I've seen advertisements on TV for something called "Eggies". Basically the commercial is saying that it takes forever to peel a hard boiled egg. And with the Eggies product, you can hard boil many eggs at a time, and you lift the cap off and the egg is peeled. This morning I had a hard boiled egg for breakfast, and I peeled the shell off in like 15 seconds...

Also today my dad and I went garage sale hunting, and at the house of my brother's friend, we found this product from Lord of the Rings.

I thought it would be cool, but my dad said no.

OK, for those of you who don't know, MouseHunt is a Facebook game that quite a few of us here on NW play. You've probably seen the thread about it: it's consistently on the front page and is one of the most popular threads in the Spare Oom.

Anyway, so I searched on iTunes trying to see if there was a MouseHunt app available. An album entitled MouseHunt popped up with the MouseHunt logo as the cover art. I though that was really weird so I clicked on it. It's an album of six songs about this Facebook game! And it was released by HitGrab, the company that makes MouseHunt.

The songs have lyrics about needing more/buying more SuperBrie (a type of cheese used in the game), never leaving for more than fifteen minutes (how long it takes until you can hunt again), saving up gold, waiting for the Acolyte (a hard to catch mouse), convincing with cheese, impressing (we aren't told who, presumably a girl??) with a mouse trap, giving someone cheese, cleaning out the rodents, waiting on a mouse, and following someone from the harbour to the woods (two locations within the game). (No, I didn't buy the album. I just listened to the clips on iTunes)

The songs are titled Impress You, The King, Hero, I Will Wait, Ronza, and Snap. The album has 14 ratings: all of them giving it 5 stars.

Seriously, did you ever hear of such a thing? An album of songs based on a Facebook game? What is this world coming to?

My wife and I travelled up to Wisconsin a few weeks ago and I saw this exact thing in the Skymall magazine! I even showed it to my wife (who thoroughly doesn't understand or approve of my zombie fandom) and she said no, so I put the magazine back in the little behind the seat pouch and pouted the rest of the trip.

I have a mouse pad with a picture of a puppy on it. You can see the picture because the mouse is only about 1/7 the size of the pad.

That's a big mouse pad mine is small. and I never look at my mouse pad I look at my screen.
