Congratulations on the rib. I've got one last regular trap to get. Then I can worry about the rib. The spice plants are cool. I don't have a lot of wild tonic right now.
Thanks Kat
I think I have maxed out on goodness from Big Jaq. I don't want to spend any more Wild Tonic on her supplies, or SB+/Magic Essence for that matter. But that was very nice of the Devs to send her our way to recoup some of the supplies spent hunting the mice there.
I'm almost up to 10mil gold again. 11.5mil and I'll be halfway there with the gold I need to get the final trap. As for the other three, as they're on par with the School of Sharks, Chrome Sphynx, and Chrome Monstrobot, I'm going to hold off getting them for the moment. However, I do have the supplies for the Queso Fount and Gouging Geyser, as well as 2/3 Geyser Smolder Stones for the Smoldering Stone Sentinel trap.
I'm very close to being done with this region. Just need to get the supplies on hand, as well as a good supply of all the different kinds of cheese ready for the Egg Hunt in the spring, as well as treasure maps.
I've bought some leaves with Magic essences, but I don't have enough Bland Queso to buy spice plants (other than one or two of each when they first came). I've bought Wild Tonic to get double sets of kegs (and using it on the eruptions at the same time) - I really need the Bland Queso.
I have Tungsten for one or two more Epic eruptions, but there's no real need to use lots of Wildfire for them, as I now have all the traps. (Great that you managed to find a rib, fantasia! ) I'm tempted to go for Queen Quesada for a while - her Unstable Ember Gadgets can give large amounts of Bland cheese, if you're lucky.
Selling my rib and waiting for the price to go down enough to buy it back, would have given me more gold - but I couldn't be sure when the price would go down, and as it is, I have been able to use the better trap for all this time. So I'm quite satisfied with the choice I made, after all.
(I wouldn't mind finding a second rib to sell, though. )

I am now the proud owner of my own Dragon Slayer Cannon (yay!) so i can check that off the list.
And I will now be farming lots and lots of gold to get back up to where I was before. That might take a while as I was over 100mil gold and now have 1.9 mil gold. Haha!
I will say this though, it really hurt to smash my Chrome Dragon Slayer trap.
I've been playing pretty passively...been mostly in Queso Canyon working on trying to get that dang Rib...and then one day I did the math and realized that with all the gold I've been spending on tonic/dust, I could have straight up bought a rib ages ago. It's ok, the hunting has been fun, lol. But I've officially switched gears and now I'm farming gold/selling excess stuff so I can just buy a rib and be done well before event season starts.
I'm also veeeerrry close to Elder! About 2% left I think. Should be there very soon.
Today I caught my first Mobster!
I guess it's because of the Luck Event - now I only hope there might be lucky drops of Leps as well
I've been working on silvering some Tribal Isles mice, and then I do Queso Treasure Maps in between. I hope to get a gold crown for the Queen Quesada eventually.

I just have to ask, what's this thread about? More importantly, should I be running?
Seriously though, the intro post on this thread doesn't say much about the game, apart from that it involves eggs (sounds more like ChickenHunt to me lol). I visited the website, and it was just a login/create account screen. There was no other info.
Yes, I'm a mouse... I mean, a geek!
Mousehunt is an app/facebook game set in the land of Gnawnia (the name is one of the things that made me start playing). Players hunt mice that are taking over the kingdom. This is done by acquiring various traps and cheeses and a few extra goodies along the way. The eggs mentioned at the start of this topic are from the Easter event where mice often drop eggs that contain various loot.
A LOT of Narniawebbers have been playing it over the years, hence the reason for having its' own thread instead of clogging up the video games thread.
Sounds like a fun game! I don't do Facebook but I'll definitely have to check out the app. I get what you're saying about the video game thread (and thanks for that cuz I like to post there sometimes, lol). I wonder why that game is so popular with NarniaWebbers.
But anyway, nice to finally "meet you", Dot! I've heard you on the Talking Beasts podcast but didn't know you were a mod here. Thank you for all you and the rest of the NarniaWeb team do for us. I've only been on here a few weeks, but it's been totally awesome!
PS: Gnawnia? Seriously? That is hilarious, but so cheesy... hmmm, is that cheese? Uh-oh, I'd better get out of here. Happy hunting, everyone!

I've been amused at the new update to the profile/King's Crowns. I'm currently 43 Sandwing Cavalry mice away from a Diamond Crown. And convienently I'm on a map that needs a Caravan Guard. So I'm ticking them off a few at a time.
Actually watched segments of FBF today. Saw lots of spoilers for the up and coming Valor Rift area. It was interesting hearing them talk about some of the issues they've had designing the area. Also interesting was hearing that the area will have the best-in-game Rift trap, the best-in-game base (bye, bye Minotaur Base), and best-in-game Codex (forgot this existed ).
They also said they hope to get the area out right before Halloween, and then the Halloween event will tie in with the new area so we won't have to leave it right after it opens to go to a different event.
Meanwhile, I'm just continuing to rebuild my gold stockpile, which is going well... back up to almost 40mil gold... and working on maps and other randomness. Will need to get back to Queso Canyon soon to make sure I'm in good position there for any upcoming event season things.
All is well in MH land...I ended up buying a Rib off the MP; stupid how fast it was once I decided I was going to do that instead of continually farming...ah well.
I'm also an Elder now!
Been working on stocking up on Auras, and also restocking my gold...can't remember the last time I "only" had 22m lol!
I'm collecting Rift Distortions in Bristle Woods Rift, and doing very well so far - I've mostly been in Timewarp Chambers since I went in (starting a new run) earlier today, and got 52 Time Sand and 340 Rift Distortions. Perhaps I can try an Acolyte Chamber again without being in any of the usual rooms first?
I'm on a map that still needs the AA. When we've finished it, I might try a run in the Furoma Rift - the top mice there should be good for Distortions, too.
"I caught a 13 oz. Chronomaster Mouse worth 170,000 points and 20,000 gold. The mouse also dropped the following loot: 4 Time Sand, and 17 Rift Distortions."
Which shows that roughly 10,000 points give 1 Distortion. Perhaps the Goliath Field Mouse is worth going back to, too - 119,000 points should give 12 Distortions.

I've mostly been ignoring the Rift because I was working on getting the Minotaur base and then switched to Queso Geyser for the past however long it's been because the Labyrinth can get frustrating really fast. Guess it's time to get back to working on those Grand Duchess achievements so I can be at least somewhat farther along when the new location comes out.
because I was working on getting the Minotaur base
Do you have all of the Shiny Precious Gold you need? I have extras and I'm more than happy to share.
I collected my Valor Rift map piece this morning. Ready for the new area.
