Congrats to our summer Camp NaNo participants!

I'm puttering around a bit here and there with my writing (including last year's still-unfinished NaNo story), but think I'll wait until the November NaNo to work on my next story. I have a few plot ideas in mind but I know I'll need a lot more to get close to 50k with it.

Wow. I'm really late to jump on the bandwagon here, but I'm doing Camp Nano during the month of August. Is anyone joining me?

If so, I've got a new username on the Nano site. It's KatOllie; I'll probably be trying to buddy some of you, so don't be wierded out when I do.

I'm doing CampNaNo , though I'm having a bit of a rough start can't come up with a decent beginning

I'm not doing Camp NaNo, sadly. Too much is happening this summer and I just don't have the time or the energy. Plus, I've been struggling through writer burnout so it's not a good time for me to be attempting to write a novel anyway. However, I'm hoping to aim for November's NaNo once again, and so I'm looking forward to seeing many of you there as well.

Good luck to those who are doing Camp NaNo! You can do this!

I finally got my novel going, I just skipped the beginning and started writing somewhere closer to the middle. I write the beginning when I'm ready I'm almost at 7,000 words. I hope to make 10,000 today

I've done that, Wild rose (skipped to the middle). As a matter of fact, I'm tempted to skip to the most interesting bits right now...

Anyhoo, I'm at 11,000 words, and not really wanting to write. Things are going decently though, plot-wise.

Camp is over and I managed with 53k, at one point I got really bored with the story, but managed to sort of drag myself, though I suppose I cheated a little when I got sick of my novel and started a new one, then just combined the two of them together

I hope you were able to make good progress ChristProclamer, I'm already planning my NaNo novel, though I still can't quite believe that Camp is over
