^I saw Terminator 2 in the theaters with my dad and his best friend when I was 1 almost 2 years old and I didn't cry, to be honest my dad said that I started crying when the movie was over, after that I had a love for film since.
However on most occassions some children would run around the theater because certain parents were not watching them. One kid sneaked up behind me. I politely had to tell a mom to keep her eyes on her kid because one time I had to help this kid out from under a seat because he was stuck and almost suffocated. Only once did I hear a baby cry in a movie theater and that was when I saw Jurrasic Park 3 and it was a baby, it was probably 8 or 9 months old.

I hate it when adults bring kids that are way too young for a certain movie or any movies at all that I'm at.
At my second viewing of VDT, some parent brought their baby who looked only a year and a half old. The kid starting crying when the kids first came to Narnia and the Dawn Treader almost ran over them. Then they took the kid out. I don't want to imagine what it would have been like if they had stayed for the sea serpent.
The second time it happened was at Cars 2. Some kid kept crying for some reason and it got really annoying.
Don't you think kids should not go to movies until they understand what they are?
I've always said, and only half-jokingly, that kids' tickets should be double that of adults' for this very reason. Infants should be not allowed at all or triple-priced. Encourage the parents to find a baby sitter by making it more expensive to bring the baby to the movie.
And if someone or a group are making it generally unwatchable for the rest of the audience, the management should make an example by hitting the pause button, turning the lights on, and escorting the offenders out.

Crooked wall hangings, wrinkled bed sheets, chewing with your mouth open... I can't think of any thing else.

...When people overuse certain words, something I am also frequently guilty of I admit. And I mean words used to describe something, or show emotion. It especially annoys me when the word is not only overused, but also incorrectly used.

When people accuse me of things I didn't do, especially when they don't apologize after finding out the truth. narnian1, that annoys me as well.

Something that really annoys me is when people bump into me and don't apologize. I especially hate it when I don't even know the person.

Getting sick at church when you are asked to turn and greet those around you. Good idea but a certain number of people come to church sick. Most unpleasant to hear the cough and congestion after shaking someone's hands.
To be fair, I am sure there are those who may be coming down with something and not know it. But there are those who do know they have something and still shake hands and spread the germs.
This has happened at least 6 times to me this year. Not

There is definitely no "a" in definite.

Little kids coming at 10:20 at night to ring your doorbell and run away before you manage to get to the door. That just happen a few minutes ago.
I haven't posted in this thread for ages and ages, but here's a good list of some pet peeves I have from working in retail:
--People misreading signs or flyers and then acting like it's my fault
--Customers handing me money then after I've punched it in the till, handing me more change so I have to either do it in my head or get out the calculator
--People who pick something up, walk around the store, decide they don't want it and dump it somewhere random. Once I found mustard in with the razors, and another time I found, ironicly, diaper cream in with the bandaids, and when I went back to the baby section to put it away, I found bandaids in the baby section!
--People who won't get out of the store even when it's 1 minute to closing or past closing.
--Old people counting out their change realllllllly slowllllllly (I know this sounds kind of mean, but come on. At least some of them are jolly about it and say "oh I'm so sorry, I know I take forever", that's cool. But the grumpy ones who seem to be totally unaware of the five people in line behind them...nope, not cool)
And that's all for today. Don't want to get too depressing.
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." Marilyn Monroe
I ditto everything on that list, Val. If there is any job out there that leads to more frustration and irritation with humanity than retail, I don't ever want to work it.
Some sort of legal Loophole seems to have opened, as books are popping up that consist only of wikipedia articles. Narnia has been hit too:
http://www.amazon.com/Tash-Narnia-Lambe ... 668&sr=8-6
http://www.amazon.com/Walden-Media-film ... 645&sr=8-2
Why? Selling a book of Wikipedia articles with 100 pages for 56 $? Something went wrong somewhere...
1. When people walk into a room and I'm watching TV and they get distracted and start watching- standing up. Either sit down and watch or go away! Make up your mind!
2. Incorrect grammar. Fix you're mistakes!
3. When people touch me randomly. My mom plays with my hair, my dad sometimes pets me, it really bugs me. I REALLY hate it when my sister is behind me on line and she puts her hand on my back, pushing me a little.
4. Bratty kids, especially when they misbehave and their parents are right there.
5. Misquoting. If someone misquotes a song, movie, tv show or book, I will correct them, even if it's just one word. I get really mad when someone misquotes Narnia or says untrue statements about the books.
6. People who say they are Owl City fans, but only know Fireflies.
When people are lazy and don't do their job. Honestly, I wish they would just let someone else do it.
Lilygloves, it bothers me when people touch me as well. Most of the time, its little touches, like being poked or brushed or slightly bumped that bother me. Kind of odd but it REALLy bugs me sometimes.
When people do/say disgusting things...espcially while I'm eating. I mean come on, have some courtesy!
When people don't wash their hands. Ugg.
