Speaking of Jorge Garcia, he will be in a new show from JJ Abrams. I saw it over at IMDb, but I don't remember what it's about.

TWD

Whoa...did anyone else feel like they got hit by a cinderblock avalanche for the last 3 minutes of the episode? Yikes!

Still haven't seen this week's TWD. I will be seeing it tonight or possibly tomorrow. I'll give my thoughts then :) Sounds great though, I got a friend to start watching it :D

I've read the first volume of the comic book, so I

Spoiler
knew about Amy dying, but it was still very unexpected and sad, especially Andrea crying over her body. I was glad Ed got munched though. Good riddance. Lori irritated me though. Jackie and others all managed to pick up sticks and tools, but all Lori can do is cower behind Shane, the guy she screamed at last episode. Seriously? /:)

Have to say, I'm actually liking Daryl. I expected him to be just another redneck jerk like his brother, but he's edging to the top of my favorite characters list.

I watched Pretty Little Liars and found it a bit controversial. It's full of, of course, controversy, lies (from the title itself) and secrets. The concept is nice but it's like Gossip Girl in an angle. Characters were great and I can relate some to them which makes it look better to me.

In TWD Epsiode 3: All I can say is that I learned a lot from it. Like love for your brothers and sisters plus sacrifice. It's still a great show so far. ;)

I happened to flip on the TV this evening partway through the CBS series How I Met Your Mother - a show I've never even seen a clip from.

Apparently Jorge Garcia (Hugo from LOST) is guest starring in this episode as an old friend from college who apparently has bad luck. This ties directly to his LOST character's being 'cursed' by winning the lottery with the Numbers.

Not surprising that he was a good guest character, since How I met your mother is often called "The LOST of Sitcoms."

...

As for Growing Pains, it just didn't speak to me; I couldn't sit through it. Boy meets world struck me as much better, although the first season wasn't as good as the rest. I think the show really hit its stride when Eric (Wil Friedle) started getting serious about school and not so ditsy.

It's back! My humongous [technical term] study of What's behind "Left Behind" and random other stuff.

I watched the episode of Jorge in How I met your Mother. It was funny because he usually says

Spoiler
aw, men!
.

Just finished watching The Walking Dead. It keeps getting better and better. The 4th episode amazed me at the ending, I really like the character of Andrew.

The Walking Dead,
just finished watching episode 4. The episode was decent, not as strong as the first 3. But that ending! that was terrific. I felt something would happen, I figured

Spoiler
Merle
was back but this turned out to be much worse. Of course it can't be ruled out that
Spoiler
Merle had some connection to the zombies even being there, how he would have done it I don't know but his brother did say he would take vengeance back to camp. What worse way than this?

Bother Eustace:
I watch Psych. It's so hilarious. But I know what you mean with Juliet and Shawn getting together and the episodes are not as good any more. You almost wish in the end they never got together. At least, in the tv show. The same thing happened to I Dream of Jeanie although to a more extreme.

qwertykate88:

Thank you for the helpful info on Growing Pains, I have just finished watching season 1.

narnian1: I totally agree with the TWD ending. It was epic for me! I thought that episode would be all sentimental and all that, but the

Spoiler
attacking of the zombies were like the climax of the episode.

I glad I’m not the only Narniawebber who likes The Walking Dead. I was a little bit skeptical to start watching because I knew it would be very violent. But I think the story is being handled well so the violence serves a purpose and is not just gore for the sake of gore.

The last five minutes of episode four were unexpected.

TWD sounds pretty good. Maybe I'll begin watching, especially if the older episodes are available online.

Star sighting: last night the Hallmark channel broadcast a made-for-TV Christmas movie called Call Me Mrs. Miracle which featured Jewel Staite (Kaylee from Firefly) in a starring role. It's kind of embarrassing that it took me quite a while to recognize where she was familiar from.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

It's an excellent series, the best by far that I've seen in a long time. But it is very violent and graphic, and there's a few wordy dirds in it. Just FYI!

Speaking of Jewel Staite I broke down and purchased Firefly on my XBox last week and watched the whole season and loved it. I'm genuinely perplexed as to why it wasn't picked up for a 2nd season. Great show.
