Wups, my mistake. I thought the season was mid-way currently. In any case, this will be an extended Feature, as this topic has been so popular. It will be staying open for awhile yet. :) Sorry for the confusion.

I wonder if they might have a stand in for John at first in the next series if they do begin filming in May. Martin Freeman will be doing The Hobbit part 1 and 2 this year so I wonder what they'll do or if they have to reschedule filming.

I'm glad Irene is finally going to be introduced even though I'm still waiting on audition info unless they already casted her without auditions :( oh well.

^yeah, they might have done that. Cause with casting Sherlock they didn't even put out any auditions, I don't think. they just knew that Ben was perfect for the part & called him up. But have hope, dear Damsel! I still hope you get the part! :) Excuse for me for asking if this is a dumb question (I don't know much about casting & TV ), but is there anyway your agent can contact them? Or does it just not work like that?

About the Hobbit, are they filming right now? You'd think they would work that out. But that info may be outdated, since that chat took place in November. They might have pushed it back.

Yeah it's a lot different. That's sometimes the bad case with a local agent is that they will find work for you locally where you live, but if you find the work outside they'll still help you with promoting you but they can't really look up that work for me outside of my state and the two-three states surrounding my state unless if I know about it myself.

Good luck to whoever has her or will play her. Yeah it's possible that they may have pushed it back because they probably didn't know about Martin's filming schedule with them yet.

Martin Freeman said that the schedule is all worked out so that The Hobbit doesn't interfere at all with Sherlock, and Sherlock won't interfere at all with The Hobbit. So it's all good.
Oh, and he starts filming The Hobbit on Valentine's Day. ;)

Damsel, are you going to try to audition for Irene?! Oh, why can't I be you?? :(

Hahaha no, I'm kidding. :p Good luck if they do auditions! I'm sure you'd be brilliant for the role! :D Who knows, maybe I could sneak in with you and be extra (like that's happening haha). ;)

As far as I know with John, I'm with Ithilwen. Martin is going to be heading back and forth to do the mini-series and The Hobbit. We have to give him so much credit for doing that!

By the way, does anyone else read the tie-in blogs? (I think I mentioned this before). On 'The Science of Deduction', it looks like Sherlock is going to put notes in for TGG and something called, 'The Major's Cat'. Plus, if anyone is curious about the text John got from Sherlock after they met ("If brother has green ladder, arrest brother"), you can read up on what that's about as well. Also, John has a blog, and so does Molly! If you want, I can provide links to these brilliant websites. :D

Thanks MrsHolmes! :)

I had no idea that Martin was going to go back and forth, that's awesome and very committed of him! It makes me like him even more! :D

Anytime, Damsel!

Totally! Who wouldn't like somebody who's that commited to doing their job like Martin? He's a good man. :)

Here you go, everybody! I'd love to hear your thoughts on the blogs. Oh, and be sure to read the comments in John's blog, especially--they're hilarious! ;))

Sherlock's: http://www.thescienceofdeduction.co.uk/
John's: http://www.johnwatsonblog.co.uk/ (In the archive for this blog, start from the bottom and work your way up.)
Molly's: http://www.mollyhooper.co.uk/ (Same as before with John's blog archives--work your way up from Jan. 27th. You'll need to go back and forth each time to read a new post.)

Enjoy. :D

Aww, those are great! :D I feel so bad for Molly though... :( I don't see anything weird about her nose, lol.

That was so funny when they're all writing about the things that annoy them, and Sherlock says it annoys him when people talk about the small things that annoy them. Haha! :D

Today, SHERLOCK CAME IN THE MAIL!!! :D *does the Happy Dance* I'm gonna finish the commentary now! I've been dying to watch it!

Mrs. Holmes, I have read a bit of each of those blogs. The comments are really funny! :p On Sherlock's blog, they have 3 codes that you can try to figure out. I got a little book with a bunch of codes in it that I got when I was younger, so my friend & I figured them out pretty quick. They would have been kinda hard without the book though. ;))

Did someone say something bad about her nose? *Looks through post comments* Hmm...Jim said it was cute, but maybe I missed something. :- Oh well haha.

One of her posts I really liked was the one where she was ranting about how terrible Sherlock was; then, realizing what she had done, she said in the comments: "Oh no, I meant to write you-know-who! How do I delete this post?? Don't read this! No one read this!"

Hahaha I know, that was really funny. And I loved the part in Blind Banker that went with it (John's row with the self check-out machine)! =))

Pendragon: That's awesome! Let us know how you like the commentary. :D
Hahaha as for the codes, I just cheated and read the comments. ;))

Haha! That's funny! :p Poor Molly. Sherlock does treat her pretty bad, but I guess no worse than he treats anyone else. That's kind of his character, though. He treats people rudely, but he feels that he can cause he's smarter. Silly guy...I hope that he starts to show a little progress as the series goes on. that would be cool. Kinda like how in the end of The Great Game, he was really sweet to John & all concerned about him.

Enough with the rant, I'm watching/ listening to the commentary right now! :D I'm more than half way through. It's really funny & enlightening. It's funny, cause it seems like in ALL the outdoor scenes, they're all like "This scene was SOOO COLD! I was freezing!!!" :p Ben actually said that it was so cold in one scene, a girl part of the crew started to turn blue & collapsed in his arms. :-s Woah... England must be seriously cold.

And the worst part is, Molly knows he's just flirting with her to get his work done! Sherlock may be very charming, but that's hardly fair.

I thought that bit in TGG was very sweet as well. It would be quite nice if he did warm up just a bit to the people in his life; but then again, he might only find that inconvienient, even if he did show care for John at that one moment. I guess we'll have to find out, huh? :)

Aww man, I want to listen to that commentary so bad! Seriously, she collapsed? That's terrible! :-o I hope she was alright after awhile.

I guess she does know. That's so terrible of him! Yet, it doesn't really seem that bad cause he's Sherlock Holmes! :p

I actually don't know much about Sherlock Holmes in the books, but I guess whatever happens to Sherlock's character will be based off of that. Maybe he will warm up to everyone eventually. ;))

That's too bad you haven't heard it. :( Is there any hope of ever getting for your birthday?
