My dive is at an end. I'm now back in the city farming oxygen. I've got over 650 pieces of FF through which to burn, so I'll be here for a while if anybody wants to run through any city tournies.

After a long round of sea floors and shipwrecks, I'm coming to my first ever mermouse den, murky depths, and lost ruins. I'm at 8960m and I still have 710 o2 to go. I've used 4 water jets. I'm going to hold off getting anymore because I want to get ff supplies.

11:55 am - Sunken City

Having run out of Oxygen Canisters, I returned to the Sunken City to stock up on more after traveling 31,100 meters.

During this dive, I visited 3 Shallow Shoals, 1 Coral Reef, 1 Rocky Outcrop, 1 Sand Dollar Sea Bar, 9 Sea Floors, 4 Pearl Patches, 4 Coral Gardens, 5 Mermouse Dens, 1 Shipwreck, 14 Haunted Shipwrecks, 10 Coral Castles, 8 Sunken Treasures, 17 Murky Depths, 10 Lost Ruins, 2 Deep Oxygen Streams and 1 Monster Trench.

@Varna and DiGs, yeah, I was pretty stoked to place in the top 25% of the tourny. I got two Trituses too! Brings my total to four, but no processors. However, I see another Monster Trench coming up shortly on my dive.
Just about done with a 500m Sunken Treasure. 395 Sand Dollars.

He seems to have visited the smallest number of zones at the shallow levels, and the most zones at the deepest level - does this indicate that he used Jet charms? I used two of those during the tourney. They take some of your loot, but when you use them wisely, I suppose you earn more than they cost you.

I started this Oxygen farming run with 298 FF - I'm down at 213 and have got 164 Oxygen. I should end up with roughly 600 - only about half of what you told us about, but it ought to take me past the 10,000 meters mark.

Oxygen farming is great for passive playing. I ought to do some rather passive playing for a while, and Oxygen farming can be safely left to trap checks. (Unless there is a good tourney )

Diving is more interesting, though - when you're ready to dive ...

Coral Castle is the coral zone down at your level. Some of the mice there drop orbs or scrap metal as well as coral.

I reckon I ought to reach somewhere between 15,000 and 18,000 m if I get 600 o2 on my current farming run. It will be my first dive beyond 10,000 - and I'm currently halfway through my pile of FF and have got 318 o2.

Well, part of that is because by the time he reached 10km he still had well over half of his o2 left. But yes, he jetted through the majority of the Shallow Shoals/Sea Floors/Murky Depths because you just don't get as much loot to drop there. I've seen other theories on the forums about better uses of water jet charms, but this one worked well for both of us.

Nope, coral doesn't drop past 10km.
Kidding, kidding! Yes, there are the Coral Castle, Murky Depths, and Sunken Treasure areas that drop coral.

I had a very successful Monster Trench last night. Snagged another Tritus and Ancient of the Deep and low and behold the Ancient was the mouse that dropped my first Predatory Processor. Yay! So there's one out of three for the upgraded trap that I'm a ways off from getting.
As far as Sand Dollars are concerned, I am wrapping up another Sunken Treasure area right now and am up to 426 dollars. I know I won't get the trap this run, but I definitely will on the next one which makes me very happy. 162 o2 left, should wrap up this dive sometime Friday.

ETA: Oh yes, I also made it past 25km, so we'll see if I get either one of those two rare areas.

Love the update to the mobile app. It actually tells you more than clicking on the sub on the browser does as to what's ahead. Apparently I do have a Coral Castle coming up, but I'm in the middle of a 750 m Murky Depths and I have another one coming up.

Interesting. I can see more via the sonar on the game. But maybe the game shows the next 1,500m (estimate) and the app shows the next three areas after the one you're currently in. So if you are plagued with several 750 and 500m, you'll see more on the app vs the game, and if you have lots of 250m areas (like I do currently), you see more in the game. Good to know that both can be of use.

I've got a Coral Castle ( Yay! ) 500 m and a 250 Sunken Treasure (yay!) coming up.

I've went through about 150 Fishy Fromage and have already stockpiled 328 oxygen canisters. With 470+ pieces of cheese to go my next dive should have well over 1,000 oxygen canisters, and should carry me beyond the 25km mark.

During this dive, I visited 2 Rocky Outcrops, 2 Shallow Shoals, 1 Coral Reef, 1 School of Mice, 8 Sea Floors, 8 Coral Gardens, 5 Shipwrecks, 4 Mermouse Dens, 2 Oxygen Streams, 1 Carnivore Cove, 1 Pearl Patch, 7 Sunken Treasures, 18 Murky Depths, 8 Haunted Shipwrecks, 11 Coral Castles, 11 Lost Ruins and 4 Monster Trenches

I've finally about equalized on the coral, scales, and barnacles. I'm EAC'ing (and Digs, you aren't the only one who thinks that!) my way through a Sunken Treasure. I've got a Lost Ruins and a Coral Castle coming up. I'm going to drop the EACs though after the Sunken Treasure and just keep going.

I've got 476 o2 left and I'm at 13370m.

I'm switching over to crafting FF without the magical essence. I'm going through too much of my SB for my tastes. I'm also going to stop crafting it when I hit the 500 mark and then just gather drops for the base, traps, and water jet charms.

About a third of my Fishy Fromage is gone, and I've already gotten over 500 oxygen. I'm getting a ton of DLU by nabbing quite a few Oxygen Barons. It would be awesome if I got 1500 canisters before running out entirely
