It was never long. It was always above the collar bone, which is still short or medium at the longest. As long as it's above the colar bone, it's short enough on a guy Biblically and is still short. I like his PC hair better

The Bible doesn't give exact hair lengths for men or women. lol The Bible does say, "Doth not even nature itself teach you that, if a man have long hair, it is a shame unto him? But if a woman have long hair, it is a glory to her: for her hair is given her for a covering" [1 Corinthians 11:14-15, KJV]. I think it depends on the age and culture what "long hair" means.

OK, time to refocus on Edmund/Skandar. I really hope Skandar gets to say that "record stinker, Eustace" line in VDT.

And after that, I will look forward to the scene with Edmund and Eustace after Eustace has been undragoned. Should be a really poignant moment between those two characters.

Edmund/Skandar was for sure my Favorite Penvensie for sure! Hes great!

Edmund has always, since the first time I read the book when I was 5 years old, been my favorite character, and I was sooooo happy to see Skandar playing him! wow! skandar is an amazing actor! he really brings Edmund to life! yay for Skandar!

Okay, Liberty Hoffman, I was about to make a big Skandar fan post, but then i read your post and basically you said what I was going to say. haha
And I do hope Edmund gets lines with a lot of meaning in the second scene you mentioned, GlimGlum.

Edmund has a pretty big part in this Narnia story, so I hope Skandar gets more screen - time than he had in PC!

I really liked Edmund in PC, despite the little screen time. What he had was really cool! Plus, it was kind of nice liking him for once, as in LWW he played a rather horrible traitor. In Prince Caspian I really loved how the character was redeemed, and I can't wait to see the continuation of that in VDT. Saying that, I'm a bit nervous about Deathwater ... I hate that bit in the book, especially what Caspian and Edmund say - anyone else agree? That is to say, Skandar's a good actor and I'm sure he can pull it off well, but I just hate that the character even says what he does.

Hmm, I do know what you mean, but I always thought of Edmund repremanding Caspian for being greedy rather then him wanting the gold for himself...prob not what Lewis intended, just what I always got from reading it.

I would really like to see Edmund "counseling" Eustace after Eustace was de-dragonized. An understanding and "bestowing of wisdom" , since Edmund already went through the whole rejection/repemption thing.

I really can't wai to see Skandar in VotDT! he is going to blow everyone away!

Principal photography in Australia has now ended.

Edmund and Lucy Pevensie return to Narnia with their unpleasant cousin Eustace through an enchanted painting of a ship. They are reunited with Caspian and Reepicheep for a journey across the sea aboard the royal ship The Dawn Treader in search of the seven Lords banished by Caspian’s uncle Miraz. Along they way they encounter dragons, dwarves, merfolk, and a band of lost warriors and endure many adventures before reaching the edge of the world that is the home of Aslan, the King of all Narnia.

12/8:

Principal Photography has ended on the Gold Coast of Australia. Skandar has come away with a PADI certificate in scuba diving which he is hoping to put to good use in the future. The story of the film is of a sea journey on the Dawn Treader. The boat is even more magical than in the pictures posted by fans on the internet so wait till you see the film!

12/9:

Skandar is hoping to visit the Galapagos in the summer of 2010 to meet his friend Sebastian and other giant tortoises on Santa Cruz in the Galapagos Islands. He also hopes to see the sea lions, turtles and sharks under water.

Sebastian has a tracking device attached to his back which you can see on the picture.
