Congrats Digs on the 22,000 posts!
I just resurfaced on my first dive.
Made it to 2510m
Still have 22 O2
Got enough stuff to craft 156 fishy fromage
Still have: 61 DC, 2 S, and 123 B.
24 Sand Dollars.I ended up in a shipwreck and a pearl patch. The Pearl section was fairly short.
Edit: already up to 73 O2 and I still have 130 or so ff.
Edit: up to 104 with 114 ff. I'm guessing the dramatic increase is due to the lucky weekend?
I crafted about 60-70 FF after my last dive, and I got about 175ish O2 with that much FF. Definitely a really good return. I'm hunting with Gouda to try and get up to 300 before my next dive.
ETA: According to my Mice page, I caught 5 Oxygen Barons, and those things drop a TON of O2...9-10 canisters each. So that's a pretty good haul right there. I don't know if I caught all 5 since my last dive, but I definitely caught a few.
Ah ok. Thanks Gymmie.
I'm up to 170 O2 and I have 89FF left. So maybe I should top out around 300 or so?
^^ I should think so. I'm up to 200 O2 and hoping the last 100 doesn't take too long with Gouda. Definitely makes a difference when you're only getting 1-2 per drop instead of an average of 3.
Kat, I'm guessing you'll be closer to 400 total than 300. I seem to get 2-2.5 oxygen per piece of cheese, so that's how I'm figuring your numbers.
I could get used to these Water Jet Charms. I completely skipped over a 500m Shallow Shoals. At the end of my first 24 hours of deep sea exploration, I have made it 2,610m using 83 oxygen. I was honestly hoping to be farther than that for the big tournament tomorrow. I don't know if we'll have much of a chance of placing without one of us being in the deep waters, but hey, we're all on and hunting, it's worth a shot.
I'm done with the Larry's Football Challenge event. Scored 145 gold nets and ended up restocked on ULC and UPCs. (I had used almost all of my UPCs in the Rift.) Not to mention my now bottomless supply of orbs. I won't be needing any of those any time soon. Wonder if I can sell some for the upcoming traps I'm going to need?
I've got a very large coral garden coming up. I'll probably resurface after I finish it, because I won't have enough Oxygen to get to another good area. I'm going to buy at least one (maybe 2) jet charms. I'll have almost 400 pieces of FF, so I should be in really good shape to reach 10,000 meters on my next dive.

I'm done as well - scored 136 gold nets. I got almost a hundred UPCs and more than a hundred ULCs - and more than a hundred King's Credits
Orbs - let me see ... I now have
1236 Flawed Orbs
1624 Simple Orbs
1175 Flawless Orbs
Yes, it might be worth trying to sell some of them - I doubt that I'll be making that many charms
I've played in the Rift a little - getting crystals to buy Living Essences. One of the best bags had 12 As and 3 Cs
I'll bronze the Goliath next.
It's a different way of collecting essences than in LG, but I doubt that it is any faster. For the ordinary mice I use Super Cactus charms with the Crystal Tower, and the catch rate is good (the drop rate for potions, not quite as good).
For Goliath I use UPCs. The catch rate is said to be about 40%.
I'll soon go back to King Grub and Twisted Carmine, though. I'm close to a H essence - still a long way to an I and the Phantasmic trap ...

As far as orbs go, I've got:
Flawed: 1171
Simple: 1533
Flawless: 464
Divine: 84
So if y'all are interested in selling some of your flawless orbs (and would give me a discounted rate for sheer awesomeness ) I'd be willing to pay for some.
I bought two water jet charms, so my next dive should be pretty good. I'll also have about 400 pieces of Fishy Fromage, so I'm hoping that'll turn into enough Oxygen to make it past the 10 KM zone
EDIT: Oh, and also. . . this place is awesome for leveling up. I think I've gotten 4% closer to Grand Duke since it opened up!

Yeah, the Rift is too, if not a little better. Though neither can touch the Toxic Spill. Leveling is my primary goal right now (93.62% AHHH!!), after that, I'll focus on making gold in addition to getting the rest of the mice/base/traps in the Sunken City.
Posting this for my own personal info from my own personal observations, though I'm sure others may want to know this info.
Goal = 20000m
100 o = 2500m
1FF = 2 o
3scales = 2FF
So without using SB+ or speed adjusting charms, I need approximately 600 scales, coral, and barnacles each to achieve that distance.
ETA: Thank goodness I am finally in the middle of a Mermouse Den and have a second one coming up. My supplies are so out of proportion it's not even funny. Need Scales BADLY. The good news is that I've had a lot of Carnivore Coves so far this run and I got my Carnivore mouse. Still need that silly Sand Diver.
What is the best way to get Sand Dollars? My number of them seems fixed at 13. And since you need multiple hundreds to get the traps and bases, I need a faster way of getting them.

The quickest way to get them is to use empowered anchor charms in any treasure area (sand dollar sea bar and pearl patch). Past the 2500 metre mark, you get a lot more drops as well (in non-treasure areas I mean).

What DiGs said. I just got done doing a Mermouse Den and several of the mice dropped one or two sand dollars. I anticipate once I make it past 10,000m that the drops will increase even more.
Started dive #2 with just over 360 o2 canisters. One of the red dot areas is first. Bother. Looks short though. Any tips on surviving it?
The Feeding Grounds isn't too bad. I just do a decent charm with either the GTB or Rift Base. When you get to Carnivore Cove, it's a little more difficult, and I do go with a powerful trap setup on that one. Seems to work better.
Thanks. I've got a school of mice section coming up after the feeding grounds.
Current totals:
329 O2
950m
75 DC
20 S
138 B
Edit @ 11:37 a.m.:
I've had a nice run in the school of mice section. I'm currently up to 77 scales. I've got a no name section next, a small school of mice section, and then I enter carnivore cove for the first time if the inspect element thing. Edit @ 1:30 p.m.: 114 scales.
Edit @ 9:40 p.m.:
281 O2
2250m
84 DC
164 S
149 B
End of my second round of 100 O2. I am now 6,430m. I used two Water Jet charms today because for some reason they keep giving me 300m Sea Floor areas. Blegh. My gamble is that by spending the supplies on Water Jet charms to skip the worthless sea floor areas, I'll accumulate more goodness later on to make up for it... at least I sure hope so.
