Yeah... I'm no where near having enough Sand Dollars for everything. I haven't had very many Treasure areas lately. I'm hoping for more in the third level.

Not much to report on for the past few days, but I figured I'd bump this thread anyways cause I'm BORED.

I'm over halfway through my massive stash of FF cheese. I have less than 200 to go, but it'll still be the weekend before I can dive again. I'm estimating that I'll have between 800-900 o2 when I finish but I'm thinking about going ahead and crafting a few more cheese to bump it over 1,000 o2. We'll see.

How's everybody else doing?

I have 77 FF and 78 Oxygen (and 7 Sand Dollars) and have been preparing my 2nd or 3rd dive. I only need 6 more million points to be able to use the Tidal Base, which I won't be able to buy for a long time yet, and which in my opinion is the prettiest base in all of Gnawnia.

But currently I'm in Living Garden (Twisted Garden) with 247 Duskshade Camembert, working on my Phantasmic trap.
At the moment I have 24 Aleth, 13 Ber, 10 Cynd, 1 Dol, 1 Est, 2 Fel, 2 Gur, and 1 Hix Essences. I have caught 6 King Grub and 1 Twisted Carmine.

I went offline for a couple of days, only went in to do one hunt per day - for that period I parked in the Pinnacle Chamber with 11 hundred OG cheese. I have 5 million gold, and 3 of those are needed for the Phantasmic trap. I think I'll do a lot of diving when I get it, rather than working on the other LG traps right away ...

I'm doing okay. I'm getting a ton of DHU with the areas I'm getting. I've gotten more shipwrecks than ANYTHING (that includes sea floors/shallow shoals). I've got such an excess of barnacles! 383 barnacles, 2 fish scales, and 97 coral! Thankfully, I've got a small coral garden and a large mermaid den coming up. Hopefully that'll even things out a bit.

I'm at a depth of 8,670 meters, and I've only burnt through 270 of my oxygen (I have used 3 jet charms though). If I keep up this rate, I should break past the 10,000 meter mark before the end of the day.

I've got over 200 sand dollars now. Excited that I'm over halfway to the tidal base.

That's about all I can think of concerning my progress.

EDIT: Oh yeah, we're also in the top 25% of a three day deep diving tournie

Well after the Devs handed out a couple more Sand Dollars today, I have exactly 400, which is what I need for the base. But I have decided to wait, yes, wait, to buy it. The reason is because unlike my husband who has been showered with Sunken City DLU, I have received a whole lotta DHU for my time spent here.

I know for a fact that if I bought the base now, I'd be greeted with dozen or so Shallow Shoals and Sea Floors, and I'd be stuck muddling through them. Plus, my catch rate is so high right now, I don't see much benefit until after 10km. So I am going to wait for now and get a bit of a buffer on sand dollars, but then the base shall be mine.

1500 meters of Murky Depths. . . . . Yup, this is DHU at its finest. I don't know if I wanna use my last aqua jet charm, or just tough it out.

I know I used 'em. That's a whole lot of murky depths. Ouch.

Just about done farming oxygen. I will be diving as soon as my tournament is done in 5 hours. Yaaaayyyy! Farming o2 is so boring.
Maybe they'll give me a Sea Bar this time so I can get that Sand Dollar Diver finally. I actually thought about diving and resurfacing a couple times to try to force it, but it's probably not worth wasting the 10o2 to do that.

Double posting to say that I got my Tidal Base this morning, yay!!! I have 10 sand dollars remaining to apply towards charms for the Sea Floors. 790 dollars to go till my trap.

Also noting with great interest, last night my husband went through a Deep Oxygen Stream and I have a regular Oxygen Stream coming up. I'm going to assume that there's a third one for the opening levels, and that accounts for areas 19, 20, and 21 that I was missing from my list of underwater areas.

I'm currently at a depth of 13,320 metres, with 387 oxygen to go. I've got ANOTHER 500 metre murky depths coming up after I finish up with this coral castle, so I'll be using my last aqua jet charm so that I can get to the sunken treasure area after it

I'm only up to 244 sand dollars. . . kinda disappointed with that total Here's hoping that I can get enough for my tidal base before the end of this dive (which would take some luck and some DLU)

How's that Sunken Treasure working out for you DiGs? Hopefully it's increasing your sand dollar count by a lot. I know it did for me.

If my count is correct, I just got a profit of 48 o2 canisters from the Oxygen Stream. Wow! Add that on to what I started with, and I have almost 1,000 hunts. Yay!

It was definitely helpful to be sure. The treasure area was only 250 metres in length, and I ended up nabbing 46 sand dollars in that time. So if I encounter a 500 metre treasure area, or two 250 metre areas I might get my tidal base.

I am in a predator zone now. I've gotten all of the mice here except for Tritus, which I've missed twice. I've got one more hunt before moving on to a mouse scale location (which I desperately need!) so we'll see if I nab him.

I just started my 3rd dive with 1048 o2 canisters. I've got Shallow shoals, feeding ground, shallow shoals, and rocky outcrop ahead. I've not gotten any of these on the first two dives. As soon as I can get enough stuff, I'll buy and arm water jet charms in an effort to get past the 8000+m I hit last time.

Just a wee update on me. I'm officially in Passive Play mode, thanks to a big move across the Pacific that will render me pretty busy for a long time. I wanted to clean up a few loose ends before I default to the occasional horn call, so I went back to the LG and was able to nab the remaining Hix I needed to have all the ingredients for the Rift Base. I'm not crafting it yet since I lack the gold for the blueprints, but at least I have the Icuri so it will be ready to go as soon as I need it.

I just dove for the 3rd time with 775ish O2. I peeked ahead and I've got a Sand Dollar Bar coming up soon, which is nice.

Once life starts to get really busy and I can't tend my horn, I'll probably head to Furoma to use up the pile of Rumble I've been accumulating. The Sunken City is the best place to play passively right now, BUT you've got to mix it in with actual dives which are a little harder to do passively (If you don't want to accidentally fly through Treasure areas like I did by accident the last time I dove, because I was busy). So we'll see. I'll probably mix it up to keep it interesting, but will mostly stick to things that don't require a lot of attention.

ETA: Totally forgot that the reason I needed that Icuri was so I could craft a Shattering Charm so I could get my King Scarab and THEN get the Rift base. Whoops! lol. Heading back real quick; shouldn't take *too* long.

I fell asleep over my computer as I was hunting with 37 Lunaria Camembert in Twisted Garden after a tourney - and woke up to finding (from trap checks and friends' hunts) 4 Twisted Carmines with their Living Chests.

They gave me 2 Fel Essences and 4 Gur Essences. As I had 2 Hix essences in my inventory, this was enough to get me my Phantasmic Oasis Trap

I've armed it and switched to the Festive Phantasmic Oasis Skin (which I'll never use again) to finish up my Lunaria - and then I'll upgrade it to Chrome and move to Sunken City

I've got 3 more Twisted Carmines and Living Chests with 3 more Gur Essences already - this is getting fun

Nice Varna. That's a very high attraction and catch rate. And congrats on your Chrome Oasis. Definitely a big plus to the LG areas, the Toxic Spill, and the Sunken City.

Just posting a brief update that I've been kindly given two Sunken Treasure areas that weren't quite back to back, but in between was a 500m Murky Depths which I skipped over with a charm. It's definitely been a nice boost to my supplies (specifically scales), but more importantly, my Sand Dollars. Past 100 of them now, so I'm 1/8 of the way to the trap.
I also see a Coral Castle off in the distance. Hoping to snag the Turret Guard which is one of the two mice I'm still missing.

I accidentally ran across a spoiler on the MH Wiki today that probably everybody but me knows about. There are two more areas that are past the 25,000m line. I don't know how common they area, but I think I have enough O2 to just make it there to check it out. Good to know for future runs, but that means an even longer stay in the Sunken City. I'll probably be aiming for 600FF by the end of this run.
