War of the Overdoms: Battle at Lover's Lookout
Dot tried not to looks as frightened as she felt, but it was very hard to not feel frightened while hearing a bunch of screams and explosions. She cautiously activated her light sword again and slowly crept towards the door.

Vertex was utterly shocked that someone didn't know what his talents were. He was so famous it was rare that anyone didn't know who he was. But he was glad that Wolf didn't know. He finally had the opportunity to blend in with a group instead of stick out. "Do you have blueprints of the lab?" he asked. "I could go over them and determine the lab's weak spots. From there, we could figure out where the gremlins are most likely to strike and the best places for us to ambush them or defend ourselves from. I'm kind of good at that sort of thing," he added sheepishly.
"I'm afraid I don't know much," said Dotty. "I'm fairly good with a phaser, and I can defend myself if need be, but I'm not very knowledgeable about the technical side of things. I'm more of a backup person than a leader."

"Run!" Silvie's voice met Mountie's ears, and she had no choice but to obey as the Wanderer grabbed her hand and pulled her with her. "Wait, where are we going?" she questioned. Silvie didn't answer, but she didn't have to. Mountie saw for herself - mutant mutts. Tons of them. And they were staring... at her. They were in cages nonetheless, but they looked as if they were about to chew right through the cage bars.
"You're right, let's go!" Mountie said hurriedly, this time pulling Silvie with her. In Mountie's haste, she tripped over a cord stretched on the floor, which sent an alarm blaring through the loudspeakers. ♪ Who let the dogs out? Who, who, who, who? ♪ Mountie recognized it as a popular song she'd heard before.
She frowned. "I have the same question... who let the dogs--?" She stopped, looking behind her. A door had been opened in the cage bars, leaving nothing between her and the mutant mutts. She noticed that the cord had been rigged to unlocked the door... the same cord that Mountie had tripped over in her haste.
The alarm continued to blare - Who let the dogs out? - but Mountie no longer wondered why it was going off. She knew. She had let the dogs out. And the mutant mutts were no longer confined to the Labyrinth of DOOM, which meant that the occupants of the Tower were in for a shocking surprise.

War of the Overdomes: Battle at Lovers' Lookout
Lucy of Narnia jumps into the battle field, looks quickly around, then slinks into a corner to straighten up. Her quick running all the way from the town square has left her huffing and puffing. She catches her breath as she pulls the dark purple cape more neatly around her shoulders, smooths her crazy-hair back into place and pulls up the boot that has almost fallen off of her left foot during her run. Thus settled, she comes back out of her corner and faces her foes, no weapon in her hands.
"My tongue," she explains "Is my weapon. Dare anyone come forth? We shall have a story competition." Suddenly she realizes that this is no time for story competitions but rather, warfare. She pulls a sleek knife from her cloak which has, unfortunately, marred the silky lining of said cloak ans is rather dull and rusty. "Oh well." She throws it aside, squares her shoulders, and spread her legs apart in common military stance, with her hand raised to her forehead in salute. She stands stock-still for several moments, then wonders at her actions, as the dark lord- "Vader"- of the tower is not apparently within saluting distance. Shrugging, she lowers her hand just a bit so that it shades her eyes from the non-existent sun and searches the premises for any signs of "Lord Vader", Izzy or that dude with Little Jo in his avatar. Seeing no one, she sulks to her corner to wait.
"This battle is ours..." she mutters before falling asleep due to a too-much-chocolate-in-the-dark-tower coma.

Izzy took some weapons from the Weapons Vault, and left Dot to choose her own. Rushing to the Battlefiled, she decided to find her friend Lu. There was more of a chance of victory if the two of them fought together.

Silver pulled Mountie into an inconspicuous corner (for the kitten's sake, of course) and stood still, hardly daring to breathe as the mutant mutts raced by, barking and howling.
Evidently, they were too thrilled to be free of their cages to care much about hunting down the ones who had set them free. Their cries echoed through the halls, eventually dying away as the mutts ventured to other parts of the castle.
At last, Silver let out the breath she had been holding. "They're gone, I think. I hope they don't find Rose..."
The kitten growled after the mutts as if he believed he had scared them away.
Silver stared at his adorable, angry-looking face. "Aw Mountie, wherever did you find such a tiger?"

A hallway on the ground floor
((OOC: I love your drawings, Silver!!!)
Lady G remained at her position outside what she took to be the Tower's entrance hall. She was at a loss for what to do -- if anything -- about the two whom she presumed to be the Grand High Dark Overlord's minions. Who knew what they were doing? Some strange game she had never heard of, perhaps. And why was she interested in their game?
She retired deeper into the hallway -- where she still seemed to be utterly alone -- and pulled out her communicator. Now, exactly how did one use this thing with all the complicated looking buttons?
Press the on button, silly, she chided herself.
She did so and whispered into it, her eyes continuing to watch her surroundings as she did so (Nothing was going to sneak up on her!), "This is LG. I'm down on the main floor. Where is everyone else? I haven't seen a soul--friend or enemy--except for a huge wolf and some dude with a bandanna. They haven't seen me, but I've been watching them. I don't know what they're doing, some sort of staring game or something. Should I just go in and attack them?" It's war, after all. But I don't think it'd be a good idea to take both of them on at once. She didn't like to charge mindlessly into a battle where she would be out-matched, unless reinforcements were nearby or there was some urgent reason to attack the two now.
She fell silent and waited for an answer.

Joe sighed when his foe didn't respond, asuming that she was paralized by the stun setting on the blaster, he turned to Flow and said "like you could do better."
He strapped his blaster back onto his back and then pulled his Phazer pistol out of his belt holster "And the best way to take them out, is to take out their leader; we need to find out where the Evul Elf Lady is"
He then proceeded to pull out a Tricorder and began taking readings "She's in the Control room... With Pilot... Crud" Joe said, looking at Flow's communicator "We gotta move, and quick." he said, sprinting up the stairs.

Lu woke up from her coma and saw Izzy coming her way and waved wildly to her. Everyone knew where she was by now anyway, so her yelling didn't matter.
"Izzy! Izzy, I'm over here! It's me, Lu!" she jumped up and down as she yelled. She was hopeful that Izzy would have a weapon for her to use, as foresight was not the best of her minion-y skills and she had no weapon. After all, this was battle. She needed something, like maybe a sword or a bow and arrow...
"do you have anything I can use, Izzy?" she asked, arms outstretched hopefully.

Lia was still up in her tree. She had been there for some time. After a while she started to think that the battle was not going to come all the way out to her poor little tree. So she pulled out her communicator and plugged in Lady G's name. "Where are we supposed to be right now? Can I join up with you?" she asked in a whisper. Even though she couldn't see any of Booky's minions, she wasn't going to take any chances.

Lu thought she heard something and hurried over to the foot of a tall tree. Was something moving in the branches? A cape fluttering in the breeze, perhaps?
"Aha!" she murmured to herself. What news she had for Izzy!

A hallway on the ground floor
As Lady G stood in the hall, she listened to the sounds of the Tower -- ominous MWAHAHAHAHAing, disconcerting beeping, and both ominous and disconcerting howling.
And so she was very relieved to hear a friendly voice coming through the communicator. She answered immediately: "Lia, I'm on the ground floor of the Tower -- near what I think is the main entrance hall. I don't know where everyone else is -- I'm pretty sure a lot of them are in the tower too, but I haven't seen or heard anything from any of them. I'd love to have somebody with me -- I think two people together would be safer than one. Where are you?"
As she waited for the answer, she turned the communicator down low and returned to where she had been spying on the wolf and guy-with-a-bandanna.
Well, well, the human had left while she was not watching, and now only the wolf remained.
What on earth was it doing?

((OOC: Don't forget--if you need your character to get you someplace quick, you can send a message to Button and Leia (two of the cats), and they'll teleport you to the correct location.))
Luke ran up one set of stairs, and down another, and helter-skelter across the courtyard. He didn't really care where he ran, because he knew his jacket was keeping track of it all--and giving a very clear and handy picture and map to his relatives back in the castle.
"Leia to Luke, come in Luke," Luke's earpiece crackled.
"Yeeah?" Luke replied, drawing it out long. Leia sighed.
"You're supposed to act militarized. You should say--OW!!!"
"Okay, Ow. What happened?"
"Button cuffed me!! That hurt!!" Leia's last exclamation was followed by a loud thump.
"This is Button speaking. Luke, you passed a hallway a ways back. Mind going down it for us? We're missing information for that part of the castle."
"Sure," Luke said, reversing course. He was a few yards down the hallway, when he suddenly reversed course again.
"Luke? Keep going down that hallway. I need a reading for in there."
"No way, lady! There's a pack of mutant wolf dog avocado things coming my way! I'm firing my rocket blasters and going someplace else!! Feel free to give me a heading--but NOT one down that hallway."
"Oh. Try going higher up in the Tower, then..."
"Sure...just give me a boost in power so these mutts don't catch me!!!" Luke panted, hurrying as fast as his legs would carry him. He slid running around one corner, and slammed into the wall. A mutt stood over him, drooling and growling. With a frantic meow, Luke reached up and swatted its nose. It jumped back in surprise, just about the time Button fired Luke's blasters and his energy pack clicked on. Leaving the dog howling in pain, Luke sped off, to other unknown regions of the castle.

Flow decided he could abandoned the stunned creature just long enough to investigate. He took to the air, not noticing the spy who was watching him, and landed near the mutts. He snarled:
"ENOUGH!" but they didn't listen...
Finally he dialed in Joe on the communicator...
"Joe, Where on earth are you?"
Then he remembered.... He forgot to check on the dryad...

Lu hurried up into the tree but she could not go higher than the lowest branches. Her cape kept catching twigs and sticks and leaves swirled down into her face, which was upturned. Spluttering, she shook them off and reached for another branch. Lightweight and quick, Lu could climb this tree; she knew she could! How had...whoever that was...gotten up there?? she demanded to know of herself. Seeing that she had no answer, she sighed and nestled into the branches. The least she could do was wait here for Riella and make sure that whoever-it-was did not escape form the tree.
Suddenly it dawned on her that she had no weapons. Reaching out, she tore a thin branch off of the tree and snapped it in the air. Whhhhp! Yes, this one was good; it was nearly a whip. That was an alright weapon. Besides, she did not expect too much trouble from whoever was up in the tree. And, should worse come to worse, she could always jump from the tree and run. Thus satisfied, she curled up tighter and closed her eyes, leaning up against the trunk behind her and hoping that nobody- least of all, mutant mutts- disturbed her slumber. Yes, they were on her side, but...did they know that?? Best not to risk things: she pulled her legs up even tighter.
So she slept.
