Getting a new book I have been waiting ages for.  

Making peppermint marshmallows.  

Beating my siblings at Clue.   

A good book.

A new idea for a painting or drawing, at a time when I have energy to do it.

Kitty-cuddles.

New recipe ideas + supplies enough to make them

Seeing friends (including videocalls)

Finding cool new music.

A Package in the mail (which is not kitty supplies)

Reading time (in the evenings, before I sleep)

Playing the piano; singing; reveling in music (one of the best gifts we have been given, imho); sharing music with others

Counting one's blessings; intentional sharing these many blessings with others, particularly those in deep need

Less in general and more in particular for today:

-I made appointments to hang out with two church friends

-I found out a lady in my Sunday school was researching a thing to help me out, *without* being asked first

-I got to talk about books and have black cherry soda and cheese pesto flatbread with a college friend

It's been a bad brains week, so one really good thing today is that I'm finally not feeling tired or scrambled.

Also I went for a walk and the weather was nice,

and I am back to enjoying my books,

and I had maple-flavor coffee.

I had a bad brains attack but a girl I barely know on an art server went out of her way to help me feel better afterwards, and then I spent most of the evening in a live chat brainstorming art things and goofing around while I painted. So those were good things. Also we had chef salad with shrimps.

I got to go to the library today! Always a good thing. My current favorite librarian is on a break but I still got to talk to good bookish people and collect some potentially interesting new things.

Also I FINALLY got a care package in the mail for an online friend, I've been planning this Box for months now as a welcome for when she moved out of her parents' place. ^_^

Let's see... what makes my day:

1. Starting the day by look at devotions and verses (as a Christian, got to start the day with God)

2. Going to Church on Sundays

3. A good cup of hot tea (on a cold winter day)

4. Watching some good movies

5. Researching

6. Listening To good music

My favorite things which make my day (like the song in The Sound of Music). 🙂

1. Listening to classical and choral music.

2. Hearing songbirds such as wood thrushes in spring.

3. Reading a good book whether it is from the library or my own collection. 

4. Having nothing go wrong for the entire day.

5. Having peace and quiet in my home and not having to put up with noise elsewhere.

6. Seeing things that are beautiful in nature such as trees in a forest and beautiful buildings such as the lighthouses in Michigan.

-when my brain behaves itself! 

-hearing from friends I haven't heard from in awhile

-snuggles with pets

-finding a new gem of a book to read, especially if I didn't know what to expect from it going in

-doing an art thing that comes out close to the vision in my head

-really tasty food, especially of kinds I don't get very often
