Hold it, another Bourne movie?! Wow! That made my day. The 3rd one had a good ending, but I seriously wished it continued.
I agree. I'm glad they're continuing. I really wanted to find out what Nicky meant when she said

Buds: 5, Twin Blank! <--- also don't remember who Twin Blank was. Find me if you're out there, lost one.
The next Studio Ghibli film will be an adaptation of Mary Norton's The Borrowers.
This could definitely be an interesting one. Some notes from the article:
1. It takes place in Tokyo, not England.
2. Miyazaki is not directing this movie. This will be the debut work of Studio Ghibli animator Hiromasa Yonebayashi, who was a key animator for Ponyo, Spirited Away, and Ghibli's other adaptation of a Western novel, Howl's Moving Castle. What this will mean for the movie itself, I don't really know.

Sadly, the director Greengrass has dropped out of the project. Since he and Matt Damon work so closely together the movie might not happen after all.
However, The Green Zone, which is coming out this May, is practically another Bourne movie (another Damon/Greengrass collaboration) so you may enjoy that.
Quod Erat Demonstrandum
Ooooooooooooooh, stardf!! Thanks so much for the news about the new Studio Ghibli film! I've never got into The Borrowers, but several of my sisters have. Just wait till I tell them! I know it won't be a very 'strict' adaptation, but if it's like HMC was, it won't matter---and it may be all the better for me. Do you know if Miyazaki will have any sort of oversight/direction on it at all? And do you have any idea how long it will take to get over to the States?
Some days you battle yourself and other monsters. Some days you just make soup.
Not sure if anyone else caught the new Clash of the Titans trailer on Comingsoon.net, but it looks great! It showed, the Kraken, Medusa, and Pegasus! Really can't wait to see it when it hits theaters in March!
And also on Comingsoon.net they just posted the new Iron Man 2 trailer, that also looks really good!

The Borrowers? Hmm... I can think of more exciting and interesting books to adapt. I'd love to see Studio Ghibli's take on the Narnia books for example.
Narnialover, I know. Doesn't it look awesome? It's pretty much the movie Tim Burton was made to direct.

Doctor Who - Season 11
The Alice trailer is absolutely amazing. That movie is definitely at the top of my must-see list.
Clash of the Titans is starting to catch my interest. Both trailers have been pretty cool and I liked Sam Worthington in T4. Was it my imagination or did Liam Neeson quote Davy Jones towards the end there?
Iron-Man 2 is going to be awesome! Whiplash and War Machine and Black Widow and more Nick Fury all in one movie. 2010 is going to be a great movie year.
I was just thinking about how Walden Media is going to be part of the making of the Bearnstein Bears movie! that I have to see, because it will be a very hard movie to put on screen, I am sure! how will they do it? I heard that they were going to make it part CGI and part real life. that should be interesting to see! I hope they stay true to the books! I read those when I was little!

Bearnstein Bears? They were okay but there's no way they need to make them into movies. I don't see much of a market for them either. Oh dear. Walden Media have their work cut out for them!

Warrior 4 Jesus: yeah, I agree! I have a strong feeling that that movie will bomb.....
I mentioned before that I heard about someone making a movie of Leven Thumps! I think they should pick Josh Hutcherson to play Leven!

Whilst at the cinema this weekend I saw back-to-back trailers for upcoming mythology-related movies.
The first is the remake of Clash of the Titans, with Aslan - er, Liam Neeson as Zeus and Sam Worthington (Jake in the current Avatar) as Perseus. The 1981 original is admittedly a bit cheesy but as a mythology buff I enjoyed it nevertheless. This one appears to be bigger-budget in terms of CGI monsters like Medusa and the Kraken; I admit to some interest in seeing it.
This trailer was immediately followed by one for Percy Jackson & the Olympians: The Lightning Thief, the first book in Rick Riordan's series. I'm not familiar with this series so I'll wait and see what happens with this one.
But all night, Aslan and the Moon gazed upon each other with joyful and unblinking eyes.
I have several movies I want to see this year, made a list a few pages ago some time ago. There have been additions to it for me though.
The first 2010 movie, that's a must see for me, is the adaptation of Nicholas Sparks' Dear John. I've seen his other 4 movies, and loved 3 of them. (Nights in Rodanthe wasn't bad, but not on the same level).
The original Clash of the Titans was definitely cheesy, but I love that movie. I grew up watching Clash of the Titan's, Jason and the Argonauts (I would love a remake of that) and Sinbad. I loved the Ray Harryhausen creatures and all his special effects, that's what makes those movies for me. Which is why I’m so exited to see Clash of the Titans in march!
I hope that the Medusa in the new one will be as memorable as Harryhausen's was, from what I've seen in Trailer 2 It looks like they drew a lot of inspiration from Harryhausen's design

The Lightening Thief
Prince of Persia
Toy Story 3
Robin Hood
Voyage of the Dawn Treader
2011-
The Hobbit Pt. 1
Pirates of the Carribean 4
2012-
The Hobbit Pt. 2
Aida
Has anyone heard of a movie called The Perfect Game(hitting theaters April 2, 2010)? It is based on the true story of the Monterrey Industrials, who, against all odds, won the 1957 little-leagues world series. Apparently the trailer is playing in front of AVATAR. Starring Jake t. Austin as Angel Macias, Clifton Collins jr. as Casear Faz, Cheech Marin as Padre Esteban, Jansen Panettiere as Enrique Suarez, Moises Arias as Mario Ontiveros, Ryan Ochoa as Norberto, and Emilie de Ravin as Frankie.
I have had the incredible privelege of seeing this film twice already, and meeting Ryan Ochoa. Let me tell you, this one's gonna hit a home run!(pun intended) It is inspiring, sweet, funny, and Christian. Sort of Blind Side-esque.
