Adding a few more to my list, making my total far more than five.
One is Dietrich Bonhoeffer. I'm about to read a new bio of his by Eric Metaxas, and the more I've heard and read about him in the past, the more I am inspired by what a man of God he was. And his bravery against the Nazi Regime, to the point of his execution (three weeks before the Allies liberated his camp) is so powerful.
The other is a modern-day Wilberforce, Chuck Colson, of Prison Fellowship, the Wilberforce forum, and Breakpoint, among other stimulating initiatives.
*would also like to meet Dr. James Dobson of Focus on the Family, and his wife, Shirley*

I'd also like to add some to my list of Agatha Christie, Anne Frank, Keira Knightly, and Jimmy Stewart...
2 actors-- Carey Grant and Katherine Hepburn. The more I see of them the more I like them. Katherine has a really strong presence and she seems like she was a really independant and unique woman. I've enjoyed all the films I've seen her in. The same with Cary Grant.
Also Marie Antoinette and Cleopatra, two women I've been reading a lot on lately. They seem like fascinating historical figures at some very prominent parts of the past. It'd be so interesting to sit down and have a chat with them!

In no particular order:
1. John Lasseter- to talk about our shared enjoyment of storytelling and animation.
2. Lucille Ball- to just sit and listen about life and laughs.
3. Kristin Chenoweth- to say thank you for never failing to put a smile on my face.
4. Margaret Hamilton- to talk about the "Golden Age" of Hollywood and to introduce her to 'Wicked'.
5. Phil Vischer- to talk about faith and vegetables.

Ivan the Terrible? Seriously? You want to meet a severely unbalanced dead Tsar? I suppose he'd be interesting, if one lived long enough.
Yes I would want to meet Ivan the Terrible. Before he got mad he did alot of good for Russia. It's only later he became a bit special .

De_De, you obviously have a better idea of your history, than I do. But either way, you guys have had a pretty rough past. Glad you've managed to prevail!
Sillygoose, I understand the sentiment but your comment was still hilarious. Thanks for the laugh.

I wouldn't actually mind meeting Hitler...he'd obviously be a very fascinating and intriging person to interview or something.

Oi. Five? *thinks* Here's what comes to mind:
In no particular order,
1. Anne Frank
2. Nadia Comaneci
3. Dietrich Bonhoeffer
4. Ted Dekker
5. Corrie Ten Boom (and Betsy)
Eek! That's so condensed. There are millions more I could list - Itzhak Perlman, Sarah Chang, Harriet Tubman, John Weidner, Fusia Podgorska, J.K. Rowling, Jane Austen, Eric Liddle, William Wilberforce, Louisa May Alcott, Harper Lee, Victor Hugo, Hilary Hahn, Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Helen Keller, Winston Churchill, Florence Nightingale, Abraham Lincoln, and.... oh. I'll quit now. The list is endless.

Here's my list. Of course, it's a lot longer than 5, but I managed to cut it down for this thread
1. Robin Hood (I know he's a legend, but if he really did exist, I do wish I could meet him)
2. Helen Keller
3. Olga the Wise (The only female Knyaz to have ruled Russia.)
4. Vladimir Krasnoe Solnishko (Olga's grandson. He led his whole country to Christianity)
5. Brian Head Welch

Methinks, Louise the First/Miss R, that we have quite similar tastes, overall, in who we would like to meet.
I forget if I mentioned earlier how I'd dearly love to have a long chat with Fanny Crosby. Blind from a young age, she became such a strong woman of God who has hugely influenced the world through her thousands of hymns and her beautiful life dedicated to her Saviour.
In a different kind of vein, I would like to go overseas and meet with the child/teen, Maramawit from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, who we sponsor under Compassion International. Having known her through letters over ten years now, she has become near and dear to us.

I would really love to meet the best people on Earth, whether celebrities or politicians! Of course I wouldn't put Lewis because every fan wants to meet him.
My Top 5 list (in any order)
William Moseley: He'll always be my idol in Narnia! (Well, I love Skan, Anna, Ben, and Georgie, but William's the one!)
Lee Kuan Yew (Singapore's first Prime Minister): One of my most favorite places in the world is Singapore! Perhaps the reason why this country prosper is because of Lee Kuan Yew. He's described as strict and sensitive with the press. Well, I consider him as a role model for all leaders in this world because of his hard work to make Singapore a first-world country. Way to go!
Zhang Ziyi: She's one of the world's best actresses and she's very beautiful! I haven't exactly watched her Chinese movies but I got to watch Horsemen in which she spoke English with a Chinese accent. Her beauty is so simple, and she's so modest.
Noynoy Aquino (President of the Philippines): I just want to tell him that he's doing a good job. Hopefully I would meet him one day.
Saoirse Ronan: She's one of the few teen stars who do exemplary work in acting. I would really love to meet her since she's so beautiful!
Zhang Ziyi:She's very beautiful and an amazing stunt-woman but it's quite a stretch to say she's one of the world's best actresses.

It's not really in order except for the first!
1.Jesus
You guys have made some great points about meeting Jesus and already have met Him. I can see where everyone is coming from for sure!
I decided to have Him as my first be cause meeting Him face to face would be so amazing! It is just not the same as knowing Him.
2.Skandar Keynes
He and Georgie are my favorites in the Narnia movies, though meeting any of the Pevensies would be great!
3. Georgie Henley
As I said above she and Skandar are my favorites in the Narnia films. And Georgie seems like she would be really fun!
4.David from the Bible
He would just be a great guy to meet!
5.Johobbit
I was not going to do any Narniawebbers because they have a topic for that, but I decided to at least put Jo on here
