Mulder's a candidate? Crazy. :p
I've been noticing the numbers everywhere too.

The Pacific starts tonight, in Australia at the same time as LOST. I'll tape the former and watch the latter.

Doctor Who - Season 11

Does anyone here watch Chuck? It's a really awesome TV show. It's in the third season right now and I'm not sure what station it plays on. It's kind of like one of those serious tv shows except its funny and quite entertaining B-)

I just started watching Chuck this season (on NBC) :) . The show is hilarious. I don't think it's really meant to be serious, definitely more comedic.

I really like Adam Baldwin's character Colonel Casey (which is a LOT like his character in Firefly :D ). And who couldn't like Sarah ;;) ? Those two crazy guys in the Buy More store are a riot.

Haha the show is truly awesome. The Buy More makes me think of Best Buy. And how they did the whole nerd herd thing isntead of geek squad. I thought that was pretty clever. I think it's by far one of the funniest shows I've seen in a while. Quite entertaining as well. I'm caught up now though so I need a new show to watch. I've been thinking maybe Heroes or 24. Any suggestions?

Meh, Heroes was good the first season and everything after that was subpar. I vote Veronica Mars. :D

First season of Heroes was awesome. The others, not as much. Though my dad really, really liked this last one. So far I haven't noticed anything spectacular about it, but we'll see.

I love Veronica Mars. Only I would caution some people because it's very much PG-13. Very mature subject matters.

Veronica Mars is great but it ends quite abruptly in the third season.

Heroes was awesome for the first season, the second was okay, the third was both awful and really good and the fourth was quite a bit better than the third but not as good as the first season.

24 is fantastic but can easily become a tired formula. Try Seasons 1, 2 and 5 - they're the best of the lot (in my opinion). Season 3 is also pretty good. 4 is both okay and at times very good. 6 starts off very well but is pretty blah. 7 has it's moments, as does 8 so far but it seems to be running out of steam (and this is coming from a die-hard 24 fan).

Pushing Daisies is pretty great. It's a comedy drama that borrows much from Dead Like Me (in plot etc.) and the French movie, Amelie (in terms of art direction etc.) Also, for a sci-fi Western try the brilliant but short-lived, Firefly.

But LOST is the best series on TV!

Ditto the recommendation of Pushing Daisies and Firefly. Both brilliant, sadly cut off before their time. I wish I was rich and had my own television channel so I could save all the shows the other channels don't want to bother with.

LOST, not sure if you've seen it or not, if you haven't seen it then definitely this one.

24, my brother just started it this week and is loving it. I have yet to start it.

Heroes, it's good to know mostly everyone agrees with this one. I have been thinking about starting this one instantly on Netflix, will be prepared.

Veronica Mars is an excellent show, first season is the best but the other 2 are amazing too. And I agree it's very much PG 13.

Glee anyone? it's on it's second year now and it's fun to watch, some questionable things in it so I would say PG 13, though not as strong as Veronica Mars.

Glad to see so much Veronica Mars love here! It's so well-written, and Kristen Bell just plain rocks -she seems just as funny and level-headed in real life, too, if her Twitter feed is anything to go by. ;)

My all-time favorite show is still The X-Files. It's the show that proved to me that television could tell some stories better than movies - and Mulder and Scully are still two of the most developed and charismatic small-screen characters I've ever come across.

But my most recent fixation, which I'd definitely call my second-favorite show after The X-Files, is Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles. Nobody gave this show the attention it deserved when it was on the air; seems only now that it's off everyone's starting to realize how good it was. I've been a Terminator fan all my life and even I never expected its mythology could be developed in this way: cerebral, complex, character-driven, even spiritual. Religion is a big theme in the show and it's exceptionally well-handled. Can't recommend it enough.

Anyway, I also have great love for the Whedon shows - Firefly and Buffy especially.

Funny, seems all the shows I'm talking about are cancelled ones - can you tell I don't watch a lot of current TV? I'm even waiting for LOST to finish its run before I catch up. I Netflix everything these days. :P

I just recently got a netflix account. I think it's pretty awesome! It's also really cool how you can watch tv shows and movies online. Anyone watch The Office??

The Office, US. I watch it, for the most part it's an excellent show.
Meredith I don't like, and Angela has one story-line that I disagreed with, otherwise love the show. Pam and Jim are my favorite.

Haven't seen the original UK version.

I don't have cable anymore. I only get about 21 channels. So I don't watch much except Lost, American Idol, and Supernatural.

Sometimes I watch Disney Channel because the station isn't all that fuzzy and I can hear it, but lately Disney Channel has gone down hill. (Disney in General has been going down)

I don't know if a lot of you watch American Idol, but I'm glad to have seen Andy and Katie leave the show at the same time on Wednesday night. Although I cried when Katie started to get emotional I was still happy because now everyone that is in the top seven really deserves to be there and are all unique.

American Idol,
I was happy Andrew left, I never understood why he was so loved in the first place. his "great" performance of a Paula song, wasn't all that.

Katie was fine, not upset she left but I would have liked her to stay.
Michael, I don't like at all. I don't like how he sings and I wish they hadn't used the save on him.

You know, I was torn when Alex was voted off. He was by far my favorite, cut too soon. Right now, my favorite of the girls is Crystal and Tim of the guys, even though he's gotten a lot of criticism. Glad he finally improved these last two weeks so that even Simon praises his performances.
