These are all great!

1) A kid bringing up a crew inside joke from a past VBS, on Monday.

Hayleigh: "Hey, Andrea!"

I look up from my plate. "What's up, Hay?"

Hayleigh: "Duck says moo... cow says quack."

I crack up, almost near tears from laughing so hard, while the rest of our crew/tribe gives us puzzled looks. Hayleigh's grinning ear-to-ear.

"Hayleigh... THANK YOU! None of the others say that anymore. You just made my night, kiddo."

She beams even more (if possible). I get out my phone and use the calculator.
"Hey, Hayleigh. Did you know that was about 4 or 5 years ago? And it's still funny!"

Hayleigh: "Really? And yeah, it IS still funny!"

"Know what else? It was started at suppertime, even... so this was perfect timing!"

We smile at each other one last time before going back to our food. (me still shaking my head and laughing)

.....Tuesday (or was it today, wednesday?)....
"Hey, Matt!! Matty!! Guess what?! We were sitting at supper last night and Hayleigh said "Duck says moo"."

He grins, and then laughs. That made me happy too... he might not say it anymore, but he'll still find it funny!

*anyone curious how this started and why it's so funny... pm me and I'll tell you.

2) A kid saying this at the end of VBS tonight:

Carson: "I don't wanna leave yet! I wanna stay!"

(I was in full agreement. thankfully we still have two more nights before we say "goodbye" to VBS 2011 for good!)
