You all have such wonderful, thought-provoking quotes.
My favorite: "Ya' think?"~~Jack O'Neill, Stargate SG-1
"It is better to be silent and let men think you a fool, than to open your mouth and remove all doubt." -I can't remember who said it, but it's great!
I don't know who said it either, but it is one of my favorites!
Love God, love people
Some of these are really great! Here are just a few of my favorites, hopefully I'll remember more later
"Better mistrust undeserved than rash words."- JRR Tolkien in LotR
"It took all my powers to calm him. And, and hers. But it was I who fetched her so you could say it was all my doing."- Much, Robin Hood (it's much funnier when you hear it than reading it)
"I will not tolerate this kind of idiocy on my base!"
"Is there another type of idiocy that you would be more comfortable with?"- Shawn Spencer, Psych (LOTS of funny quotes in Psych, it's a great show!)
"We do not, or need not, despair of drawing because all lines must be either curved or straight, or of painting because there are three "primary" colours. We may indeed be older now, in so far as we are heirs in enjoyment or in practice of many generations of ancestors in the arts. Inthis inheritance of wealth there may be a danger of boredom, or of anxiety to be original, an dthat may lead to a distaste for fine drawing, delicate pattern, and "pretty" colours, or else to mere manipulation and over-elaboration of old material, clever and heartless. But the true road of escape from such weariness is not to be found in the willfully awkward, clumsy, or misshapen, not in making all things dark or unremittingly violent; nor in the mixing of colours on through subtlety to drabness, and the fantastical complication of shapes to the point of silliness and on towards delirium. Before we reach such states we need recovery. We should look at green again, and be startled anew (but not blinded) by blue and yellow and red. We should meet the centaur and the dragon, and then perhaps suddenly behold, like the ancient shepherds, sheep, and dogs, and horses- and wolves. This recovery fairy-stories help us to make. In that sense only a taste for them may make us, or keep us, childish."- JRR Tolkien (sorry about the length, but it's such a good quote I couldn't just put part of it!)
"It's not fair. I love you, and no one gives me any food, yet people who do not love you are fed. The World is wrong. We're feeding people who do not love us, and saving a man who wants us dead. I've changed my mind, I no longer love you. Now can I eat?"- Much, Robin Hood (another one of my favorite Much-wanting-to-eat quotes is "The Sheriff will not buy you, you can go free, and we can go home and eat!" )
EDIT: Here's a few more I found
"How do I feel? Well, I don't know how to say it. I feel, I feel, I feel like spring after winter, and sun on the leaves; and like trumpets and harps and all the songs I have ever heard!"- Sam Gamgee, RotK
"All that is gold does not glitter, not all those who wander are lost."- JRR Tolkien, Fellowship of the Ring (I love all of the poem, but those are my favorite lines)

"Plan? We're Americans. We don't plan. We do." ~General Custer, Night at the Museum 2: Battle of the Smithsonian.
"After taking you thougts into consideration, I have come up with a new and improved battle plan. I will loudly announce that we will NOT attack and then...wait for it....wait for it....then we attack." ~same as above.
"So you're saying you'll put down your rock and I'll put down my sword and we'll try to kill each other like civilized people?" Westley, Princess Bride
I'll do more later. Just note that when I get going I can hold entire conversations using only movie quotes.

Here are a few of my favorites:
You don't have a soul, you are a soul. You have a body.
The dream is over; this is the morning
How do you pick up the threads of an old life? How do you go on, when in your heart you begin to understand... there is no going back. There are some things time cannot mend. Some hurts that go too deep that have taken hold.
All you have to decided is what to do with the time that is given to you.
I'm on Aslan's side, even if there isn't any Aslan and I'm going to live like a Narnian, even if there isn't any Narnia
There are, in this world, blessed souls whose sorrows all spring up into joys for others; whose earthly hopes, laid in the grave with many tears, are the seed from which spring healing flowers and balm for the desolate and the distressed.
Even though you can't hear or see them at all...a person's a person, no matter how small.
Those are just a few of my favorites. I probably post some more later.

I like searching random quotes about what I'm going through... Or what others are going through... I find them on random sites and most of the sites I visit don't list who says them. But here are some of them anyways.
"Sometimes you need to run away just to see who will follow you."
"I'm tired of trying, sick of crying, I know I've been smiling, but inside I'm dying."
"Just because I'm smiling doesn't mean I'm happy."
"I don't necessarily want to be happy; I just want to stop feeling miserable."
"Tired of living and scared of dying."
"Sometimes it hurts more to smile in front of everyone, then to cry all alone."
"Stop the world I wanna get off."
"There's a smile on my face but I don't know why it's there... I put it on to satisfy all the people that don't even care."
"Nothing can stop me now because I don't care anymore."
“To the world you may be just one person, but to one person you may be the world.”
I'll stop there before I fill up 10 pages worth of quotes.
This is a great one my math instructor gave us this week, and totally unintentionally.
"The purpose of this class is to give up."

"If you have nothing good to say then say nothing at all."
"Live each day as it is your last."
"We have nothing if not belief"
I like to quote John Muir a lot:
"The wrongs done to trees, wrongs of every sort, are done in the darkness of ignorance and unbelief, for when the light comes, the heart of the people is always right."
"God never made an ugly landscape. All that the sun shines on is beautiful, so long as it is wild."
- Atlantic Monthly, January 1869
"The clearest way into the Universe is through a forest wilderness."
- John of the Mountains (1938), page 313

I don't know if you guys noticed this yet or not, but in my sig I keep a list of some of my favorite quotes... there's only room to post two or three at a time though. I just switched one today infact.
"The mountains are calling and I must go, and I will work on while I can, studying incessantly." -John Muir
"Be cunning, and full of tricks, and your people will never be destroyed." -Richard Adams, Watership Down
This is from the movie Chicken Run:
"All my life flashed before my eyes!...and it was really boring."
I just think it's funny and if my life ever flashed before my eyes, it would probably be really boring too...

Oh my, I have so many! Here are just a few:
"What am I going to tell them? That they copied and pasted Arnold Schwarzenegger in the movie?" ~my sister (this was after we went and saw Terminator Salvation and we were debating on whether or not we should tell our parents about the movie)
"You gotta have a lame army to drown in six inches of water." ~My dad in one of his sermons (he was debunking some myths about how the egyptians died in the red sea when they went after the israelites. I don't remember the context here, only that I got a kick out of this quote )
"Look, I'm just trying to change the world - okay? I don't have time for a grudge match with every poser in a parka. Besides, there's kids in that park." ~Dr. Horrible
Newman: "Hello?"
Telemarketer: "Hi, would you be interested in switching over to TMI Long Distance Service?"
Newman: "Oh, gee, I can't talk right now. Why don't you give me your home number and I'll call you later?"
Telemarketer: "Uh, well, I'm sorry. We're not allowed to do that."
Newman: "Oh, I guess you don't want people calling you at home?"
Telemarketer: "No."
Newman: "Well, now you know how I feel."
