Did anyone catch the pilot episode of Intelligence the other night?
It featured a number of familiar faces returning to the small screen: Josh Holloway (Sawyer from LOST) is the star; also appearing were Meghan Ory (who was Little Red Riding Hood in season 1 of Once Upon a Time, John Billingsley (Dr Phlox from Enterprise) and Rosalind Chao (from MASH and Star Trek TNG and DS9).
It was enjoyable enough but the marketing (better, stronger, smarter) and some of the action sequences made me think it's like The Six Million Dollar Man redone for the 21st century.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Anyone else watched When Calls The Heart on Hallmark? My sisters and I watched the third episode, we missed the first couple of episodes. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good it is. Looking forward to Saturday night!

It was enjoyable enough but the marketing (better, stronger, smarter) and some of the action sequences made me think it's like The Six Million Dollar Man redone for the 21st century.
My brother and I have been watching it for the last few weeks. It's an interesting idea, though it reminds me a lot of another CBS show on the air right now (Person of Interest, in terms of a lot of the effects as well as the premise). My brother likes it a bit more than I do, but we both think it's all right. Not brilliant, but certainly not bad. Personally, I'd like to see more personality from Riley other than "obligatory female character and probable love interest". (At least she's not obnoxious, unlike other characters I've seen in the same role.) But, we're only what, 5 episodes in? I'm patient; I'll give it a few more episodes.
But, speaking of new shows that needed time to shape up, I'm really impressed with Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. I'll admit, the first few episodes were a bit disappointing; quite a few of them, I didn't really have any reason to stop watching during commercial breaks other than that my family watches it together. But we decided to be patient because, after all, I almost gave up on Person of Interest before episode 7--and I'm really glad I didn't. (Ironically, this show's episode 7 was my least favorite so far. Skye, you're really surprised that S.H.I.E.L.D. keeps secrets from is agents? And this is supposed to be the conflict of the episode? Really?)
I think that all the episodes this year (as in, aired in 2014) have been a definite step up. The characterization feels more natural, the plots have been more intriguing, and it feels more like a defined story arc and less like "Oh yeah,
Anybody got any theories about

I was curious if anyone else was watching Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. ...
I agree that the episodes have been getting better, though i liked most of the earlier ones (ep. 8 was the only one i was seriously "meh" about), but i think i feel less like i'd have to justify my liking it.
About your spoiler: everything i know about Marvel comics is what i've seen in the films, and a few stray details here and there, so no theories from me.
What i'm curious about is

I agree with that last part! It's nice to go from saying "It's not that bad" to "This is getting really good!"
About the theory:
Yeah, I really wonder

Anyone else been watching When Calls The Heart? My sisters, mom, and I have watched every episode since the third one. And totally loving it. The show is not really based on the book, so there is no really comparing the two.
I can't believe this week is the season finale. My sisters and I are so hoping that they will announce the second season soon. We have had so much fun watching the show together every weekend.

Sometime during the last week or so, i started watching Burn Notice on Netflix. I've gone through the first four seasons and am into the early episodes of season 5. Obviously, i am really enjoying it.
I'm not quite sure why i'm "burning" (had to, sorry) through it like this, but i think part of it might be Michael is the most adorable hard-as-nails spy ever. I love his relationship with the other characters, especially his mother.

@SnowAngel: I don't watch or even own a TV. So I didn't become a "When Calls the Heart" fan until Sunday night, when I saw a DVD of the first 2 episodes. Jack and Elizabeth = EEK! I'm now a Heartie! Check out these fan creations.

Lori Loughlin said on Twitter this week that they'll know in May whether or not season 2 has been greenlit.
I am in live with the show Once Upon A Time!! It's my absolute favourite show at the moment. Does anyone else here like Once Upon A Time as well?
Once Up A Time. It certainly has its moments of being good, even very good but the Peter Pan arc was mostly very tiresome and much too long. I'm enjoying the Wicked Witch (Oz) arc much more.
Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11
Agreed, Warrior. The Peter Pan arc was interesting at first but just went on way too long. On the other hand, Rebecca Mader (who played a character named CS Lewis in LOST) is a good Wicked Witch.
I think this show, on the whole, was best in Season 1. Exploring the backstories of familiar fairy tale characters - many of which were written with unexpected plot twists and such - was one of my favorite parts of the show. That novelty has worn off a bit but as you said, it still has good parts.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I agree but the costume choices are more agreeable since Season 1.

Awesome stuff, 220chrisTian!
I finally got to see the first 2 episodes of When Calls The Heart this week. They were the only episodes we missed seeing on TV. They were good, but I didn't really like that on the DVD they ran the two episodes together.
I am really looking forward to season two!

I guess so! My mom, brother and I watch Burn Notice, too. I also enjoy the character interactions, as well as just seeing how they pull off all their tricks, especially when they rely more on cleverness/understanding their opponents than on resources or gun fights. Unfortunately, I've been feeling a bit (ahem) "burned out" on the show lately. The overarching plot just seems to drag on too long, to the point where certain revelations don't seem to matter as much as they should anymore.
Granted, we basically watched the show via DVD releases, meaning we'd get to burn (I promise, I'm not doing this on purpose!) through an entire season, then wait a year for the next season to come out. I think it's the kind of show that's best when you can watch one right after another.

I'm glad you liked the first 2 episodes. It's the only DVD I've seen. Each DVD will be released in a 2-episode package, with various special features. The 'store' album I created on my fan page gives the covers of the first 3 DVDs. Two have already been released. The third will be released in stores and online this month.
