Thought I might post a few quotes/Facebook statuses in here. They're all from converstations between me and my various family members...although the majority of them feature my sister, Mim or The Jedi Clone.

*watching the Pride and Prejudice with Keira Knightly*
Mr. Darcy, at the end: "I am incandescently happy." *kisses Lizzie's nose*
Mim: "Did he just kiss her nose?!"
Mom: "Well, he's incandescently happy. Like a lightbulb. Maybe he thought she was Rudolph."

My 6yo sister, talking with my dad about why she wants glasses so badly: "I can't *read*, daddy. I want glasses so I can read!"
None of us told her the real reason she couldn't read is because she doesn't know how.

Mim has been trying to convince me that the second and third Hunger Games movies are going to be musicals.
Me: *scoffs* "Where and when did you hear that?"
Mim: "Um, last Sunday. On the internet."
Me: "...that explains everything. Last Sunday was April Fool's day."
Mim: "...oh."

Mom: *comes into my room* "You are the only girl I know who would do their writing assignment on 'paintballing'."
*leaves*
Me: *yelling down the hall* "...does this mean I get an A?!"

Me: "Can I put the game on, dad? The Sharks are losing and I want to see if they can make a comeback."
Dad: "How do you know?"
Me: *holds up phone*
Dad: "Oh. Well. Any girl who has an NHL app on her phone can turn on the game at any time." *hands me the remote*

*after getting a haircut*
Me: *bounces around the room, showing off my short hair*
Mim: "Are you seriously bouncing around?"
Me: "I'm PRANCING!!! There's a difference, you know."

While watching the Order of the Phoenix with my brother and sister...
Brother: "I don't get this."
Mim: *launches into an in depth description of what is going on and why*
Brother: "Ya know what? Forget it. You obviously need a PHD in Wizardry to get this. I'm going to bed."

Me: *whining about something*
Mim: "What's up with you?"
Me: "I am a horrible horrible human being."
Mim: "Oh. That's nice."
Me: "..."

The last one, featuring our very own Rosie Posie...

Me: "I AM SO HUNGRY." *noms on the llama plushie*
Rose: "CANNIBALISM. o.o"
Me: "Um, no. I'm not a llama, so no cannibalism."
Rose: "YOU ARE TOO A LLAMA. You're just in denial. You need to embrace your heritage. "
Me: "e.o"
Rose: "Lia the Llama has a very nice ring to it."

*Eric and Topanga have gone on a diet together, but are keeping it a secret; Cory thinks the reason Topanga is acting differently is that she's pregnant*
Eric: *to Topanga* "Look, in a few months, everything's gonna be back to normal, okay?"
Cory: "All right, Eric. What's going on?"
Eric: "Hey, Cor. You smell like chicken."
Cory: "Don't change the subject. I know Topanga confided in you. What did she tell you?"
Eric: "She told me that she's in trouble and it's all your fault. Your waffles and butter did this to her."
Cory: "Why would Topanga confide in you instead of her own husband?"
Eric: "Because she knew how you'd react."
Cory: "You mean like this? *screams* My life is over! *back to normal voice* Like that?"
Eric: "That's why she came to me, okay? People like us have similar appetites, that's how we get into situations like this."
Cory: "You've been in this situation before?"
Eric: "Yeah, on and off since high school."
Cory: "Do Mom and Dad know?"
Eric: "Yeah, Mom and Dad know. Dad actually thinks it's kinda funny
*laughs*
Cory: "Oh, no, Eric. There is nothing funny about this. Every day she gets bigger, my life gets a little more complicated."
Eric: "Your life? Is that all you can think about? What about Topanga, huh? What is she supposed to do? Her body's out of control and she has nowhere to turn! Look, if you can't be supportive then the best possible thing for you to do is just stay away from her. Just stay away from her!"
Cory: *hysterical* "I don't know what I should do!"
