The strategy worked for the MBW - I got her egg and her web, and have now bought a Fracture Base!

I was lucky to catch a Tritus who dropped me his egg, too - I now only need the Salty Sea, Sand Dollar and Sunken Treasure eggs from Sunken City to fill up this year's quota of new eggs.

I also need the Aether, Chrono, Drheller and Magmatic Golem eggs from earlier years, but I expect to leave those for next year.

Most of the time I've been using various charms, so I haven't been able to charge cycle much - I'll do a little in the Chocolate Factory (just bronzed the Sinister Egg Painter) and follow a treasure map, but I want to have another go at those SC eggs. I have another Monster Trench ahead of me, which might be good - but if I see a real treasure zone, I'll jet up to that, just for the missing eggs.

Finally got my Living Salt egg. I may go back to the warpath and try for the garga egg again. We'll see. That would leave me with the magmatic golem egg as the only I don't have.

After the egg hunt is over, I'm going to go back to the WRift and go after another MBW or two so I can get the upgraded rift base. I'll probably alternate with that and seeing just how deep I can get in the Sunken City. I'm 53,000m in I think and I have like 450 something 02 canisters to go. I am using water jets. I've got 4 more from eggs. I ended up with 7 total. So I'm going to skip a chunk of the 1000m Murky Depths I just started.

I managed to watch about 10 minutes of FBF this morning before I had to leave. Sounds like the new area (unofficially the Fungal Cavern) will be out in the next couple weeks. I guess it is May now, so that sounds about right. Showing spoiler pictures of the cheese as well as a few of the items you'll craft the cheese from sounds like a big version of the King's Gauntlet with crafting instead of potions . I guess that's what the Tribal Isles are....

About to do my last hunting for this event. When I go offline now, I'm not likely to have net access again until tomorrow night - when the event will be over. So I need to make the last setup now such that it will make sense - and not burn up rare charms - even when we're back to normal.

I have just entered my first Sunken Treasure area - 250 m. Or rather, I jetted 130 m into it - I hadn't checked the periscope early enough, but I think it's better to get half of it than nothing. I got a Sunken Treasure Egg on my first hunt there. Later I got a Black Pearl - a really pretty collectible!

I might even get a Sand Dollar Egg as my last new egg, but no Salty Egg, so I'll end up with 104 or 105 out of 110. Better than expected, actually!

In order not to use up all my EACs, I've put most of them up for sale at ten times the normal price. If anyone still buys 120 for 14 mil, I'll let them (but then I think I should ask Michele to check whether the buyer made a mistake ...)

I've smashed 400 Eggstra charms and sold the Dark Chocolate charms from them back to the shop for 2 mil gold. I'm up at 22 mil at the moment - which isn't much if a certain saleswoman turns up soon. I don't need her for a few months

The Fungal Cavern sounds interesting (if they open it for Duchesses) - and I could do with some more passive playing for a while. Then I would finish LG and the Rift when I can play actively.

Well, I'm the proud owner of the School of Sharks trap. I noticed today that my low-ball offer for a Predatory Processor had been accepted on the Marketplace and I had enough Sand Dollars for a 3rd, so I dipped into my Ronza fund of gold and bought the two traps. I'm only 8mil down, so that's not bad at all.

Now that I'm finished with the Sunken City a little sooner than I thought, I may head back to the Burroughs Rift to work on acquiring the second Rift trap, maybe. Not sure I want to spend the gold on it with the new area looming, but I can at least farm the parts for it in case it proves useful in the next Rift area. Plus the Burroughs Rift is supposed to be one of the better areas in the game for gold nowadays, so there's that.

Just waiting for Easter to end, and then I'll be bouncing around. Probably need to farm Treasure Scrolls soon, too, as I'm down to just one regular one.

Well, I enjoyed the lovely boost to my Sand Dollars so much that I stuck it out in the SC for the rest of the event. I'm going to keep going as far as I can on this dive, and hope I can finish collecting the SDs and last Predatory Processor I need for the School of Sharks. Other than that, my goals are to get another MBW or two to collect what I need for the Fissure Base. I'm not planning on buying or crafting any of these until I have a better gold buffer. I can't even afford it all just yet.

Of all of these eggs, I'd say I looted multiples from most of them but I smashed them all as they came in, so I won't post a loot list. But overall, it was a very nice haul as usual. I looted TONS of Sand Dollars out of Sunken Treasure eggs. I think when I started Easter I was just over 800 SD out of the 1600 required for both traps, and during Easter I was able to loot enough SD to not only reach 1600, but to fund one Predatory Processor with SD (525 SD) and if the event had gone on another week I probably could have funded the second one as well, lol. Anyway, thanks Devs for making the Sunken City much less of a grind than I thought it was going to be.

I've come to the conclusion that I like the Wrift just fine, but I don't think it likes me very much. Or at least not much when it comes to MBW. I've crafted 8 pieces of LLC so far, but have only managed to catch 4. I've had attractions on all the other pieces, but they were FTC's. I feel like that's a really bad ratio for the Wrift but I haven't done too much research to check. My last run at her went REALLY badly; I didn't watch my horn closely enough and ended up maxing out of 50 in one meter while the other ones were in the high 20's/high 30's. Needless to say I did not catch her. I probably should have just abandoned the run at that point but I thought the hard part about MBW's at low rage was attracting her, not catching her. Maybe I got it mixed up but still, it was a little frustrating.

That being said, I can't complain TOO much because normally I have no cause to complain about DHU so when it does come, I accept that it is what it is, haha.

I'm two webs away from being able to upgrade my rift base. So I'm currently bouncing between the Wrift and the SC. I've got 900 sand dollars and I do have the gold for the first of the traps, but I haven't had any of the predatory processors drop. I've got 400 o2 canisters remaining, so I'll stay on this dive for awhile. I'm going to hold off on getting the first of the shark traps until I either get 18 mill in gold on top of the 30 mill I have now or something forces my hand where I need a stronger hydro trap.

Not knowing when Ronza's going to come or how much the new area will cost, I think what I will plan on doing is farm gold for a bit and try and keep around a 30mill base in gold overall (give or take). That way I have a cushion regardless of what the Devs throw at us.

Totally forgot to tell Gymmie congrats on that School of Sharks trap! That's very cool! I use that one a lot more than I thought I would, and not just for Toxic Spills. I never realized how many top level areas are Hydro.

And congrats to everybody that picked up ridiculously difficult eggs that they were going for this year.

Ditto. I've definitely reached the point in my life where passive playing is better, even though I personally enjoy the interactive areas more. I missed a MBW yesterday because I got distracted at an inopportune moment.

I managed to come back online before the event ended, so I got eggs on a couple of the trap checks. I spent all the jet charms I had (from the Bubbling eggs) on searching for Treasure zones, but I still have a couple thousand Oxygen, so I can use lots of my barnacles etc for new jet charms when I want them.

I think I'm placed in a Monster Trench at the moment - or close to one - so perhaps I should spend some of the extra luck there ...

But right now I'm hunting in LG instead, and the extra luck to improve the catchrate and the Hothouse base to double the petal drops is making it a lot of fun. I'm about to go for King Grub, and when I've got another 15 Lunaria petals, I'll go for the Twisted Carmine.

I have 1 Gur and 2 Hix essences, and 67 - 26 - 37 of the ABCs. I may get my next Icuri soon - but I'll need two more for the Rift Base ...

For next year's Egg Hunt, I have 6 eggs yet to be found. Aether, Chrono, Drheller, Magmatic Golem, Salty, and Sand Dollar eggs. More preparations to be done - eventually.

Got the fissure base! Now I'm heading back to the BRift to farm calcified mist for a little bit. Then I will head back to the sunken city and try and finish my current dive. That's my plan for the moment until the new are opens up. I need to farm gold to replace what I spent on the Fissure base. With all the rift areas and likely more to come, I figured that base was probably the wisest of the trap upgrades for me at the moment.

I now have 2 Icuri - one mainly from the Spring Egg Hunt, and the other entirely from the Bonus Luck Week (including a streak of 4 Twisted Carmines on 4 consecutive trap checks - that's something to find first thing in the morning ).

And I have a good supply of ABCs as well, and am currently collecting herbs and petals for another batch of Lunaria - then to go for Twisted Carmines again

I'm having a break, hunting in the new area for a while - but I'll only have a "look around" before I go back to LG. I need the Rift Base and then the Fissure Base, as part of the best equipment for the high rank areas ...

With the new area being a hydro area. . . . I dropped about 30 million gold and got the school of sharks trap (plus my leviathan skin!). I still have 14 million gold, so I should be okay if Ronza shows up. . . honestly, I thought she would herald in this new area.

I was originally using my T-Rex trap, but this year's birthday trap is a better forgotten trap. So far I'm approaching this area as I approached the gauntlet. . . farm a little for each area.

I'm trying to determine how long this area is going to take, because I got 70 pieces of Glowing Gruyere in less than 24 hours. My goal was to get 100 pieces before moving on, and since my golden shield was running out today, I went ahead and bought the last few pieces of Nightshade I needed and hit 100. We'll see how this next level goes.
