I've caught two Scrooge Mice with Gingerbread Cheese...So, I don't know if they changed it or something...

A couple things of note to share with everybody. My husband caught the Missile Toe Mouse with Seasonal Gouda, so SB is definitely NOT required for that mouse.

I did catch it with SB even though I was going for the Scrooge Mouse (more specifically the Heart of Ice drop), so that's also good to know that you can catch mice out of order.

Oh, and I watched most of Feedback Friday this morning and they said the Winter Event will end on either Jan 4 or 6th. I think the 6th (I'll go look it up to confirm later). So we still have plenty of time to catch everything.

In other very random news, Dave and Franco (the two head developers) will be hosting FeedBAKE Friday next weekend in which they will be cooking Christmas goodies at Dave's house if anyone wants to watch. A good portion of the reason I love this game is because the devs are so creative and random and hilarious.

Hmm...I've been trying to catch the Missile Toe Mouse, but I haven't even gotten a nibble yet. He seems to be a sneaky one. I've caught all the other ones pretty quickly after they were released, except for the Christmas Tree Mouse. It took me forever to catch one of those little creeps...

I just hope I get another bottle of Seasoned Gouda Potion before I run out of Seasoned Gouda Cheese.

That sounds awesome, FK. I'm also glad to have a few more weeks to catch a few more mice. Although I was glad for a few pieces of SB this afternoon for catching the Missile Toe Mouse. Thanks to my benefactor!! I'm gonna see what else I can catch with my seasonal gouda.

I wanted to wander in here briefly to say that my husband caught a Scrooge Mouse this morning with Seasonal Gouda. So if you are out of SB or want to save it, that's another option.

I still haven't caught the missile toe mouse. Hopefully I'll do that soon. Any suggestions on trap setup? A good physical + good base should be all I need right?

Yeah I've caught 6 of them now with either SB (trying to get the Heart of Ice) or SG (trying to get the Ski Sign). I'm sure Gingerbread would work too.
Traps are either CCT or Chillbot.

Thanks fantasia. I picked up a second scrouge yesterday with the Heart of Ice, so hopefully it's just a matter of time. I switched over to SB for the day. Hopefully I'll pick up another couple of SG potions and I'll switch to that tomorrow.

I finally caught a Missile Toe Mouse yesterday!

I haven't had much success with the Seasoned Gouda...They just steal my cheese. I suppose my trap isn't good enough, but it's the best that I have right now...

Gingerbread Cheese, however, works wonderfully. I'm afraid to use my Super Brie+, since I only have about 20 pieces...So I've just been using GB Cheese and Seasoned Gouda (when I get the potions, which isn't often. ).

I wonder what mouse they will release tomorrow.

I think there's a bit of confusion on which mice to catch what they do, who drops what, what the drop is for, and so on and so forth. I know I was confused for a while, so here's a list of the mice carrying trap components.

The Gingerbread Mice (and the ones that light up lightbulbs) that drop components to buy the Explosive Toboggan Ride Trap (see trapsmith)....
Stocking Mouse - drops the Festive Fuse
Scrooge Mouse - drops the Heart of Ice
Missile Toe Mouse - drops the Holiday Explosives

The important Seasoned Gouda Mice that drop components for the upgraded Toboggan Trap, the Double Diamond Adventure Trap....
Gladiator Mouse - drops the Ski Sign
Stealth Mouse - drops the Climbing Pitons
Mouse of Winter Past - drops the Lava Bucket

Wreath Thief (dropping the Icicles?)
Mouse of Winter Present (who knows what it'll drop?)

FINALLY! I nabbed the Scrooge Mouse and he dropped a Heart of Ice! I think I actually squealed out loud when the notice popped up.

I've actually had pretty decent luck recently. I caught my Scrooge mouse with Gingerbread cheese (using Christmas Cracker Trap and Candy Cane base), and caught 4 Missile Toe mice using the same setup (I actually thought that the Missile Toe mice were quite easy).

I'm currently using Seasoned Gouda, and trying to get the parts needed for the hydro upgrade. Fingers crossed!!!

I am still waiting on the Missile Toe mouse. I'm going to keep with the CCT/Magma/gingerbread for the time being. I'm still missing some of the upgrade parts, but I'm hoping I'll be able to switch to seasoned Gouda tomorrow sometime. At least I'm picking up SG potions!

I've caught the Wreath Thief! Currently only have caught the Scrooge Mouse once. No heart of ice. Maybe I should make some more Seasoned Gouda!

EtJ, what bait were you using when you caught the Wreath Thief? And congrats on the Mouse of Winter Past. I still haven't nabbed him or his more modern caounterpart
