Covert Affairs,
Three episodes into the show and I liked this one best. I just can't believe

Spoiler
Diego's sister, Julia. Love sure can be blind. She had to leave the country but still called him up again. and then even after he tried getting her killed she cried over him when he was shot?! For a moment I thought Diego would be killed.

Can't wait for next week.

Hmm... granted I haven't seen anything but promos and sneak peaks of Covert Affairs and White Collar but they seem to me to be pretty samey to other series. Covert Affairs looks like a chick-lite alternative to Alias and White Collar looks only slightly better and more interesting. Both seem to be aimed generally at women. Alias wasn't always the most original series either (but it had it's moments), still it managed to bridge both male and female demographics.

Doctor Who - Season 11

This week's episode of Warehouse 13 definitely hinted at possible

Spoiler
romantic feelings between Pete and Myka more blatantly than ever before. I certainly hope they don't go the X-Files route and drag the "Are they? Aren't they?" thing out over the entire run of the series.

So on this other forum I go to, I have been trying to get one of them to see Covert Affairs. She finally saw the pilot and really liked it. I woke up this morning and had three texts on my phone, first saying:

"I love the blind guy!"

I' m like yeah, that's Auggie, everyone that watches it on the other forum I go, (speaking of narniaweb), really likes him too" :)

Warrior 4 Jesus, I wouldn't say the shows are generally for women, I like both and I'm a guy. I know you didn't say it was *just* for women though. You should check it out if you haven't. You might like it, you might not- but I wouldn't push them aside. But the two shows have their similarities, (3 ep CA vs 1 ep WC I've seen, I agree).

The History Channel is currently running a marathon of its astronomy series The Universe, as a run-up to the new season premiere later this evening.

I'd only seen the occasional episode before, so it's been fun seeing several in a row. They're generally pretty well-done, and present a lot of interesting information in an easy-to-understand format. Episodes focus on one topic, such as liquids in the universe (not only water here, but liquid methane on Titan, liquid hydrogen on Jupiter, etc), pulsars and quasars, ringed planets, and so on.

But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

Narnian1, I may give White Collar and Covert Affairs a go later on, but for now I've got enough series on my plate. But thanks for the recommendation.

Stargazer, that sounds like a really interesting series, even if the topic flies above my head in terms of understanding it. I love the cinematography of nature documentaries. The only downside they have are the evolutionary world-views.

Currently I'm watching Avatar: The Legend of Aang: Earth and Stargate - Season 1 and finishing up my re-watch of Pushing Daisies - Season 1.

Doctor Who - Season 11

How are you enjoying Stargate, Warrior 4 Jesus? It's always been one of my favorite TV series. ;) I'm assuming you mean SG-1, yes?

I watch that show on occasion, stargazer. I haven't seen many but my favorite thus far was on light speed, and what it would be like from the perspective of someone going that fast, as well as someone observing them. Interesting show!

Stargate is a fun little show, though I've not watched more than 20-25 episodes of the whole thing. It's one of those I always meant to rent from Netflix or the library but never got around to it.

Yes, NarnianBadger, I'm referring to Stargate SG-1. It's a fun series but I think I may have come to watch the show a bit late in the game (the production values, story intricacies etc. just have nothing on recent serialised TV). I've been unfavourably comparing it with the Battlestar Galactica reboot (which, in all honesty, is very different but still sci-fi). Stargate SG-1 is good but I think I may have enjoyed more if I'd watched it back in the day.

Futurama is good fun, Chasers is great but can sometimes get much too crude in the humour. Midsommer Murders is fun too and The Gruen Transfer is incredibly clever and insightful TV.

I don't like the politic version of the gruen transfer, One episode is fine but they have having like 5 of them, i think it is going to get boring,. Since i am not a big fan on politics, It is funny how todd and the other guy(forgot his name) never agree. I can remember people use to always laugh if you watched abc but now they have the best shows. Packed to the rafters and futurama are the only shows that i watch that are not on abc or sbs(mighty boosh).

Just started watching Syfy Channel's new show Haven. The pilot episode is pretty much a ripoff of an old X-Files episode, but the characters are good and I thought the next two episodes were an improvement storywise.

This may seem like a stupid question but why are the first episodes called piolt episodes. Is it like when they first go to air like a pilot first goes up in the air?
