Wow, 11 NarniaWebbers! Hopefully I'll be able to add to my list after the Lima Ohio Lion Party!!!

I meet someone at a Lifeway store who worked there.My little sister was buying a Narnian braclet like one I have from there(she likes to copy me )and he said to her do you like Narnia and she said yeah, and he said do you know about the new movie, and my mom said yeah it was suppose to come out in May but know it will not come out till December (I tell my family everything about Narnia ),and the guy was like yeah, do you get on Narniaweb, and then my little sister said no but my sister does, then she yelled across the store(cause I was of course looking at a C.S.Lewis book)HEY ITS ANOTHER NARNIA FREAK LIKE YOU!!!! , so i walked up to the counter and said hey to him. It was really cool to get to meet someone who liked the same thing i do!! Well there is my story!!!! Hope you enjoyed!!!! Oh and I did not get his Nanriaweb name, so if you are him, please tell me who you are or i might just catch you at the store and get it. If any body would like to talk to me by phone just let me know i would love to get to hear some of you guys voices Hopefully i will meet some of you one day!!!

The NarniaWeb rules ask that you post with substance. Any posts that are essentially "Dittos" don't have substance, so, posts like "thanks" and "too bad" and ":(" or ":D" need to kinda disappear.

But how were you able to meet up with them? Just chance meetings? Some NarniaWeb events that I'm not aware of?

Since no one on here gives away any personal information, how were you guys able to get eachothers phone numbers in order to talk to eachother over the phone???

Eustace+Jill, it takes months and years to get to know other NarniaWebbers online well enough to meet with them in person. Don't despair! All in good time. You've been a member here just over a month, so remember, 'you've only just begun' (in a good way). ♪ ♫ With Lion Parties sprouting up in different locations less than four months away, keep your eye open for a spot relatively near to you. That's a great way to meet others for the first time. Btw, I didn't meet my first NarniaWebber friend until five months after I joined (and that's even earlier than most, methinks); then the next time wasn't until the following year. So, take time, and remember to be cautious: it is highly advisable to meet an online friend in a group setting, and in a public place. Depending on your age, it is also important to make sure your parents know, and obtain their permission.

In the meantime, relax and enjoy the camaraderie on the forum here.

It takes a long time, and it is very difficult, I'll just tell you that. It was 2 1/2 years after I joined that I actually was able to meet a NarniaWebber. And the only reason that happened was because I was lucky that her family was going on a vacation to a place near where I live.

Well, talking on the phone isn't the only way to do it. If you become good friends with some people here at NW, the best thing to do is just have lots of PM conversations. That's what I did with many of the first friends I met here. After you two know a lot about each other, you could maybe start to exchange e-mail addresses and communicate that way.

In my case, with the NW I met up with, it was a long, tedious process to leap over the hurdles of personal information. We sent each other so many photos and videos with our faces obscured, and had so many conversations that we had to avoid because we didn't want to reveal where we live, that we just got tired of it. Slowly, through our parent's permission, we learned each other's last names, towns, home addresses, phone numbers, and then finally what we looked like. (We weren't allowed to show our faces over the interwebs, so we had to wait until we met up for that. )

In short, it's a very long process. I came very close to meeting several NWers before I met the one that I did, so don't ever just give up. Right now, if you want to meet people, I'd recommend just getting to know a bunch of people on here really well, and just see how things go from there.

Well, i've been on this forum for officially two years now, and I still haven't met anyone yet! Maybe it's because I admit, i'm a little wierd sometimes. Ahh well, someday soon I hope.
