All centaurs in Lewis's wonderful Chronicles of Narnia books.
Gimli, Glóin and Thorin?
*~JESUS is my REASON!~*
All are dwarves that we meet in The Hobbit and in Lord of the Rings.
Bilbies, Rabbits and coloured Eggs
All three are fearsome dragons from J.R.R. Tolkien's Middle Earth writings.
Not quite. Fáfnir actually comes from Norse legend and was the inspiration for the other two.
Back to the current round... all three are common symbols of Easter that are regularly rendered in chocolate.
(Bilbies are native to Australia and are promoted in modern times as an Aussie alternative to the Easter Bunny.)
Brisbane, Yarra, Swan.
"Now you are a lioness," said Aslan. "And now all Narnia will be renewed."
(Prince Caspian)
Three rivers which flow through three state capital cities in Australia. Brisbane River through the city of the same name, Yarra River through Melbourne, and Swan River through Perth.
London, Paris and Los Angeles - I'm sure there's plenty of things these cities have in common, but I'm after one thing in particular - so no, the fact that they are "cities" is not the answer!
*~JESUS is my REASON!~*
My first thought was Prince Harry, who was born & raised in London, whose mother died in Paris, and who lives in Los Angeles, with his own Los Angeles-born wife, Meghan. But I should have guessed better, when there has been so much discussion last week about the Brisbane Olympic Games holding their rowing events locally in Penrith, still with world class Olympic facilities from 2000. Not to mention local champion, Jessica Fox's career in canoeing.
Yes, indeed, both Paris & London have had the Olympics three times: Paris held the Olympic games for the third time in 2024 on the centenary of the 1st, whilst post-WW2 London held the Olympic Games in both 1948, and 2012, Queen Elizabeth's Diamond Jubilee year. Los Angeles, about to hold the next Olympic Games, already had held the games for the second time in 1984.
Jadis, the White Witch, Sauron and Voldemort?
