It was a fun birthday spent with friends.
There wasn't a starry evening, since it was snowing. However, in the wee hours yesterday I crawled out of bed to see Mars near Saturn.
Nice cupcakes, Jo.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.

It was a very relaxing and enjoyable day spent with family, thanks. Plus special wishes from friends and other family via phone, cards, emails, texts, and visits. Really nice. More celebrations are upcoming over the next month. I do prefer when birthdays are spread out, rather than cramming the festivities all into a day or two.
