@moonlit_centaur, oh neat! Which of his other songs do you enjoy?
Christ is King.
@snowangel The two I initially found in my playlists are 'Old Neptune, He's Rising' and 'The Voyage of St Brendan' although I I listen to a lot of playlists 'made for you' by Spotify which often contain Psalms put to music and I don't look at the artist so wouldn't be surprised if I've heard more from him than I'm aware of.

Ooh, those are two of my favorites.
I was trying to pick a favorite on Awake The Dawn, but I just can't.

It is so sad that Brian Wilson of The Beach Boys has passed away. In recent years I have listened to the music of the group more often and actually love it even more now than I did as a child in the 1960’s. Their music was something for all generations! 🙂
Has anyone ever listened to Barry Gray’s music? Barry Gray composed music for the Supermarionation puppet shows and some live action programs that were created by Gerry Anderson. The music is well worth listening to if you like something old fashioned and beautiful. It is a lot like the music from Walt Disney’s films that were made decades ago. I recommend it highly. 🙂
Here are some samples of Barry Gray’s music:

@narnialife, are you referring to the album Music Inspired by The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe, or are you referring to another album or song such as some of this music inspired by Narnia?
As for me - I have the album which was released around the time of LWW's release in 2005. IMO some of the artists and songs capture the heart and love for Narnia more than others - but I do love that album and even 20 years on regularly pull the CD out and put it on.
Regarding some of the ones listed in the linked article - I've heard some of the albums, the 2nd Chapter of Acts album, Meg Sutherland's and Sarah Sparks' I'd very much recommend. I also have one of the albums by the Swedish metal band Narnia - and the cover of the album I have is very Narnian, although as noted in the article they DO NOT always sing about Narnia.
I like the sound of some of their (Narnia's) music, but, I understand that metal may not be everyone's cup of tea.

the LWW one I think but I've only heard the songs that are in my grandmas pile of sheet music

I have lately been watching Karolina Protsenko’s videos featuring her playing the violin. She has been performing since she was nine or ten years old, and she has an amazing talent. This is one of her videos from when she was a child:

Karolina has played in professional orchestras, which shows how well she performs. 🙂
