Avatar: The Last Airbender,
well this just got even more interesting

Spoiler
Zuko has offered to be Aang's firebending teacher. The gang doesn't fully trust him obviously, especially Katara who warned him to watch himself. I want to fully trust Zuko, after all he defied his father terribly- can't go back now, but there is still doubt in me for that 100% change of heart. But even if he changes sides again, damage will have been done, Aang will be a firebdnder. But I will trust him until he gives me reason not to.

Eustace+Jill, I love NCIS. Haha I like Ziva the best. She kicks butt (literatly too!) And Mcgee, I just want to hug him after Tony bullies him around.

Haha narnian1, I love reading your updates about Avatar. You're like "ooh that's happening and I hope this happens" and I'm sitting here thinking "oh boy is he going to be disappointed".

Team Edward and Team Jacob are overrated. I'm Team Avatar!

sillygoose,
I really hope that last bit of your post wasn't about Zuko, PLEASE do not confirm or deny- just let me come up to it on my own. :(

I like to be 100% surprised as I see things, I dislike spoilers, even minor ones :-s

Haha no I'm not giving away any spoilers about Zuko or anyone. That comment was just like an overall statement. It wasn't aimed at any specific character.

#:-s ok good. :)

Well, last night I got to where

Spoiler
Zuko lost his bending ability, they had to go to the dragons. So in the end, it wasn't Zuko who helped Aang bend but the dragons masters- still, Zuko was of help. How will this end...
:-s

Tonight I have a 45min two-part episode :D

What do you mean it gets better? :-o :p I think Seasons 1-8 were pretty amazing. Once they started on the Ori, it just got a little weird. Made me miss the Goa'uld. :D

Yeah, I admit it got a little weird once the Ori thing started, but how could anyone miss the Goa'uld?! :-o Besides, you know who was freakier than either of them? Stargate: Atlantis' Wraith. :p

Hey, I loved the show too! All I was saying, was that just like with lots of shows, season one was kinda... shaky. (for lack of a better term. and that seasons 2-the end were better) In the first season of shows, the actors are still trying to get to know their characters. And the actors and audience aren't quite sure where the show will lead them. Doesn't make first seasons bad, some of them are still great. It just means that by a second season, the actors have a better feel for their parts, so they can portray them better... and the writers fall into a rhythm that works more smoothly.

For instance, someone, I think Booky, commented on TNG's first season. I'll admit that the acting got better after season one. However, unlike most fans, I don't hate season one. Actually, some of my favourite episodes come from that season! :))

Does that make sense?

Ha ha yeah the Wraith were definitely freaky. The whole sucking life and wrinkling away at the same time... eurgh! At least with the Goa'uld they just sucked life! :D

Oh yes, it does make sense. It's not your favourite but it's not the worst. /:) :D

But I do really miss O'Neill. He could carry ANY joke. It could it be worst joke ever but he would somehow make it funny. B-)

Avatar: The Boiling Rock Pt 1 & Pt 2

I thought this was great.

Spoiler
Zuko did well in helping Sokka and freeing his father and Suki. Meg, I think is her name, I never did like her until today! I felt terribly bad for her when Zuko left her in the prison cell, but I am happy she understood and still helped him escape. Azula I am happy got betrayed by her, and the pink girl too. Both are in prison now. Pink Girl I don't like still, she only helped Meg. Meg I think is great now and I hope the best for her!!

:( + :)

narnian1- this spoiler's about the episodes you're talking about. It's something you should know already.

Also are you watching the episodes with extras? (if you are you should know what I'm talking about.)

If anybody watches Gossip Girl, I'm so excited for the next season! Well, I like that show because of Blair and Serena's friendship, nothing else. :P

sillygoose,

thanks for the correction on the name, and the other name. Of course I knew it, but I keep forgetting it :p

Zuko, yeah I kinda thought that might still be true. Oh, and no, I am not watching extras, I'm not technically renting the show- Netflix offers it streaming as well so I chose that option, to see the extras I'd have to rent the disc or buy it but no worries there were no spoilers there :) . I think I might buy the show too, but not yet.

EDIT:

Just watched two more episodes of Avatar. I liked one and disliked the other A LOT! What's up with the play? Wasted episode IMO. oh well.. All I have left is the final episode, an hour and a half long (several parts obviously). I will leave this for tomorrow or Friday. I can't believe it's almost over. :(

Thankfully Legend Of Korra is due out next year, unless I'm mistaken. Very good thing I didn't have a 3-4yr wait as everyone else :p

ANOTHER EDIT:

I finished the series. The finale was long, intense, and worth every moment of it.

Spoiler
I know I had seen it several times in the series, but since this was too death- I found it tragic to see Zuko and Azula fight each other, brother against sister. Thankfully neither was killed. Avatar Aang was great, taking bending away from Fire Lord. Zuko being crowned new Fire Lord, terrific. As of early second season I knew I couldn't see him as a villain anymore, I said it before and I was proved right! Yay me! And for me, though Aang in his full Avatar state/power was WOWing, my absolute favorite part of the episode was Zuko crying and asking his uncle for forgiveness, almost made me cry!

Haha I love the play episode. It was hilarious. My brothers and I found it hilarious when

The episodes with extras were on Nickelodeon at like 8:30 each night, I think.

On Zuko and Azula and other things,

I can understand how "The Ember Island Players" might be considered a wasted or filler episode, but in retrospect it was a rather clever way to have a clip show to bring viewers up to speed before the very-intense finale. And I quite liked Toph's reaction to the casting of her character as a big muscular man ("Are you kidding? I wouldn't have cast it any other way!").

(I guess that episode grew on me a little bit, just like "The Cave of Two Lovers" from season 2. Neither is among my favorites, to be sure, but I don't dislike them as much as I do, say, "The Swamp." ;) )

Today I obtained the LOST season 6 DVD set, and tomorrow I'm going to sit back and watch the extras, including "The New Man in Charge" segment. :)

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

stargazer,
"but in retrospect it was a rather clever way to have a clip show to bring viewers up to speed before the very-intense finale"

This is the only good thing about it, I agree completely with this. I figured that's why they did it. And I am sure it was rather useful for people who might have missed or forgotten about some detail. Heck, I had forgotten about some details and when I saw it I was like "OH RIGHT!" But I still didn't like the episode, I would have preferred something more "useful" :p

The Cave of Two Lovers,
yeah. Not my favorite episode, not nearly, but I did love Zuko's portion of the story in it. and The Swamp, I didn't like that one either.

All in all, I would like to buy the show for my collection.

LOST: I need to get the full series for that too.

The Cave of Two Lovers isn't exactly my favorite either, but it was an enjoyable episode especially with the sort of annoying songs XD.

so narnian1, now that you've finished the whole series which episode of Avatar:The Last Airbender is your favorite?

I've only seem them once so it's hard to come up with a favorite episode. I know I loved the Zuko moments, but Aang had some terrific moments too. Then their shared moments were brilliant as well. I would have to see the show again to come up with a favorite episode.

EDIT, 8/30:

I know I just finished the series but I am saddened by that. I miss it. So I have decided to rewatch it a second time, in doing so I can also figure out my favorite episodes. I shall post them.
