Cough, no I haven't. I've just reserved it from my local library.
Then I can make a more informed decision and opinion.
I'll try to go in with no expectations (ha, ha - like that's going to happen).

That's cool Sherwood is making another movie!
There's another Percy Jackson trailer out! http://www.percyjacksonthemovie.com/ I'm really liking some things, and really not liking others but all and all it looks pretty good.
I really hope Fox does a good job with this one, if they do I'll be a lot more optimistic about VoDT.

Today, Sherwood Pictures announced their next film... *drum roll* Courageous.
SnowAngel
excellent! I liked Flywheel, for the message, as a movie it wasn't the best.
I loved Facing the Giants, both as a movie (even though it wasn't professionally done) and for the message.
Fireproof I thought was great, but I admit I miss the full impact as I've am not married nor have I ever been.
I own all three. I'm sorta surprised this one doesn't begin with "F"

Eh, watching that trailer makes it look like it's really, really, really not like the book. But if this is going to be the sole movie, with none made from the other books, I think I'll be able to separate the books from the movie in my mind and enjoy each as different things.
If I can do that, it looks like it'll be an awesome movie.
P.S."Brooklyn!"

I hope you enjoy it. See you in the past movie thread!

SEPTEMBER 2010 IN SELECT THEATERS NATIONWIDE. We will be announcing a way for you to bring Karen Kingsbury's LIKE DANDELION DUST to a theater near you.
It should have been in theaters by now. I am glad LDD has a tentative release, but still...that makes the movie itself OLD by the time it's released!

Yeah, but I, um... kinda don't mind for some reason I guess it's because I'm not really worried about anything on this one (except the characters, that was one thing I loved in all the books and I really want them to be right). It's a great book series and really fun, but it's not one I really fell in love with until the end of the series. I do think it would've been better for them to stick to the books and do all the movies, one thing I did love about the books was the character development and all the cool Greek Mythology stuff that connected in the different books. But now, because of the age and everything, I don't think they really have the choice to do another movie now
As long as they follow the basic plot and do the characters well, I'll be happy. (Although I do really want the capture the flag game in there, I always thought that would be so much fun )

"Courageous" is going to be awesome, I know it!
Did anyone know that there is going to be a sequal to the movie "Journey To The Center Of The earth (Brendan Fraser, Josh Hutcherson)?
I believe it is going to be called "Atlantis". sorry, but I don't know anything else! But having seen the first one, this one will probably be awesome!!!!!! I can't wait!

Wait a second checkers, a cookbook? What are the recipes?
Blood Soup: (Note: It is suggested that only sparkly vampires should make this recipe)Step 1: Go into the woods and wait for the animal of your choice to come into smelling/hearing range. Step 2: Chase this animal. Since you are a sparkly vampire, don't worry about not catching your prey. Step 3: Don't bother with a bowl. Just suck out all that delicious blood, and enjoy!
Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiight. I can't wait to get my hands on that cookbook. Yum!
That's just sad.
I love your recipes, those sound so appetizing. Actually, the food looked pretty normalish. I didn't get to look at it much because we were leaving. What I remember mostly is some tequila recipe.
My Twilight-fan-friend keeps rubbing it in my face though that the Twilight movies are coming along faster than the Narnia movies.
That just means the Twilight movies won't be as good.
EDIT:
I just found the cookbook here on Amazon. If you click on the button "search inside this book" and go a few pages, you can see the all the recipes Here's the product description:

There are a few movies that are up in the air for me in 2010. Ones that I could see, but not sure if I will.
Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lighting Thief looks interesting, I've never read the books but I love mythology especially the creatures, so I may see that one.
How to train your dragon is another one. If the 3-D is any good I may see that one with my younger cousins.
Shrek 4, The Last Airbender, and Rapunzel are also ones I may or may not see.

Oh, I so want to see The Last Airbender. I watched the TV show back when we had satellite TV - how I miss those good ol' days - and I'm really looking forward to this new one. I just don't like that the fire nation is all Indian. They should be Asian or something. Dev Patel was good in Slumdog Millionaire, but I'm just not sure how good he'll work as a bad guy in this.

Hold it, another Bourne movie?! Wow! That made my day. The 3rd one had a good ending, but I seriously wished it continued.
OH! I just heard that there is going to be a movie made of the book, "Leven Thumps And The Gateway To Foo" by Obert Skye!
I am SO happy!
