All three are beautiful, gorgeous, living dogs belonging to the biological genus Canis, whose lives are sometimes written about in biographies, and maintenance of whose health & well-being might involve veterinarians using biopsies, that is to say, procedures involving the examination of living tissue. 
I thought that one would have been too easy, really, so here is a harder one.
