Has anyone seen the commercial with the actor that plays Miles' dad? It's a beer commercial.
I first saw it during this year's Super Bowl. I pointed at the screen and said, "That's Doctor Chang!" but no one else there watched Lost so they didn't know what I was talking about.
LOST can't end!!!!
Some of my friends have been watching from season 1. For them, this is especially bittersweet. I've only been watching the last 3 seasons regularly (after seeing the first 3 in short order during Sci-Fi's orginal airing of the series).
As jo mentioned, we'll be glad to leave this thread open into June to allow everyone to post their comments about "The End" and discuss it with the other fans here.
Here in the US, ABC is promoting this "Lost Finale Weekend" pretty heavily. A few minutes ago they began airing the "enhanced" version of the series pilot, containing text commentary elaborating on details seen on screen (though the comments are not necessarily considered canon by the writers). So far the comments seem to be weighted heavily to season 6 developments (along with introductory remarks as each character appears on-screen for the first time). It's fun seeing it again - everyone looks so young - especially knowing what we know now about what's happened to these characters.
Tomorrow a 2-hour recap will air before the 2.5-hour finale, with another hour on Jimmy Kimmel Live coming late-night. That's one last big Lost fix.
One last friendly reminder: please remember to use spoiler boxes when talking about "The End." Everyone's been very good about this, so this is just a helpful reminder amidst the enthusiasm and excitement of the finale.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I've been watching LOST since Season 1 first aired (in Australia). The series has been a big part of my life for almost six years. The ending will be both amazing and bitter-sweet. It's been a great ride.
7Chronicles, thanks for sharing the Dharma labels link. I love how there are labels even for tomatoes!

7Chronicles, thanks for posting that link to the DI foods labels. I'm already secretly planning on converting my pantry into a "hatch" filled with lots of Dharma Initiative comestibles. The wife is going to love it, especially after I plant one right on her beloved salsa con queso jar!
Kennel Keeper of Fenris Ulf
LOL! That’s great Shadowlander, I’d love to see her face when she opens the pantry! Glad you can use them!
I’m watching the Lost Pilot enhanced episode right now, and like stargazer said, it’s interesting to watch again, especially knowing what’s going to happen to all of the character thus far!
I started watching LOST right after season four had ended, my uncle lent us the first three seasons on DVD, from episode one we were all hooked, we stayed up so late watching episode after episode! After we finished season three we watched season four online.
It took us three weeks to finish all four season, then season five came on, it was the first time watching it on TV for me. Waiting a week was agonizing and the commercials drove and still drive me nuts!
I feel like I’ve known LOST for a much longer time, it’s such an amazing show!
It’s more like a really long movie, but better because you get so much more character depth because it’s a TV show!
After it’s all said and done, if all of my questions aren’t answered I think I can live because for me the characters we have all come to know and love is what makes this show to me!
I don’t know if everyone here has my type of humor , but here are a few Jimmy Kimmel Lost videos to hopefully cheer us up a bit. He is a huge fan of LOST!
Jimmy reads the first original pitch for LOST to Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse, starts at 1:57 (I think it's the real pitch, but sometimes I can't tell if their joking )
Jimmy Kimmel in the Lost 100th Episode special. The quality isn’t that great, there used to be a clearer video but I couldn’t find it. (Jimmy placed himself in the episode instead of Daniel Faraday)
Jimmy Kimmel’s commercial for the new Lost game, starts at 1:01 (This makes me laugh so much, every time I see it! I can‘t believe they got the Mark Pellegrino (Jacob) and Titus Welliver (MIB) to do it! )
... re=channel
I’m looking forward to seeing Jimmy Kimmel’s Aloha to LOST after the Finale!
The Value of myth is that it takes all the things you know and restores to them the rich significance which has been hidden by the veil of familiarity. C.S. Lewis
So we are going to have a LOST party on Sunday for the Finale just me, my sister and my mom and dad!
That sounds like so much fun!
Ceppault's working so I'll be home alone having my own party!
Love God, love people
I know it won't interest all Lost fans but here's the whole New York Times Live special with the main writers, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse (from several days ago). It's basically a very long (but interesting) interview with them about LOST, the screen-writing process and answering (or rather, avoiding) questions submitted by fans. The interview is intelligent and funny and just over 100mins in length.
Just be warned. The last 5mins of video part 10 and all of part 11 could be considered spoilers by some fans (they show non-spoiler footage from the Finale).
Enjoy.

Tonight's the night It's all happening so fast. I just started on Lost three months ago and it's about to end. It's been fun and seriously the best show ever made without a doubt.
Is everyone excited?
I'm having a Lost Party with a few friends and family so it will be fun.
Long Live King Caspian & Queen Liliandil Forever!
Jill+Tirian! Let there be Jilrian!
so tonight's the night. I just can't believe I'm able to watch it. I hit 5 seasons hard! and then went straight into six. The first season still stands as my favorite of them all but it's all been great.
I just hope it's satisfying and well worth it after all this.
Belated thanks, 7chronicles, for the link to the Dharma labels. I have some plans in mind for them that involve the food for next weekend's camping trip.
Enjoy your party, DamselJillPole! I'll be getting together with those real-life friends who are responsible for getting me hooked on this thing to begin with.
This morning's local newspaper ran several Entertainment section articles, a sort of retrospective on the series. Some are linked here...No finale spoilers.
Loving Lost (6 reasons fans like the show, such as incredible detail and well-developed characters)
How a Minnesotan Got 'Lost' in Hollywood (highlights of an interview with series writer Eddy Kitsis, who hails from a nearby Minnesota town. Lots of Hurley and Sawyer stuff, he said, as well as getting the Three Dog Night song "Shambala" into season 3's "Tricia Tanaka is Dead.")
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
Ahhhh! It's here! It's happening! It's...the end of Lost!!
Also, Hurley shooting Charlie with the tranqulizer (spl?) was pretty much the most awesome thing ever! "What was that?" "That was Charlie"
Also, so far:
"Imperfection is beauty, madness is genius, and it's better to be absolutely ridiculous than absolutely boring." Marilyn Monroe
Spoiler"I'm going to kill you." "How?" "It's a surprise." = lamest, funniest, lines ever! Also, when Flocke mentioned that he was surprsied it was Jack because he seemed the obvious choice--maybe he ISN'T the "new jacob", maybe one of the others had the powers magically bestowed to them, and their choice had nothing to do with it? Just a thought
I'm inclined to believe this.
On another note:
AAAHH! I hoped for this, even though I thought it was far fetched:
Ooh,
The Lost-themed Target ads are fun. They've shown the

More nice juxtaposition:
