I just finished my first day! It's only 2:00, but I suppose that's because first days are generally much easier than the successive ones.

I'm going into senior year now, and I've been homeschooled all my life. I have to say it worked pretty well for me. Though I think I'm the type who would perform well either in public or at home (visual learner) I learned some life lessons by being homeschooled that I might not have gotten otherwise. I'm an independent person who has a good relationship with her family and friends.

I'm looking forward to college! I've taken several college classes before, but I don't think I'll be prepared for the lifestyle change it will be. Does anyone have any advice?

I basically just start when the public schools here start. So today was the first day of school for me
It doesn't really feel like it, though, since my online classes haven't started yet, and those are the ones that suck up all my time.

I am starting school on the second week of September, as always!

It seems to me that about 75% of homeschoolers have the same school schedules as the public schools...

I usually start school on the second of September. On the first we go to the school we are registered in and then after that we usually go to shop for school supplies and etc. We shop in this childrens shoping center, so the best part is looking at all the toys and other fun stuff. Then in the evening my mom will usually make a special dinner or snack and we have a little party. I guess that's why I always look forward to the beginning of school

Back before I graduated, I was homeschooled, and we usually started school on September 10th as well.

I had to do school all thru summer!

I had to do school in summer too. I didn't finish 9th grade before the school year ended, so I had to do it in summer
