I'm very basic with my toppings. Sausage is ok, depends which place I get the pizza from. I LOVE pepperoni!! Haven't tried anything else, too scared to try anything new.
I enjoy mayo but I've never heard of it being used as a pizza topping. Is that even possible?
I enjoy raw cauliflower but not broccoli stems. It's good to know there are calcium alternatives for lactose intolerant people. I think I'd really struggle to leave behind meat and wheat and all those foods.

Mayo is the last thing that should go on pizza. Even white chocolate would be better than that.
By the way, W4J, I must say that that topping-filled pizza you showed on the last page is exactly the kind of pizza I like. When the topping density is that high, I don't have to worry about the cheese since the toppings will mask the cheese taste; hence, no having to pull off cheese.
I'd rather the crust be frozen before then not FencerforJesus. Imagine the mold that would be on it if it wasn't
Huh? Any pizza truly worth its salt would be made fresh from scratch at the time it is ordered, which would make the issue moot.
Additional fun fact: pretty much any dark leafy green has calcium; for example, spinach is another good source for the lactose-intolerant.

My favorite toppings ultimately depend on what the pizza "brand" is. Some restauraunts/companies make more enjoyable tasting toppings over others. I really don't do the deep-dish, thin crust, or stuffed crust. I much prefer a pan pizza. My favorite toppings are: cheese, pepperoni, and the works.
Least Favorite toppings: ham and pineapple (don't like either one, on a pizza or off) and any kind of chicken topping (that's just not right on a pizza).
A lot of people don't like anchovies on a pizza (and if even the ninja turtles
run away from this topping, that's a problem ). I'm curious to try anchovies though, so I can make the verdict for myself. It may just be one of those really odd things that I like or something I wish I had never tasted.

I neglected to mention in my post back on page 1 that the crust I love best is a crispy-thin crust. Mmmm. Also, if I had to choose a number 1 pizza place around here, it would be Domino's Pizza. Our son worked at Little Caesars Pizza for a couple of years during high school, so we became rather overloaded on their stuff. However, I do really enjoy the corn meal they put on their crusts.

That's how my mom does her pizza, with corn meal. Good stuff.
One of my first experiences at CiCi's was 11 years and back then it was just $2.49 for the buffet. It was a popular after-church hang-out and even now, it is still one of the only places my family can go out that we can afford where we can get our fill. But until this past year, when I was hungry, I could eat. One of the first times I went there, I downed 15 slices, which is just a hair short of two pizzas (I'd equate them to medium pizzas). My youth pastor at the time kept telling me to stop eating, but I was still hungry. I could have gone for 16, but chose not to. My all-time record is 17 slices including a salad.
Now I have heard of other people make thier claims of 40 slices and something like that, but I always have to put an * on that number. My record includes eating the crusts. The 40-some records I have heard do not. Since I turned 26, however, my metabolism has slowed down, so what used to be 12-15 slices as a standard fare, I am now averaging 10 slices a sitting.
I will say pizza is one of my favorite dishes and I am going to enjoy being home this summer because I know at least once, I will be getting my mom's speciatly, home-made pizza that not a single pizza store/restaurant has been able to come close to topping. Don't get me wrong in that I don't like the others. They are good, but they just don't compare.

That's a lot of pizza you've chowed down, Fencer! We used to have a game when a group of us would go to Pizza Hut for their yummy lunch buffet: we'd assign points to the various items and we all tried to top the next person. Needless to say, the teenage boys in the group always won. I'll admit, though, I was a very solid contender. But *gasp* 40 slices for some, Fencer?
We have home-made pizza about once a month. I purchase whole-wheat crusts, dab some tomato sauce on them, then everyone lays their preferred toppings on, after which we slather 'em with mozzarella cheese. 'Tis delicious, and not so greasy as from a pizza parlour.

Dont know if this was said already..but anchovies are the worse on a pizza!! My father used to love this...gross ! I personally love pizza with just some good ole fashioned cheese and some extra cheese on occassion!
I live in NY so they have good pizza here!

I will give it a try one of these days, not too far off. I have begun to get curious about the ham and pineapple one, at least I think it's those two toppings they put together.
Fk, I suppose you're one of those people that picks the peppers off their pizza and leaves them for the trash. Sacrilege!
I'm thinking my two least favorite pizza toppings are anchovies and pineapple and my most favorite toppings are mushrooms and olives. Hence I just had a mean stuffed crust garbage pizza and ate it with the whole family. Om nom nom.
Yeah, someone I met at a youth camp, during an event for the counselors/youth leaders claimed he could do 40 slices. He did say it was without crusts, so I wonder how much crust he actually left. I've seen some people take two bites and that's it. When you eat the crust, there is no debate about how much up to the crust you go or whatnot. I do admit I don't have the biggest appetite (definately now that I've slowed a bit), but even then there were always some that could out eat me. And to many's suprise, it was often the skinny girls that could pile it on. You get a skinny girl who is also an athlete, that mean active + high metabolism = MASSIVE appetite. Those are the cases where eating huge amounts does not mean gluttony. I like to eat, but I do know when to stop. But I will say, I've yet to find someone to beat 17 slices including crusts.

Mmmmmm! Pizza!
My favorite toppings are all of the meats:
Ham,
Pepperoni,
Sausage,
Chicken,
etc.
I love a very good tomato sauce and some gooey cheese (not greasy ) as well.
I've never liked cooked vegetables on pizza. Call me weird, but I just don't like them! Fruit also strikes me as a strange topping.
Absolute worst is anchovies! Yucky, salty things!

One of the best toppings (or I should say, pizzas) is Ranch Style Pizza. So good! There's no tomato sauce, instead they have bacon, chicken, ham, fresh lettuce, tomatoes, green peppers, and all that good stuff on some warm, fresh-out-of-the-oven Ranch style sauce.
But the best toppings (for me) over regular cheese pizza would be:
Pepperoni, jalapenos, mushrooms, olives, bacon, goat cheese, and sun dried tomatoes.
With lots of hunger,

Every time I think of a quote or witty comment to put here, the quote is not so spectacular and the comment is not so witty.

You haven't meet my brother he has at least 1 and a half pizzas at a time. I am sure he could do it because he still fits in desert afterwoods. I only have 2-4.
Um... one and a half pizzas is less than 40 slices. I can manage only about 1 and a quarter large pizzas, with room for dessert.
