My kids love the song. They listen to it regularly. I thought it was alright initially, but it really grows on you. We went to the special event and heard it sung live by Carlos Santiago, which was really cool.
@coracle I look forward to hearing your thoughts. It’s special.
@Courtenay It’s been a while since they went to the UK. I believe it was Edinburgh last time. If I learn of them traveling there I’ll let you know.

@rilian Oh, that'd be beyond fantastic!!
(I can get to most parts of the UK with a bit of planning — it's not that big, after all — but Edinburgh is an easy enough train trip for me, as is London. My nearest big city, only half an hour away, is Manchester.)
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."

@rilian it had better be special! The travel costs are very high from here. Hmm, maybe I can sneak in as an extra too?
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.

Indeed. But I have no pull with getting people cameos. LOL. That’s not my department.

@anfinwen that doesn't surprise me. They've got costumes and sets from 2021, and a suitable set of Pevensies (and presumably understudies). 'Peter' played Edmund last time.
@rilian it's OK. I know a couple of people....😉

No?? And there I was thinking I might make a nice little Dryad in the background, when they next come to the UK...

@courtenay unfortunately that 'other' production of LWW is still touring UK. I doubt it would be financially helpful for Logos to take their show there at present. The Edinburgh one was a smaller production, taken to the Edinburgh Festival, as I recall.

Very true — it was on somewhere near me before Christmas, and no, I didn't go. (Been there, done that... it's the one I described at the start of this thread, which I found deeply disappointing, especially in its absurd portrayal of Aslan.)
Of course though, Logos could always bring one of their other Narnia productions over here, like PC or SC or HHB...

I'd also love to see a Logos production over here in the UK and, with enough notice, would be willing to travel to any major city if they don't do a full tour.
I've heard very good things about their HHB which is my favourite book and I'd especially love to see an adaptation of some day.

@anfinwen I know Pensacola was in the rotation at one time too.

@rilian yes, they did a short visit to a college there, just after finishing their Taylors season in October 2024.

News that I'd forgotten about!
Prince Caspian is returning!
While looking up the show times in Washington DC for the new Logos Theatre production of God Meant It For Good. (this is excellent, the story of Joseph; I have the DVD of an earlier production) I spotted a poster for Prince Caspian!
It has just been announced to tour to Branson, Missouri (6 June - 22 August), and to DC ('this fall' - dates not up yet).

The last time Logos mounted Prince Caspian was in 2020 to 2021, if I remember rightly. They also took it to DC as their first 'toured' show.
Watch out for details!

@coracle They were advertising PC at the Ark when I went to LWW, so I'm hoping it will have a stop on the tour as well. I think both LWW and HHB went to the Museum of the Bible and Branson first, then came to the Ark in late Dec/early Jan, so I'm hoping for something like that and that the date just hasn't been announced yet.
Fantastic news. We will definitely see the Branson one.
