I'm really looking forward to hearing how Ben will sound in VDT. I thought his accent was good, but way too strong. If he can tone it down it will be perfect.

I don't thnik they will change his accent in VotDT.....why would they? he already had it in PC so consistency is nice.....

I agree with Liberty. I think changing his accent would hurt the film more than help it.

CS Lewis basically said that the Telmarines were pirates when they came into Narnia and most pirates back in the day were from Spain.

I always imagined Caspian's ancestors to be like Fletcher Christian in The Mutiny on the Bounty. The situation that Lewis described (taking native wives, getting drunk, killing each other off, etc.) is all there in the book Pitcairn's Island. Those pirates are British.

I'd encourage everyone to read the books by the way. They are facinating. If anything Lewis writes about Caspian's ancestors sparks your imagination, then you will like the Bounty book trilogy.

Hmm I just saw the VDT banner at the cannes and I'm thinking i like the scruff on ben barnes; it looks kingly. Before I really didn't like it but now i think i do. I can't wait to see him in vdt!!!!!

I think the beard on Ben was also to age him a bit. in PC, he had to look a bit young and all but now he is king and he must look as such! I think it's awesome!

It's not a messed up or long beard. i'm starting to think that it grew while he was on the voyage for the weeks before the Pevensie's came aboard.

I'm a big fan of the scruff on the banner. I didn't care for it much in most other set pictures/stills save for maybe 3 of them, but the banner makes it look quite handsome.

I've always loved the scruff on King Caspian. It makes Ben Barnes look very mature and not 19 years old. I really like his picture on the recent poster, although I wish RD was beside him instead of WW.
