Wow! BBT lovers! I am one too! Haha. Sheldon too is my top fave character since he is really funny and least to say, adorable. ;)) Too bad I haven't watched its season 1. has anybody done so?

I have never seen the big bang theory but one show i can't stand is sorry to say GLEE.

I agree W4J two and a half men is a terrible show. I can't stand the laughing in the background.

Glee? Well, I used to love that show but I kind of got cheesy and bored a bit when its season 2 came. Some stories were exaggerated and *weird*. ;)) But it's still fun to watch.

I've started two more shows for some reason. ;))

Being Human was the first, not the BBC version, the SyFy one. I liked it. Josh the Werewolf is a bit whiny and I think the actor is probably the least talented of the three mains, but I enjoyed the first two episodes. And it's always nice when they choose to portray vampire-ism as a curse rather than a "Ooo!! Shiny superpowers and immortality! Yay!" thing. Definitely going to keep watching.

Farscape was my next show. I decided to watch it mainly for Claudia Black. I liked Ben Browder on SG-1 too, but Claudia Black's Vala was the best thing that happened to that show the last two years. So anyway, I was pleasantly surprised by how much I enjoyed the pilot. It's a very nice looking series, the alien designs are creative and very well done and I already like the characters.

Oh, Claudia Black does the voice of Chloe in my favorite video game:
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves! :) she does an awesome job in it! :D

By the way I was wondering if anyone knows where I can watch episodes from the 2nd Season of V online? :-
We started re-watching LOST on Tuesdays and I have missed all the V episodes from this season so far.

So, somehow I accidentally got hooked on Doctor Who. "Accidentally" would accurately describe what happened because I generally hate anything that even vaguely smacks of "scifi". But my sis started watching it for some reason or an other, and I saw bits and pieces of it. THEN we caught the Silence In the Library/Forest of the Dead two-parter from the 4th season and I was hooked. ;)) As evidenced by my signature and avatar, lol!

So, anyone else counting down the days until Series 6 premieres? I know I am!

I still haven't come across whatever episode references the "rock-paper-scissors-lizard-spock"....

It's in episode 2x08, The Lizard-Spock Expansion. Check out this youtube clip, which includes a discussion as to why Babylon 5 is a reasonable compromise between Saturn 3 and Deep Space Nine.

Sheldon has some great lines: "I'm not going to watch The Clone Wars TV series until I've seen The Clone Wars movie. I prefer to let George Lucas disappoint me in the order he intended." ;))

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

I agree with those who have expressed their love for Penny/Sheldon interactions. You get a feeling from them that Sheldon really loves Penny more than he loves any of the others (except of course his Memaw). I thought Leonard and Penny were an ok couple, but I suppose Leonard is a bit whiny at times, but Penny sure wasn't perfect either.
One of my favorite dialogue exchanges was this one:

Sheldon: "Penny, I'm a physicist. I have a working knowledge of the universe and everything it contains."

Penny: "Who's Radiohead?"

I thought it summed them both up perfectly. ;)) I also think that Kaley Cuoco (Penny) is a great female comedian. Women tend to get fewer funny parts, but she has great timing and really holds her own against all of those guys.

Gymmie: I'm a casual DW fan and I too am not really a SciFi person. The SciFi is what has kept me from really immersing in the Whoniverse, but Matt Smith's quirky and awkward Doctor finally won me over. :) Who's your favorite doctor?

*is now curious if anyone here is a fan of Mad Men*...

Or, The Mentalist?

And for those who keep up on Criminal Minds...what are your thoughts on the current season? I have to say it--the latest episode was DREADFUL. The show is completely going downhill. I'm not even talking about the huge amount of sexual content and pure violence that's on TV at only 9 o'clock, but the fact that it's totally lost the point of the show! It wasn't about the "Criminal mind", there's very little profiling involved anymore, and the cases they work on are usually pretty much just "someone shot someone" or "someone was abducted" or "Someone had daddy issues". Nothing interesting, nothing that makes you think. :(

I completely agree with the Glee comment! Was beginning to think I was the only one who hated it!
I actually kind of like Two and a Half Men, the kid cracks me up. I don't like it enough to watch every episode though.

I'm almost finished watching season 3 of Dexter on netflix. It's certainly my new favorite show!

I am addicted to this show! At first I didn't think I'd like it that much, but I absolutely love it even after only 2 episodes. Josh is a bit whiny but you can't blame him. He did become a werewolf unexpectedly. I kind of find his whininess funny at times. And the actor who plays Aiden looks very much the part, very vampire-ry.

Oh and has anyone else seen Face Off? It's also on Syfy and it's a show where special effects make up artists compete in different challenges to see who is the best. I really like this show because it's so cool watching the artists transform the actors.

Team Edward and Team Jacob are overrated. I'm Team Avatar!

I too love The Big Bang Theory! Glad to see I'm not the only Sheldon fan-he's the biggest reason I watch the show. I'm also a relatively new fan of The Tudors. I don't care for a few aspects of the show, but I am really hooked on it.

I like Glee. I was a choir geek in High School, so it's up my alley.

Val: I watched The Mentalist for a while, but it got dull, so I dropped it. It takes place very near to my hometown and one episode was even set there. It was odd to watch my area on TV. Jane is really hilarious.

Sheldon is a great character. He has sort of taken over the "leading male" part of the show from Leonard to the point that Jim Parsons won a Golden Globe for his role. Kaley Cuoco presented the award and her reaction when she reads his name is very cute. ;))

What do the fellow TBBT fans think of the show's tendency to drop storylines? It sort of bothers me, but sometimes the predicaments are so complicated and doomed that it's just easier for the episode to end and assume time took care of everything.

Bottomline, I love TBBT. If ever I want to laugh, I always want to watch big bang theory. Their sense of humor really is funny. Who knew smart people like them could have some sense of humor? Sheldon especially, when he teases Leonard. ;))

lol i don't liek the guy who plays one of the main men, he is such a jerk. I guess it isn't a reason not to like the show but oh well.

Yes everyone likes glee and i don't know why?
