There's been discussion about What do you think happened in Narnia between the end of MN and the start of LWW? But do you ever wondered what happened during the Golden age, when the Pevensies reigned in Narnia?
LWW give us some ideas- they wiped out the remnants of the White Witch's army until there was non left. That, of course, doesn't turn out to be true, because they were still around during the events of PC. They kept the good trues from being cut down as well.
It is mentioned that the kings from across the ocean came to ask for Susan's hand in marriage and "princes from within those parts desired (Lucy) to be their queen." What could "princes from within those parts" possibly mean?
HHB gives us an idea as well. Peter doesn't make an appearance because he's a way fighting the giants in the North. Susan is dealing with the situation where Prince Rabadash wants to marry her.
So while we do get some ideas of what happened during the Golden Age, I think we can only speculate what did.

The difference between that thread and this thread however, is that the former was predicted on the fact that several major narrative events must, by necessity, have occured during that time period in order for the two stories to connect up properly.
The golden age however doesn't come with that same requirement. Sure, stuff probably would have happened, but nothing which needs to have occured because is a logical necessity that it must of occurred. Certainly nothing that is all that interesting or unexplained at any rate.
Therefore any answer I could provide would be, by definition, Fan Fiction, rather than a logical inference, unless there is a more concrete narrative gap you think needs explaining?
Yes, but I thought we could speculate on what happened during the Pevensies reign in Narnia. We do get a glimpse of it in HHB.
I wonder what was left of the White Witch's army have gone into hiding. Even though the end of LWW said that the Pevensies wiped them out until there was non left, it turned out not to be true. So it may have been possible that they went into hiding during the Golden Age.
Obviously, Rabadash was not the only suitor that Susan had. She had quite a lot of them. It makes one wonder if they were noblemen from Archenland or the Duke of Galma or King or princes of Terenbithinia.
"The Princes from within those parts desired (Lucy) to be their Queen." But what could "princes from within those parts" actually mean? Obviously, there hasn't been any other humans for about 100 years in Narnia (with the 100 year winter according to the Timeline). So what could "princes from within those parts" be referring to, one may wonder.
There's also the ship, Splendor Hyline. It kind of makes you wonder how the Pevensies learned shipping and navigation during their reign. During the White Witch's reign, it may have been impossible for Narnians to set sail on the Eastern Ocean, due to the cold winter. So the Pevensies could have learn something about shipping and navigation at one point.

In the first book, which was meant to be self-contained, Narnia's the British mainland equivalent, and so the other countries by the same reasoning are shorthand for Germany, France, Belgium, Spain, etc. As British monarchs often married, in history, foreign royalty, like Henry VIII's first wife, who was from Spain. The "princes" signify that Susan as the elder silbling got a kind, while Lucy as the younger meant she had to be satisfied with a mere prince.
As more books were written, Galma, Terebinthia, and the Seven Isles came to signify those foreign countries. Though the first book makes those countries seem larger and grander.
But, at some point during the Pevensie reign humans did come back to Narnia, and in not insignificant numbers.
