everything! Back to studying. Have a lovely day, everyone!
Hello?
*echo returns*
Hello--*cough, cough* I mean, mortereve.
*looks around for some familar faces* Ahh, there you are NN. Do you remember me?
*waves to her bro*
Well, well. *dusts off her little bench and sits down* I haven't been here in the longest time. Actually since my prom, I believe, which was in...April. Wow.
Anyhow, I decided it was time I stopped in a visited with you all.
*a mug pops out of thin air* Thanks, coffee would be good.
Since April a lot has happened. I turned a year older...duh... The summer was filled with all things good--vacations, sunshine, shopping, parties, and my favorite part, work. Mhm, you heard that right--work. I was able to work on an independent movie as crew. It's called Beyond Acceptance and you can find more information on the website http://www.goldenvisionfilms.com. It was the best thing I have ever done and I'm am looking for more opportunities to work on film productions this summer and in the future.
Fall came around (way too fast) and I started my senior year. Another thing I started was the second draft of Maralyn my first novel. I was able to finish it with the help of NaNo though I did not participate fully.
Then big changes came. Very recently I moved away from Michigan, to another state (still not saying). I despretely miss all my friends I made, but hey, that's what facebook is for. I am carving out a new niche for myself here.
To help me cope with the move (and also to keep my promises to my faithul readers) I have just finished outlining the sequel to Maralyn--June. I just started writing today! I'm so excited about getting to know my characters again and begin to write their story. If you would like to read the book as I write it, I post chapters on my blog http://sunriseoflifeseries.wordpress.com/
Well, I had better go. Still more boxes to unpack.
*wave fondly at the Square as she leaves*
EDIT: Oh, and I forgot to add, I was able to direct a short film with sweeetlilgurlie. We had a blast!

The work you've done in writing sounds exciting!

Good mortereve, all! We have a blizzard blowing in at last, and I am finally going to receive my much-deserved snow day. They have closed school for tomorrow already - I think that's a first!
Speaking of LotR, Lu, I just re-watched all three of the movies this past week. I had forgotten how fantastic they are! Which is your favorite? Fellowship of the Ring holds the top spot for me (I love the opening), though I suppose Return of the King does too, in a way. The ending gives me the chills every time.
Well, I haven't read the books either. I need to!
I've never been downhill skiing before, Elanor. I suppose that could make a crash more, uh, serious. It's probably a good thing I've only done cross country. I'm bad at stopping and steering, so it can be problematic going down hills.
Hurray for snow, Nick! We're getting a blizzard here at the moment, and it's a big one. I don't think we've had a storm like this in awhile. I assume you guys are probably getting a bit of it as well. Several of my friends went up north for a weekend, and it ended up being -29º on Saturday night. Perfect for a fire and hot chocolate!
I read earlier in your post that you didn't particularly enjoy Up. Really? How come? I'm just curious, because I never liked it much either. I never understood why it was so popular, but oh well.
Hey, PP! It's good to see you around.
I'm glad to hear that you started up writing again, PoN. And how exciting that you were able to work on a film crew! That must have been an amazing experience.
Hope you're able to adjust to the new house and friends without too much trouble. I can imagine that would be hard.
