I was never a member on the old forum however I went on-line and read posts a few times on it. I think this one is just as good. I don't see any differences at all from the old forum.
Well, Julie, I'm pretty sure that's because the forum changed, not the people. So of course the posts themselves wouldn't look any different. Except maybe some people writing with better grammar.
P.S."Brooklyn!"
I'm a bit puzzled. I haven't received any new topic subscription emails since Saturday, and when I visited today I wasn't automatically logged in despite it being checked in my preferences. Any ideas?

I have a question about the PM box's:
What does it mean when it says there is a message in the "out box"? Does this just mean that the message has been sent or what?
Sorry if this has already been asked and answered....

The outbox appears to be a temporary folder for what you just sent. I think it moves to your sent box when the recipiant opens it (someone correct me if I'm wrong).
I am now on a school computer (as oppossed to my own) using MS Explorer and I was able to delete my messages from my inbox. I don't know why my home Firefox wasn't doing it. This could get annoying for when I am away from school though, because I prefer to do everything at home. So hopefully things will get better on this end.
Be watching for the release of my spiritual warfare novel under a new title: "Call to Arms" by OakTara Publishing. A sequel (title TBD) will shortly follow.
Fencer is right, Cor. Your "Outbox" stores what you've just sent until the recipient has opened it. Then it moves to your "Sent Box."
P.S."Brooklyn!"
If you delete it from your outbox, the recipient will NOT be able to read your message. Once it is read, the message will vanish from your outbox. It is a good way to know if your pm has been read.
Thanks for the answers Fencer, Ryan and Kat. I had been wondering what that meant for a while now.
Now that I know what it is, I think that's a great feature.
Thanks again for answering my question!

Test.
The "save" option in the preview mode is confusing.

Hmm... it might just be my computer, but when I try to see someone's profile while looking at a topic, I end up with their username in the posting box looking like this - "Stylteralmaldo[/ b]," - without spaces, rather than someone's actual profile. *uses Stylteralmaldo as an example* Is it... supposed to do that?
My apologies if it's supposed to do this, and my question has already been asked.

Nioniel, click on the person's username over their post (NOT under their profile pic). That should take you to the person's profile.
The text that you are getting when you click on the username under the profile pic is a way of addressing someone in your post without having to type the name and BBCode to make it bold. Like this: Nioniel, I just used that nifty little feature. Cool huh?

Aha, I see. Thanks, wisewoman. That's pretty cool. (I see the mods are optionally blue, too. That's even cooler. ) Has it been that way since the forum was changed? Funny that I never noticed it before.

I think it's been that way, yes. I'm still finding cool new features as I get more accustomed to the new forum myself

Thanks. It's v. cool.
I've got a problem... When I click "Submit" to send a PM, I will occasionally be directed to a preview page instead of the finished-product-sent-message page. I'm positive my problem isn't that I'm accidentally pressing on "Preview" because I've experimented on this. It irks me greatly.
I think I have to go resend a few PMs now.
