Happy Mod Appreciation Day to our fantastic mods!!! You all are truly the most friendly, capable, fair, clever, hilarious team of moderators I've ever encountered online. Narniaweb wouldn't be the safe, intelligent, tightly-knit community that it is without all of you! Ever since my first day on the forum and the welcome PM I received from johobbit, it has been an absolute privilege to interact with such lovely people, both as mods and as friends. Here's to many more years and lots more memories!

To all Mods:

I can't tell you how much I appreciate you guys. You make NarniaWeb (what I consider to be a sort of home) safe from all the chaos and creepers and fights one normally comes across on other sites. If it weren't for you, NarniaWeb wouldn't be the loving place it is today.

And what's more, you accomplish this while always remaining loving, friendly, non-condescending, gentle, but firm. I respect you. But I can also talk to you like a friend and equal. And that's one of the things that has always amazed me about this site.

On most other sites, the mods are either meek or inactive, and their boards are overtaken by rulebreakers and trolls. And in contrast, I once belonged to a site where the mods were so fierce about the rules, I was constantly afraid whenever I made a post, because the slightest thing would set them off and they could kick me off the site. And even when they weren't getting after you about a rule, no one was allowed to talk to them. Because they were the mods. And I was just a little, unimportant regular member.

But it's not so on this site, and that's one of the main things that drew me to this place. Many of the mods here are some of my best friends. And when I break a rule by accident, they are always quick to send me a loving PM as a reminder, politely asking me to fix my mistake.

Great job! You make this place the only site I've seen that is the way a site should be! I love you guys!

This was a very nice surprise. I had a pretty bad start to my day so it was really nice to discover that it was mod day. I absolutely love the graphics Dot. You all are so sweet and sneaky. The videos and graphics in this thread and the comments ... everything is so wonderful.

You guys (and girls) are some of the best moderators on the web. From the small amount of other web forums I've visited, this is by far the best. And even though that is partly the result of having great members, it's even more thanks to the amazing set of Mod's that keep NW safe, fun and overall just a fantastic site.

Y'all help to make NW "click" and keep it running smoothly. To slightly re-word a famous line: "A great forum is only as good as the Mod's behind it."

So, here's to you, the amazing set of Mods that not only are the best regulators of any forum but also the best people of any forum. *raises his glass of rootbeer in a toast*
