Thank you, Snow Angel, Jasmine, stargazer. 
Although we are not able to have a campfire tonight, we did have a long, backyard fire last Saturday (first of the season!) with family, accompanied by clear skies, yes. 
So as the fire blazed (as S'mores were enjoyed), and the temperature dropped (light frost that night), we watched the stars glimmer on. 
Lovely, really lovely.

Thank for the well wishes - and for the lovely mallorn cake!
It's been a lovely day - very quiet, but with some friendly phone calls.
And now I'm an Old Age Pensioneer - or at least by the end of the month I will be. The standard retirement age in Norway is 67 - so on June 1st I'll retire. It's a rather strange feeling ahead of me ...
