No problem at all Chloë. I can still remember the days when I saw all of the nice shiny traps, and couldn't afford them. Part of the fun is earning the money for oneself in order to buy them, but when Ronza visits, you don't waste any time .
I don't know how advanced in the game you are (as we aren't FB friends), but if you don't have access to Furoma yet, then your best bets to earn money are to stay in the Festive Comet as long as you can. (At least that's my opinion). If you're getting a fairly decent catch rate, then you're probably getting a pretty decent profit.

I'm 1% away from Grandmaster and I have 60,000 in gold...I'd say my catch rate is pretty good.
I can't get to Furoma yet, so I'll stay in the Festive Comet while it's here.

Okay, all you people higher up the MH food chain...I have 2 of the new traps, and all the things I need to upgrade one of them (minus the platinum). I was thinking about going back to the Lab or to the Dojo to get some more expensive mices. What would you suggest?

The first floor of the dojo isn't too terrible for getting regular gold. Especially if you have the Ambush trap. There, you'll readily catch mice around 500-1000 gold each. I'd go to the Mouseleum rather than the laboratory (just because the laboratory has mostly steel and granite mice). In the Mouseleum (using the pumpkin pummeler from the halloween event), you should do somewhat decently.

I do have zungzawang (or whatever his name is)'s last move, so I'm pretty well set for furoma. Kat suggested I try out the Mousoleum, and I am using the pummeler, but with six trap checks/horns I've only caught 2. I've never had good luck over there....but that will change. Mouse-ward ho!
EDIT: ha, it changed. Guess I'll be hanging out here for a while

Well, I've caught all the mice that drop the loot that you need to buy the ETR Trap. I still need a few of the upgrade pieces, however.
I bought the ETR Trap and I have doubled my gold since yesterday, so, hopefully, I'll be able to afford something that is sold by Ronza!

I still haven't caught a second Slay Ride Mouse. . . that means no loot drop, and no ETR for me
EDIT: 8 Minutes after posting this, I caught one, and it dropped the sled!!!! I have since bought the ETR (quite an unattractive trap ). I am now hunting in the catacombs, farming as much gold as I possibly can before Ronza comes!

First off, I hope everyone had a merry Christmas!!!
Secondly, I caught Squeaker Claws on Christmas Eve! Yay!
I also finally caught another Snow Fort Mouse today, and unlike last time this one actually dropped Packed Snow, which was the last thing I needed to buy the ETR! Interestingly enough, after I bought and armed the ETR, I caught another Squeaker Claws mouse who dropped a blue, a green, and a red gift box, even though my rank is only Master so I normally only get a blue one. I thought that was pretty cool. Has that happened to anyone else?

It happened to me as well, Bother Eustace. I think that it is a very neat addition to the game as it gives people a desire/reason to catch more than one Squeaker Claws.
I caught a Keeper's Assistant Mouse today, while building up gold in the catacombs, and with it, I became a millionaire for the first time!!!
EDIT: Here is a rather interesting trap-check. . .
11:05 pm - Catacombs
I sounded the Hunter's Horn, but my efforts were fruitless. A Treasurer Mouse ate a piece of cheese without setting off my trap.
I didn't think that these guys were still hanging around? Perhaps the wee treasurer mouse is lost?

I also had a second set of supplies in my inventory so I bought another Explosive Toboggan Ride trap to smash too.
All I need now is the Ski Sign from the Gladiator Mouse for the upgrade.
However, none of my traps were powerful enough or the right type (Physical) to catch him so I bought the NVMRC Forcefield Trap as well. He moved from being "Impossible" to "Overpowering" so at least I've a small chance now of catching him... at least until I run out of Seasoned Gouda.
Digs, I caught one of them right before the Christmas Extravaganza. They're still about, but very rare. Incidentally, I discovered that catching one still resets your luck.
I'm loving the MH iPhone app. You can't do much beside blow the horn on it, but since I have over a hundred pieces of radioactive (I've been slowly building it up), I'm not in danger of running out of cheese. I've also noticed that almost every time I get on to my regular MH account on FB, I have a King's Reward, so I'm happy about the extra gold there. Anyone else use it?
EDIT: Is anyone else having trouble sending supplies (not gifts, supplies)? Whenever I go to do so, I basically get caught in a tight loop of entering their name, selecting send supplies, entering their name, selecting send supplies, etc.

I still have not caught the Gladiator Mouse...I need the Ski Sign!
I have my highest physical trap and luckiest base, but so far I haven't caught the mouse...I was considering buying a better physical trap, but I don't want to use up all my money before Ronza comes...
Should I buy the trap or save my money for Ronza?

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!! I now have the heat bath blueprints! I do have a lot of traps to craft now! lol. I'm going to head over to the seasonal garden after I run out of Inferno I think to start going after the parts for the spellbook base now. I still need to farm gold since I have 3 rather expensive traps to craft.
Lady A, I've had that problem too. I found that if I leave it for awhile and come back to the page, the rest of that page loads. It takes awhile to load.
Chloe, I would wait for Ronza. You should still have a couple of days to go after the gladiator right? Ronza's visits usually offer up some traps that are better than what you can buy/craft in the game normally.
I can ditto Kat's sentiments, Chloe. These mice are tough, but trust me, it's worth sacrificing the upgrade for some of Ronza's things. Her traps are usually insanely lucky, and she usually has the best bases in the game. The gladiator mouse is really tough. I hadn't even caught him before the event began, and had trouble getting the one that I did get. Just keep at it, and hope for the best
I'm still busy farming gold in the catacombs. I've got so many radioactive blue cheese potions from my green gift boxes, that I shouldn't be hurting for money any time soon .
What is everybody hoping that Ronza brings with her? Personally, I'm hoping for a really lucky/powerful shadow trap, and some high powered bases. Otherwise, after Ronza leaves, I'm going to be buying the Tribal Base and The Gorgon Trap.

A slay ride mouse finally dropped a sled, so I have all the parts needed for a trap upgrade. How do I go about it?
