Eboracum, the name of a Roman fort in ancient Britain (first century AD), which grew into a city that the Anglo-Saxons called Eoforwic, the Vikings called Jorvik, and modern-day people just call York. 
(And yeah, I believe there's a "New" version of it somewhere over the pond.

Manorbier (Wales) - which is the location of a castle with the same name which was used by the BBC in the 1988 production of The Lion, the Witch & the Wardrobe both as the White Witch's castle, and Cair Paravel!
