I haven't read this whole thread, so possibly the answer has already been given. Please forgive if so...

How long is the time-out period? It seems that when I login, check a couple threads, then spend 20 or 30 minutes or so answering, by the time I hit the "preview" button, I've already been signed out!

There are other users in the house, so I can't just click the "automatically sign-in" button...

The new website is kind of difficult to load on my computer, and is confusing right now, but once I find where everything is, it will be fine. Really looks good. :D

That's weird, MM. I think it might take a little while for your cookies to acclimate to the new site. I hope you haven't lost any posts like that!

I love the new forum. The only thing I miss was that handy "Quick login" feture on the old NW.

NaiadWaker, there is still a Quick Login feature, of sorts. It's just at the bottom of the front page, instead of the top, and I think it's only on the front page. But it's not completely gone. :)

Is there a way to change the time on the front page? I am in my time zone in the posts on the forum, but the time zone on the news on the front page is still in Mountain Time. Is there a way to change that?

Ok, where do I start? My password didn't transfer correctly, so I had to click on the "I forgot my password" link. The site wouldn't accept my old avie, so I spent about a week trying to get it on here (much thanks to eves_daughter for her help and patience). And I can't figure out the chat. How does the chat work? (Sorry if that's been asked before, but I really don't want to wade through all those posts trying to find out.) But I do love the new design.
EDIT: I can edit my posts now. It didn't work for me on the old forum.

I have two things now. One is that even though I click the 'auto-login' option, I still get randomly logged off when I leave NWeb.

The other is that I can't delete PM's. I mark them, select the "Delete Marked" option, click go, then confirm the deletion, and nothing happens. My PM's are still there. Does anyone know what's going on?

I was having that kind of problem too, while I was using Internet Explorer as my default browser for Narniaweb Fencer. Some browsers just aren't as compatible with some sites. Since I switched to using Google Chrome as my forum browser, all those glitchy kinds of issues have resolved. Others posting on this thread have mentioned that Firefox is very compatible with the new Narniaweb too. If you have any other web browsers on your computer, try them until you find one that works better.

That's the thing. I'm using Firefox. I don't know what it is.

How can we see who's having a birthday on any given day? It used to be you could scroll down and find out.

Peepiceeka, birthdays are still at the bottom of the front page, just like on the old forum, unless there are no birthdays on the day. :) Hope that helps.
