Waking up from a dream that would make a perfect story to write makes my day!

Just the right song at just the right moment, a sudden spark of curiosity, a good hike, a gentle breeze, a beautiful sunrise, a running stream...I'm pretty easy to please, but the one thing that will make my day, any day, is a fresh breath of the Holy Spirit. It's like breathing for the very first time all over again and again and again.

Ditto GTG. It's a great feeling to wake up during a beautiful day and thanking God that you are still alive to start a great day.

No particular order.
1. My Dad having the day off.
2. Going to my favorite place by the river.
3. Buying a new book or CD.
4. Taking an especially good picture.
5. Receiving a note from my pen-pal.
6. Making cupcakes.
7. Eating homemade ice cream.
8. Adding another hat to my small collection.
9. Watching one of my favorite movies such as Fireproof.
10. Playing a game on my brother's XBox 360 or PS2.
11. Listening to one of my Third Day CDs.
12. Reading Tahn, Hidden Places, Wind Dancer, or any other book for that matter.

Same here! I love it when a dream has that certain "feel" to it and the story seems to fall right into your lap.

Today I got to sleep later then usual and I was able to get things done that I wanted to get done in a long time. I was very pleased and it made my day.

More things that make my day/week/month/year!

1) Babies! (I just started babysitting for a family yesterday)
2) the fact that VBS is next week! and has a VDT reminiscent theme this year! (it's called "High Seas Expedition", and is by Group)
3) the fact that camp is at the end of this month! (camp and vbs are the two best weeks of the year, in my humble opinion)
4) SUMMER! I love the weather, bbqs, more time with people that are too busy to hang out during the school-year, amusement parks, and trips to the zoo, etc!

Having a lady who has taught English for twenty-five years and is an avid reader tell me that my book is the best young person story she has ever read! And then to have her rave about it to all the ladies in her church.
I have been sick and miserable today, until Grandma called and told me that and that really made my day!

Ibuprofen is also pretty nice.

when someone I don't really know facebook chats me. It's exciting.
