In no particular order:
1. Burial (stage name): A dubstep musical genius in my opinion, I'd be interested to see his process for creating songs.
2. Emperor Akihito: The only monarch in the world whose title is emperor. From his photos, he seems like a nice person, and probably incredibly interesting to speak with.
3. Diana Wynn Jones: She's getting on in years, and I would very much like to see more books concerning Howl, and the the rest of the characters from the Moving Castle series. Perhaps if I met her, I could plead with her enough to convince her to write at least one more.
4. Panagiotis Verdes: He showed us that cubes of more than 5 layers were in fact possible, which helped to reignite my interest in sequential movement/twisty puzzles.
5. Sam Rockwell: He did such an amazing job in MOON, and I think it would be neat to hear him talk about the experience of getting into his character for the film.
I think I'm part of the forgetful club, but I forgot
-Shakespeare I don't know if we could communicate that well, but I would want to know what he thought of academia tearing his plays apart^^
Hmm for me it would be like that scene in Blackadder, I'd start hitting him and be like 'this is for every kid in school who had to read your plays!' lol.
He was a genius I think, but yeah his stuff is hard to read
Oh boy this is a hard one
I wouldn't put Jesus on the list because I have, like so many others have said here, already met him.
1. David Livingstone: my hero and roll model since I was four
2. Dwight L. Moody: another all time hero
3. Dmitri Donskoi: he was the first to win a significant victory over the tatars after their 300 year reign in Russia (twas called the Tatar Iga which translated means yolk or burden) I guess I'd like to ask him what he felt like going into battle with them
4. C. T. Studd: after reading his biography I've wanted to meet him and have a long talk, I think we'd find much in common
5. Leo Nikolaevich Tolstoy and Alexander Isaeavich Solzhenitsyn: I know this is cheating a little but they are both my favorite writers and I couldn't put one without the other

That's because he wrote centuries ago when the language was slightly different from what it is now. I bet if he came here and heard todays English he would die of a heart attack

memento mori
1 The apostle Peter. I just love how he shows that nothing is so bad it can't be forgiven. And I like how human and impulsive he was--always putting his foot in his mouth, kind of like me!
2 Deborah. I like her strength and varied talents.
3 William Wilberforce. I admire the way he never gave up. We'd probably talk about pets a lot.
4 Rich Mullins. I'd just love to say how much his music has impacted my life. His songs are among the first I remember hearing.
5 J.R.R. Tolkien. Of course. He's inspired my own work so much.

Ivan the Terrible? Seriously? You want to meet a severely unbalanced dead Tsar? I suppose he'd be interesting, if one lived long enough.
