Things that have made me smile lately...
Playhouse related:
(blame "A Christmas Carol")
-being back at the playhouse after a long absence
-seeing new pictures, from the production/watching the dvd
-getting to meet new friends/see old ones again
-having people that you didn't expect to see, surprise you by coming back... even if just for the one night
-new memories, and new signatures/messages in a new book!
General:
-SyFy having a TNG marathon!
-church choir rehearsals (and other church stuff)
-getting mail (such as secret santa gifts!)
-leftover birthday cake (which is gone, as of today )
-talks with really good friends
-getting to go to the Madrigal Dinner of the group I did it with last year! (saturday can't come fast enough for me, right now!)
-knowing Christmas is really close!
-knowing that the Les Mis movie opens on Christmas!
-getting the new muppet movie for St. Nick Night!
-The Hobbit movie opening tomorrow! (hope I can see it soon)
-my characters talking to me again! (I'll take conversations over silence. even if actual writing isn't yet coming)
-playing guitar once again!
I'm sure there have been more... but I can't think of them now. So, I'll just have to come back if I remember them!
p.s. I love reading everything you guys write in here. OH! Seeing that you guys are happy makes me happy!
80th birthday parties! (Not mine, my great aunt's! )
memento mori
Eating pumpkin dessert, even if it was made with canned pumpkin and a store bought cake mix.
Listening to Miracle by Third Day!
Being on NarniaWeb!
Using the hot tub in the rain!
SnowAngel
Christ is King.
Ending the swim season on a (relatively) good note!
memento mori
* hearing bits of good news in other people's lives
* talking to clients by phone at work, and hearing their voices much more positive (I have a personal campaign to make the sad faced and sad voiced people smile)
*finding something I have mislaid
There, shining in the sunrise, larger than they had seen him before, shaking his mane (for it had apparently grown again) stood Aslan himself.
"...when a willing victim who had committed no treachery was killed in a traitor's stead, the Table would crack and Death itself would start working backwards."
- Spending time with fun people
- Drivers who let you merge in front of them on the highway. It's small, yes, but what a nice, selfless contrast in comparison to people who are upsets waiting to happen on the road. Makes me wish I could have a big "THANK-YOU" sign.

- Watching the Lizzie Bennet Diaries.
- Making progress on my novels.
- Finally getting more shelf room for my ever-growing library.

Watching old movies with my siblings.
Trying new recipes!
SnowAngel
Christ is King.
Saving Lives
memento mori
being able to finish everything I actually managed to plan today, that really makes my day
when people at the dance studio pay on time and I don't have to go running after them like a broken record reminding them that they are late with their payments (being a receptionist isn't always easy )
always be humble and kind
^ I always pay on time so people don't come chasing after me. Not having to go to work makes my day after 5 days of working 9 hours.
Finding out I'm able to go on the best church retreat ever which I wasn't able to go to before due to schedule conflicts.
memento mori
New knit t-shirts! In the colors I was hoping for!
Working on project and having it turn out better than I thought it would.
Watching a movie with siblings.
And having my big brother watch it with us even though he said he wasn't going to stay in the room while we watched it.
The possibility of getting a new Cardinals hat.
SnowAngel
Christ is King.
We were out and it was cold and wet and rainy. Suddenly, our neighbour came with three cups of warm hot cocoa in order to warm us up. Pretty much made my day.
