I don't know what channels you may or may not get, but Merlin comes back to BBC2 on October 1st.

I'm an American, but I'm not patient enough to wait until it airs here, so I'll probably buy the season pass on iTunes. Episodes usually download the day after they air in the UK. (I did that with the sixth season of Doctor Who, and my Sunday afternoons have been very happy because of it. ;)) ) Can't wait for all my favorite Arthurian characters to be back on my screen. :)

About Lancelot .... :-s *gulps and desperately tries to cover up her signature* .... I'm really an Arwen fan, I swear! Lance and Gwen just looked so pretty together on a siggie! :-s

Glad you're enjoying Leverage, Arwenel! :D We're currently working our way through third season too; I think we're about halfway through (we just saw The Three Card Monte Job), though we're moving slow as well (try to co-ordinate with several siblings with varying school/work schedules and a parent). I really love the team dynamic; even when they're bickering and such, they all look out for each other. :)

Yay, another fan! I agree completely about the dynamic. I think Leverage achieves a better feeling of "family" than a lot of other shows do these days.

I've seen up through "The Studio Job" ["Listen to me, man. Say 'pitchy' one more time. Say 'pitchy' one more time and see what happens! I don't think that word even means what you think it means!" ;))].

Do not be daunted by the enormity of the world’s grief. Do justly, now. Love mercy, now. Walk humbly now. You are not obligated to complete the work, but neither are you free to abandon it. - Rabbi Tarfon

Libby, maybe someday! I've got a lot of shows to catch up on at the moment, find new ones all the time... AND there is always RL stuff to do. So, we'll see. ;)

Yep, I figured that's why you started that show. :p And as for Sabrina: the Teenage Witch, I always liked that show! But I can see why not everyone would. Oh, well... it's all a matter of opinion. :) I also was probably biased from the beginning, because one... she got cool powers; and two, I had grown up watching her in Clarissa Explains it All.

Valia, thanks for the info!! That's what I had thought... but I wasn't sure.
And yeah, I agree with this statement:

And hype can help turn things one way or the other with people. ;))

Tarkheena, that makes more sense! And although I'm not the most patient person in the world either, I'm also not the richest... so I can't get them off iTunes, and have to wait til SyFy shows them. ;)) Hope you enjoy the new episodes, though!

Arwen fan? *blinks* Ohh, you meant Arthur and Gwen... I got momentarily confused 'cause of the LOTR character. ;) :p

*has seen Leverage a few times*
I'm not sure how many episodes I've seen, exactly. But I liked the ones I saw! It's just, again, there are SO many shows to pay attention too! It's hard to keep up with them all. WHY did I have to be a stupid "story nerd"? I give up! =))

And I repeat... if anyone watches any of the following, please pm me:
Alphas
Warehouse 13
Eureka
Thanks in advance... I'm just dying to talk over them with someone!

I'm looking forward to it, though I suppose it's too much to hope that Lancelot falls off a cliff or something before it starts? ;))

I'm working my way through Season 1 of Merlin, and I just watched Lancelot's first episode yesterday. ;)) Let's just say, I have mixed feelings. At this point in time, he's rather likable, but I'm pretty sure I'll end up disliking him eventually because of... you know what. ;)

About Lancelot .... *gulps and desperately tries to cover up her signature* .... I'm really an Arwen fan, I swear! Lance and Gwen just looked so pretty together on a siggie!

;)) Haha! Your sig is pretty, but I'm an Arwen fan as well. I've never heard that term before - it's really clever. However, I do have to admit that at first it took me a few seconds to figure out what Lord of the Rings had to do with Merlin. :p

I watch a lot of TV shows, but most of them are on DVD. My family and I are on Season 5 of Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman. We watch the episodes on a daily basis. I've also been watching BBC's show Robin Hood again, which still remains one of my favorites.

Then of course, there's Merlin, which is one of the only current TV shows I watch, and then again, I'm still behind. ;)) I'm not sure how I'll be able to watch Season 3 since it's not available on Netflix yet, but I'm going through Merlin verrrry slowly. Hopefully by the time I get done with the first two seasons, I'll be able to watch season 3 and not be too behind on the times. ;)

My family and I have also been long-time fans of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, and we're looking forward to the new season premiere on the 25th. :D

I'm pretty sure each of these shows have fans here on NarniaWeb. Perhaps some comments could be exchanged here?

I've watched some of each of these, but the one I've watched most regularly is Eureka - even if I have to use On Demand to catch up with those episodes I've missed.

A few thoughts on this season's story arc:

Spoiler
Wil Wheaton is doing real well as a foil to the other characters' efforts to be chosen for the mission to Titan.

I like one of the effects of last season's timeline change: that Henry is married to Grace. I like that pairing, and how Henry is gradually coming to grips with such a significant change in his life - and is actually falling in love with her.

Lastly, I think the season will end with the flight to Titan, perhaps with some big cliffhanger including sabotage or some other problem with the mission. I've not seen any spoilers regarding this, so my guess might be off.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Tonight is the season finale for Eureka. Warehouse 13 still has a few episodes left though. I hate to say it, but I've been extremely underwhelmed by this season of WH13. The individual episodes have been great, but the story arc is so slow. They've not done the Big Bad thing fantastically before, but the Big Bad this season seems even more meh.

Not sure if I should post this here or in the Past Movies thread.
Me and my sister like to watch the really, really, goofy SyFy channel original movies, the ones like Dinocroc vs. Supergator, we can't stop laughing at how poorly made they are!  =))
We entertain our selves by predicting who will make it until the end, who will kill the monster, and how many plots were taken from other movies and mixed together to make it. ;)
Out of the many we have seen, my sister and I claim the worst movie we have ever seen is: Skeleton Man, it's so awful! =)) :p

Ohhh, yay! Things to discuss! :D
Let's go in order, shall we?

I watch a lot of TV shows, but most of them are on DVD. My family and I are on Season 5 of Dr. Quinn: Medicine Woman. We watch the episodes on a daily basis. I've also been watching BBC's show Robin Hood again, which still remains one of my favorites.

I've not seen Robin Hood, but I remember watching Dr. Quinn! Vaguely, but I remember it... and that I liked it! Glad you're enjoying it! :)

I also like Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, though I haven't seen every episode of every season. Isn't it cool that they do that for other people, though?! :D I mean, when the world has such ugly events in it, it's nice to see something like this and remember that there are still good things.

I'm pretty sure each of these shows have fans here on NarniaWeb. Perhaps some comments could be exchanged here?

Sure! I don't know why I thought pm'ing would be better. ;))

A few thoughts on this season's story arc:

Spoiler
Wil Wheaton is doing real well as a foil to the other characters' efforts to be chosen for the mission to Titan.

Spoiler
Oh, I know! And it's been real interesting to me to see him as a jerk. You almost love to hate this character!

And I don't know if it's 'cause I'm just that tenderhearted, or if it's because it's Wil... but during a certain recent episode (which I won't spoil for you, in case you aren't that far along yet), I kinda... yet not quite... felt sorry for the guy. ;))

Spoiler
I like one of the effects of last season's timeline change: that Henry is married to Grace. I like that pairing, and how Henry is gradually coming to grips with such a significant change in his life - and is actually falling in love with her.

Spoiler
Ohh, I know!! I love that pairing, and it's so sweet to see him actually falling for her! :D Wait til you see what comes up toward the end of the season!! *melts*

Hmm, your theory on the season finale is interesting... I'm not sure how it'll go down, exactly.

Yes, Booky, you read that right... I missed the finale. :( Hopefully I'll get to see it sometime soon! (it's one episode I didn't get to record on DVR)

I hate to say it, but I've been extremely underwhelmed by this season of WH13. The individual episodes have been great, but the story arc is so slow.

Yeah, I know what you mean!

They've not done the Big Bad thing fantastically before, but the Big Bad this season seems even more meh.

Now, I have missed quite a few episodes this season... but I think I'm inclined to agree with you. I think the closest they came was with H.G. Wells last year, and even then she wasn't so much "Bad". I don't know about you, but EVERY EPISODE during that arc, I would be trying to figure out "Is she good? or is she bad? AHHHH!" =))

7chronicles, I've only seen a few SyFy original movies, and you're right... it's hard to know where to mention them. :- But, I'd have to agree with you, in that they are pretty lame, on average. ;))

Hmm... I hope that was everything. Oh! No, it isn't!
Yesterday was the seventh season opener for Criminal Minds! I had to DVR it, and haven't gotten around to watching it yet... but I'll let you guys know what I think of it, once I do! :D

I love On Demand. :) I caught up on several shows I've missed this past week:

The season finale of Eureka -

Spoiler
I like this show, but so often it seems formulaic: Some bizarre thing happens, it turns out to be some unanticipated side effect to a science experiment (as opposed to deliberate maliciousness), and Carter has to physically counter the problem up close and personal.

But I do like the character development arcs this season.

Castle's new season -

Spoiler
I figured Cate would survive; she's too integral a part of the show. All the comic book connections in the recent episode had several friends really geeking out. ;))

The Terra Nova pilot -

Spoiler
I enjoyed this. It reminded me of several earlier shows...James Cameron's Avatar (a new world - and the 'welcoming speech' being delivered by actor Stephen Lang in both cases); Jurassic Park (dinosaurs chasing vehicles), and especially LOST (unexpected mysteries like the Sixers (like the Others or Tailies in LOST), the mysterious carvings, and just the general sense that all is not what it should be).

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Started watching the new season of Fringe tonight.

Spoiler
I'm not even going to try to figure out what Peter being deleted from the timeline did to the events we've seen. That way lies madness and lots of headaches. I really liked the fact that you can see subtle differences in the way the characters interact with each other in this new timeline; Olivia is more like her season 1 self, Astrid seemed outright irritated with Walter at one point, and Walter comes across as more confused/almost frail at points. Also, a great big BOOO!!! for killing Joe Flanigan off after about ten seconds of screentime. :P

I also watched Terra Nova.
I thought the special effects were great! Especially for TV! :)
I thought the first hour was strong, but I felt the second hour was weaker.
The whole
so I was slightly annoyed, but aside from that I think the show has potential and it kept my interest enough to watch the next episode. :)
(Im going to watch the new episode on demand since I missed it.)

The other show I've been watching is Persons of Interest, and I Love it!
It's so well acted and I love the plot.
I love both Michael Emerson and Jim Caviezel so its a win, win situation for me. :D

I also watched the Terra Nova pilot. I enjoyed it, besides the bad CGI dinosaurs. Bonus points for filming it all in Queensland, Australia.

Currently watching:
Doctor Who - Season 11

Argh, so much rage over the Warehouse 13 finale. I might have been mildly dissatisfied with the Doctor Who finale, but the WH13 finale makes me want to drop the show.

Spoiler
I was so excited to see Kate Mulgrew join the show as a recurring, but at this point I couldn't care less if they offed her character. Her guilt over failing this season's Big Bad when he was a child led to one of the stupidest sequences of events I've ever seen in a TV show. I'm with Claudia on this one, the Regents' incompetence got Helena, Mrs. Frederick, and Steve killed. To say nothing of losing the entire Warehouse. And why couldn't someone have just shot Sykes? They had so many opportunities to do so and just fumbled around like rent-a-cops instead of trained government agents.

Thoughts on the second episode of Terra Nova:

Spoiler
It seemed pretty straightforward; no additional Lost-type mysteries. (That's okay). I thought the ending was fairly predictable in that scrapping or moving the colony would be impractical (in a TV show anyway; if this happened in 'real life' they may have been forced into that decision) and there was no easy way to get rid of a million or more flying dinosaurs.

Not sure I like the Malcolm character as a potential competitor for Jim (he apparently intentionally recruited Jim's wife Elisabeth expecting her husband to stay behind), but we'll see...

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
