So is MH not working right now for anyone else besides me?

Thank heavens I'm not alone, Wolf! It won't let me sound my horn, and keeps showing me error messages. Something must have gone wrong with their servers. I wonder if the devs know. . .

That's.... odd. Not that you're having problems, but the fact that you were still able to see the game at all. They were applying an update but it should be back up and running now.

After carefully checking around to make sure that patch wasn't the new Baron area, I have relocated to Zugzwang's Tower and hope to get another successful run out of it. :) Along with another 1% or so towards Countess. ;))

Oh, and I noticed one of the new things that the patch added. I got a Facebook notification that I had a new gift of stale cheese from my sister-in-law. And I could collect it via that notification.

I know they were applying an update, but are they still? 'Cause earlier I couldn't see it and it said they were updating the game ,but now it keeps either not letting me sound my horn or half attempting to make me start over (but it keeps flickering)

EDIT!

Oh good Digs, I'm not alone #:-s :P

I wonder if it has to do with the update :-s

EDIT2!

Well I posted on the forum via my FB account (I would have just registered if I had known before hand that I couldn't change my username :| ) that it wasn't working, and then it worked three seconds later... I wish I would have known that 5 seconds ago...

Please keep working!!!

Edit 3!!!!

So much for it working :((

That's really weird wolf because it's working perfectly for me. May I ask what internet browser you're using?

The Pebble Mouse is the only mouse I haven't caught in the Mountain. I don't recall having even encountered him. Does anyone have any advice about what trap/cheese to use? I've been doing well enough with my Gingerbread base, Forcefield, and Brie. But no Pebble Mouse.

The game still isn't working for me either. Every time I try to sound my horn, I get the following message: "Unable to sound the Hunter's Horn. An error occurred, please try again. The horn will reappear in a few seconds." The horn does reappear, but no matter how many times you try to sound it. . . zilch.

I also have a notification from the game, but every time I click on it, the following message comes up in red letters: "Sorry, there was an issue fetching your notifications. Please try again!"

Is it working for you yet wolf?

@EtJ, the Pebble Mouse is only attracted to SuperBrie.

@Wolf and DiGs, I'm guessing the problem is either an Internet Explorer issue OR a cookies issue. Have you tried using a different browser and/or clearing your cache and cookies?

ETA: Well my husband conveniently had a notification pop up on his MH game just now, so I jumped onto IE with his account and sure enough, he's having some of the same issues you two are describing. So it's definitely an Internet Explorer problem.

Yeah, I figured as much. Internet Explorer is. . . well. . .not the best. I rebooted my computer, cleared my browsing history, cookies, cache, etc. . . and now the game works for me.

I also clicked on Aravanna's link (she had posted something about the recent update, and linked the comment to her profile via FB), and as soon as I did that, the game started working for me again.

I don't know. . . *shakes head*

Internet Explorer (I know most people don't like it, but it works well for me) and I've tried both sites, both have the same problem :((

EDIT! Digs how do you do that?
(and by that I mean clear the cookies off your computer)

Edit: It's been working on and off for me.... I just sounded my horn again, but I don't know how long it'll last this time.

Edit Again:

Digs you sure its totally working? Because my horn works now, but I still can't access the inventory page, mice pages, etc. Which is a problem because I am going to run out of bait eventually.... :-s

Edit again (sorry)

Well mousehuntgame.com seems to work now, and its not just us digs, people are comlaing on one of the forum threads...

To clear all of the stuff on your computer (cookies, cache, etc. . . ) via internet explorer, start by clicking on the "Tools" tab at the top of the page. Click on "Delete Browsing History," and a window should open up asking how "in depth" you want to go. It's pretty self explanatory from there on out. At least. . . that's how I did it; you might be using a different version than I am, in which case it might be different.

So far, I haven't been able to find anything that I was unable to access.

Thanks Digs but it didn't seem to help... well at least I can (hopefully) use the other link (Edit: which is loading really slowly right now).

And now it's acting up for me again, so I've switched over to the mousehuntgame.com version ;)). You've got to love modern technology *sigh*

Ahh, props for modern technology, and props for the secondary web site. Having said that, I'm doing great with my SB+. I just got two extra pieces dropped by the Black Widow, which apparently isn't a huge boost in gold, but I can now hunt for about another hour (minus trap checks) for that pesky Pebble Mouse.

Edit:

5:46 pm - Mountain
I sounded the Hunter's Horn and was successful in the hunt! I caught a 4 oz. Pebble Mouse worth 200 points and 600 gold.

Ok... I'm either having an absurd run of good luck, the spellbook base + power charm makes that big of a difference, or the glitches in the game are allowing me to have a high catch rate in the Jungle of Dread.

Chitinous Mouse 4/6
Stonework Warrior 1/6
Primal 8/18

I'm using the clockapault and previous runs have usually average about a 30% catch rate. 2 out of 6 pieces of cheese for every mouse here.

Congrats on the pebble mouse!
