Good mortereve! Hope everyone is having a good day!
Well, it's been a ridiculously busy week.. I had exams, and managed to not get sick during them. I have a feeling it's hitting me now, though. I'm not feeling so well. Aand.. I need to finish this hugely important report for school this week, and I can't do that if I'm getting flu. Ahh... *insert stress here*
Anyway. Time for this catchup I've neglected.
Hm. I notice that there has been some conversation about journals? I used to keep one, but burned it after my parents read it. I regret that somewhat, as a diary is something I was hoping to keep to look back on in later years. But then again, it was too personal for other eyes. Anyway.
..Wow. That's a shame. I would totally die if that happened to me. It's definitely too personal. I think/hope I can trust my parents not to read it, though.
Are your parents missionaries to Japan as well, AC, or is that where you are from? That's too bad about having to move to the UK. I've never moved, but I can imagine how hard it would be.
Yeah, they're British. *wonders if people around here think she's actually Japanese* I think moving gets worse as you get older. I never used to mind, or at least, I accepted it as part of life. But now.. not looking forward to it so much.
So- who else is thrilled that ELIJAH WOOD IS COMING BACK AS FRODO IN THE HOBBIT!!! I AM THRILLED!
He is? That's.. strange. I hope they don't make his part too big, although it'd be nice to see him.
*waves to Ben, Kathy and Aunty Jo*
*waves back*
*waves to AC* Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaand, how've you been?
*waves back* Aaaaaaaaaand I am doing well, thank you. At least, I'm on the verge of catching flu, and am super busy at school, but apart from that.. Things should slow down around the end of February. How are you?
I definitely agree on it helping work out thoughts. I've found it great for that already, although sometimes the self-analysis can be troublesome. Thus far I've just been keeping a short record of anything interesting that happens each day, and then let myself prattle on about whatever's on my mind for a few paragraphs, and so far I'm getting on splendidly. Heehee, thanks for the encouragement!
True. Well, anyway, I'm glad it's going well.
I feel the need to warn y'all now... there will be ketchup at the end of this post. Quick! Quick! Scroll down! Scroll past!
No, no. You're supposed to scroll down further. Stop reading, I say. There's no need to indulge in that tomato fabulosity, that puree and sugar, the grace of hamburgers...
I enjoyed this post. Thanks for the entertainment.
Well you should get another, they are so much fun. I just started practicing juggling on it, and am getting it down some.
Wow, cool! I don't think I could ever juggle and unicycle (is that a verb? ) at the same time. After all, I'm not even sure I can ride a unicycle anymore.
All of them, lol Lets see: The Time is Now (Heaven & Earth) , is great, After Your Heart (Cannons). Pretty much any of them will be excellent
Okay, thanks.
I know, it made me laugh too! I was just randomly thinking about it, knowing that you might want to be called something other than AC, and Aslee came to mind. So Aslee it is. I'm glad you like it.
I almost didn't see my name there. I'll get used to it.
Yeah, I actually have to be in a specific mood to listen to TLDMRBTD, where as with FSASYA, and Mmhmm, I can listen to them pretty much at any time. Mmhmm was the first one I ever bought and it's remained my favorite for pretty much forever, followed closely by FSASYA (they have the longest album titles ever!). I think I like their rock-ish type songs a lot.
FSAFYA and MMHMM are really what I think of when I think of RK, actually. But all their songs make me smile. Except maybe F&NSD. Yeah, I know. What is it with the long album titles?
Hey, random - do you like Switchfoot at all? I just bought 2 of their CDs..
Ooh, ooh, and in other music news - Owl City's new album is called "All Things Bright and Beautiful", and it's coming out sometime in spring! *drifts off into happy-world*
Oh, good. Once you build the callouses, it's pretty easy to handle. Although, I've stopped playing for months at a time, and then I have to build the callouses all over again.
Pssst... I can't do bar chords either. I've been playing for about two years and my hands still can't handle them. I've found some cheater versions for bar chords, specifically F and B, so I don't mind if it takes me a little while to learn them. If you ever need song recommendations to play, let me know - we seem to have similar taste in music, and I've collected a lot of chords for songs over the years...
Haha, uh, well. It depends on the day. I can obsess over really stupid things. I guess that comes with being human, but I'm really not immune to the teen girl fandoms sweeping the nation.
Ahh, I haven't played for, like, a week. I can feel my fingertips getting softer.
Oh, really? Noooo.. that doesn't exactly give me much hope. Oh, is that where you use only 4 of the strings? I think my mum might have showed them to me, but I didn't bother, because I still had to press down 2 strings with one finger. I probably should, though, if bar chords will take me that long to look.
Oh, please! It gets so boring just playing random stuff. What should I play?
Well, yeah. That's true. Neither am I, for that matter. Just occasionally very bored with them.
Still no word on that, but we'll see. Thanks, I hope I get to go too, but God has a plan.
Oh wow, I wondered if your parents were missionaries. How do you like it? I'm sorry you're going to have to move, I'll be praying for you.
Oh, awesome. I got some clothes, both Tenth Avenue North CDs, Relient K's FSASYA, and a new mp3 player. So it was a blessed Christmas.
I hope so!
Hmm, well, it's been my whole life, so.. I'm so glad I've been able to grow up in Japan, as opposed to the UK. And international school these past few years has been so much fun. I really love Japan.. but it's not my home, and neither is the UK, so that's kind of tough, but I live with it. Maybe I'll become more 'British' when I go over there. Anyway, enough rambling. Thanks! I hope these next 6 months will leave good memories.
Cool.
(Oh! And one quick question. If I were to start a Pixar club on NarniaWeb, would anyone want to join? )
Sure! Of course, you'd have to school me on all those that I haven't watched, first.
I think I'm about done.. again, good mortereve, everyone.

Lu, you crack me up with your Elijah Wood fanaticism. And, in answer to your questions, back on page 59, I'm not 100% certain whether I like Narnia or LOTR better. Movie-wise, definitely LOTR. As for the the general story, however, I really do enjoy them both.
Uh... no, I really don't think Elijah Wood would make a good Rilian. Too many people would be seeing Frodo Baggins instead of Prince Rilian.
I can't decide on one favorite Narnia character, but Sam definitely wins for LOTR. I think you already knew that though.
Can't help myself, really. Yeah...*sighs and gives up the idea of EW as Rilian* The fact that he's in Hobbit helps a bit* Yeah, Rilian needs to be another guy, I admit it . But he could have a cameo... And I might just squeal- at least inside.
Sam is cool. He had this extra part (saw it on a behind-the-scenes dvd of FotR) where he says "The greatest fireworks ever seen, they burst in rockets of blue and green" and it's like "her's book Sam!" which is cool. Though I haven't read them all as everyone here knows...
*runs off, fantasizing about The Hobbit*
Oh, yeah!
So- who else is thrilled that ELIJAH WOOD IS COMING BACK AS FRODO IN THE HOBBIT!!! I AM THRILLED!
He is? That's.. strange. I hope they don't make his part too big, although it'd be nice to see him.
Yeah, he can't have too big of a part or that'd kind of mess things up... But it's be cool if we see him as

Hello all!!
*returns the wave* How are things going you?
Quite well, as well as could possibly be expected - I suppose. I've been a bit depressed for quite awhile, and kind of lonely. But at least I laughed hysterically, not long ago. That was refreshing. And I really enjoyed today's Packers game . . especially since they won - do you watch Football at all?
*feels sorry for Cor having that long reply after an innocent question* How are you doing?
You really have discovered a liking for HTTYD, haven't you? Love your avvie!
I hope your sister feels better, Elanor! I've never broken any bone before, much less my collar bone, but I can imagine how painful it must be. I've had several skiing accidents myself... the majority of which involved trees. Were you guys downhill or cross-country skiing?
Thank you! She's doing a lot better! lol, no one in all our family of seven has ever broken any bone, so this was exciting. It was downhill, and hers heavily involved a tree as well . .
Okay - I guess there wasn't as much as I thought. Have a goodnight everyone!!

Ello Peoples of the Square (and those not of the Square (which equals zero peoples) but decided to fly on the wings of the dawn).
So back on the Sunday before yesterday's Sunday, I went with two of my sisters and one of my brothers to Louisiana again. We had a fun time of there as usual and I got to sleep in a tree! They have the tree that has song pretty weird limbs that inter-twine and the limbs make a little place for someone to lay. So I decided to sleep there a night and I did
Then we came back home on Wednesday, and so here I am, home.
Well how bout some ketchup?
Quite easily. If that does not look like it's possible, you can abstain. That's my strategy in life.
lol. As long as they are not major injuries I don't mind getting them, so I just play anyway
Hey Cep! How is it going?
I also suspect shoes would help. Granted, I like going barefoot so I won't give you too hard of a time... only what part of the country are you from? It's WAY too cold for that in the Midwest right now for bare feet.
Yeah I guess they would but I go without because I can run so much faster barefooted, but as I said I may get some cleats for the next game.
I am in Florida, but that night it was pretty cold especially with the wind chill. My feet started to get numb and it was getting harder to run and that was when I was stepped on (more like trampled ) . But I still finished out the game.
In other news, OWL CITY DOES CHRISTIAN SONGS!!!! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bGeBY4tw_vA&feature=related I did not know that and it makes me happy.
I was very happy as well when I found this on his blog.
*waves to Benjamin * Good to see you around again! And I love Tenth Avenue North's song On and On, by the way.
*waves back* Thanks
It is such a great song!
That's good. I'm well enough. What have you been up to lately, anything interesting?
Well I went to Louisiana the Sunday before last and we stayed till Wednesday. It was pretty fun.
Heh, that's kind of an interesting story. Back when narnialover101 frequented the Square, I didn't really have any nicknames, and I had said that he could call me anything he wanted. Well, he liked the name Aiden, so he decided to call me that, and it stuck! I've been called that ever since.
Oh that is cool.
*waves to Aunt Jo*
Wow, cool! I don't think I could ever juggle and unicycle (is that a verb? ) at the same time. After all, I'm not even sure I can ride a unicycle anymore.
If you practiced you could (lol I don't know )
It might take a little to get you back into the 'groove', but you probably could do it pretty easily.
That looks to be about all for now
I will be seeing you all around!

Mortereve all!
I know - it's really sad, and I'd really like to see them. I have the feeling they'd be my favorite movies. haha, of course.
Oh, awesome! I love the NT movies, despite any criticism I hear (:P) and I also love all of Pixar. Have you seen Toy Story 3, and Up? They're my favorite animated kids movies.
haha - everyone is mentioning the BBC Robin Hood, or something else that has to do with Richard Armitage. What a coincidence . .
Sorry - just watched my new fave movie, North and South. Yow!! It's amazing!!
And I love Prince Caspian, Taking Chance, Ever After, Howls Moving Castle . . P&P (the new one), S&S, War and Peace, the one's I mentioned above . . . yeah.
Yeah, I'm sure you'd love them.
What criticism of NT have you heard? Yes, I've seen Toy Story 3 and Up. I didn't really like Up that much, but Toy Story 3 was good. My favorite Pixar movies are The Incredibles and Ratatouille.
Yes, it seems like almost everyone on NarniaWeb enjoys Robin Hood!
As far as the rest of the movies you mentioned, I've only seen Prince Caspian.
Oh yeah, it was nl101 who began the name "Aidan" for you, NN. I'd forgotten that. I miss Robby here. Ah, people come; people go, as a well-loved NWebber reminds us.
Yes, it was, although it's Aiden. Yeah, there are a lot of "oldies" we miss around here. But, it's also great to see all the new faces!
A lot of people on here call me Rose, as well as Dryad and RTD. Tree seems to be catching on a little in NW Chat. Oh, and my real name is Elizabeth, which probably has a thousand nicknames and variants, and I'll answer to nearly all of them excepting Liz or Lizzie. No running out of nicknames for me.
Elizabeth it is, then!
Meh. Keeping busy with school. What about you? Have you been getting any more snow lately?
Ah, same here! Ha, have we been getting snow?! Every few days we get several inches. But I love it! It's also quite cold which, aside from the fact that it prevents us from getting "snowball" snow, is very fun! It got down to -4°F last night, and I spent a while outside enjoying it.
Well, have a wonderful mortereve all!

So which movie was the best? Me, the original was, but right now VDT is SO Much more exciting! PC is good too, but it is not as good as the first one. Time will tell if I like it or VDT more, but I daresay that- at least for a while- VDT will pull rank.

[/geek (or is it nerd?) rant]
Well I enjoyed it. I don’t know much about history period and find it really interesting. (Somehow it was boring in school… lots of memorization and concepts and precious few of the details that make a good story.)
By the by, I can’t tell what you’re new avatar is, although it looks like it might be Eric from “The Little Mermaid.”
Yep, I call NarniaNut95 Aiden… it just works.
Thanks so much!! Yours is gorgeous too! Where did you get it?
You’re welcome! Well, my real name is Anna, and I just wanted to add something to it to make it more fairytaleish so after messing around it ended up being Aravanna.
Sliver, love the square cupcakes.
Aravanna: hi! I think I remember you! how are you? have you seen VotDT yet? if so, how did you like it? I love it so much!
I’m good! Heading to Louisville Kentucky this week with the KSU Horticulture Club so that will be a bit of an adventure… hopefully I’ll meet people there who want to give me a job. How about yourself? I don’t even know what year you are in school or anything.
I’ve seen VotDT just once. I enjoyed the very end with Aslan and most of the bits with Eustace. We’ll leave it at that.
Once in awhile, clouds are exceptionally cool at night, though, especially when the moon is reaching full. The light it casts in amongst the clouds can be eerily gorgeous
*love* Good to see you in the Town Square too Jo!
Who’s talking about great blue herons? Can I join? Aren’t they amazing?
*Waves to Aravanna* Your avatar and signature are so pretty!!
Thank you! As are yours! They make me want to wander around a rose garden all afternoon. Not that a rose garden would be very pleasant this time of year. All thorns and no flowers.
@ Ara. Gah!!!!! I missed Ara stopping by??? blast.... Well, if you read this later... Hello old friend! Long time, no see.
Well, I’ve graduated from college but have no job as of yet so I can come pester you all again. It’s about the most useful thing I do these days… although today I made business cards for my voyage to Louisville. They came out okay. I’ll probably go back and tweak them again when I use this stack up.
How are you enjoying college? I loved it and I’m a bit sad it’s over. (And I love your avatar. Good movie!)
Ara! It's lovely to see you!
And you! It’s been too long.
And being in Florida helps Ben. It’s the warmest part of the country.
We might be able to see him as
Spoilera kid, remember Bilbo was 111 and Frodo was 33, so if you subtract that it's 88 years apart, and Bilbo was 50 on the trip, so Frodo was born 38 years later Well, 37 years after Bilbo came back...wow, we could definitely see him as a kid!! Might even flash waaay forward to when Rosie and Sam and Elanor and baby Frodo are there?? Maybe not, but I can dream. Or, Riella, Pipiamond??
Haha, I doubt Elijah Wood's cameo will be to play frodo as a baby. PJ's people are good with make-up, but not that good. (And yes, I know that isn't really what you meant )
And Pippiamond? I wish! I don't think Billy Boyd is going to be in it... It doesn't seem to likely since Sean and Dom won't be. After all, why would they just bring Pip back if not the others? Plus, I doubt that Peter Jackson would do a flash forward in The Hobbit. There doesn't seem to be much purpose for it, no matter how awesome it would be. The Hobbit is supposed to be a prequel, not a sequel.
Unless the story starts with Bilbo telling the story to our favorite Hobbits' children... Hmm....

^^ Heehee, yeah I doubt that EW could look that young. So has nothing been said yet, or has it been released that SA and DM will not be returning? BB really needs to, at least one funny "haha! look! their's PIPPIN!" moment of him running by laughing or something akin to the "Jill Pole" line in VDT. (which was controversial, but I liked it )
(excuse the initials... )

^^ yes, I am afraid that SA and DM have confirmed that they are not in the movie... It's only a matter of time before BB confirms this too, I am afraid...
I was just reading the old LoESRM posts... Eh, so many memories.
I am so thrilled that it is starting up again in Ditto Town. I've already joined Booky's side again as his faithful Silver-Tongued Speaker of Awesomeness.

Hello all!!
Still lots of rehearsals, and tonight is officially Dance Camp. That should be fun. And on Saturday, I'm going to lunch with two of my dearest friends, which I'm really excited about. I stumble through school, groaning and moaning but not doing too badly.
I'm sure I would love them - everyone tells me so. Just people need to start telling my parents that!
I've heard a lot of criticism of the two NT movies, especially about Nicholas Cage's acting, which I don't wholly disagree on. But I do like them a lot.
Both of those movies were my favorite when I watched them, so Toy Story 3 is my favorite animated movie now. Ooh, those are both really good too!
Yeah, most of the movies I mentioned are kind of obscure.
So which movie was the best?
Hard though this question may be, I had no trouble. Prince Caspian, most definitely. It's such an amazing movie, though VDT does come very close to it. And LWW was good, but not as good. IMO.
Well, my real name is Anna, and I just wanted to add something to it to make it more fairytaleish so after messing around it ended up being Aravanna.
That is so cool and creative! I love it when names have some meaning, and yours is perfect!
